It will cut down on all the silly conspiracy theories floating around. 1) The Chinese communists are arrogant, stupid and incompetent, a deadly mixture. They were experimenting with viruses they never should have tried to contain, nor could they have. It escaped due to their combination of arrogance, incompetence and stupidity. 2) The west simply failed to comprehend the scale of the epidemic befalling us. They actually believed the CCP’s statistics, and even after realizing they were fake, placed the economy and the market over human lives. Again, arrogance, incompetence and stupidity. No conspiracy theories need be ascribed.

My wife and I wouldn't be surprised that we contracted it in January either. We had a not very respiratory ailment with gastric complications (vomiting) on my part and gastrointestinal on the part of my wife. We also each had several brief periods of feeling unaccountably cold even with the heating on (usually signs of a raised body temperature) and both us had accompanying aches and pains. I, but thankfully not she who must be obeyed (!), was quite irritable or rather more so than usual. The whole episode lasted us about a fortnight. It didn't interrupt our daily routine. I have heard of a local highly respected and very experienced GP being quoted as saying that this virus has been around since Christmas. As to the reaction, what if a truly vicious epidemic such as a more infectious Ebola, emerged? Imagine the fear and panic then.

It's a strange virus. This is a serious virus for older patients and those with underlying health issues or compromised immune systems. But also younger healthy medical staff have died too. But for the majority it is a relatively mild virus.

I have to say.....people are amazing.....because God is so good in His gifts....and when there is freedom to use them. But even with all of the testing taking place now....even if you test negative you still have to exercise same preventative measures as everyone else...and who is to say how many days it might take, in same surroundings, that you won't come down with it and either not know it or have to just get tested again! But perhaps this will show which areas of the States could possibly be allowed more freedom in the near future. Italy Decrees Going to Church Is Not a Valid Reason for Leaving Home ROME — Italy’s Interior Ministry decreed Friday that going to a church to pray does not constitute a valid reason for leaving one’s home during the coronavirus lockdown, and violators are subject to heavy sanctions. Italians may leave their residences to purchase cigarettes, food, and medication and to walk their dogs, but they may not go to pray in a church unless they have a superior reason for being out and about and the church happens to fall along their path, in which case they may enter to pray, the Interior Ministry declared. In recent days, a number of church leaders have asked whether going to church for one’s spiritual health is more like going to the supermarket and pharmacy, which are considered essential and permitted, or like going to a cinema or sports stadium, considered optional and, therefore, forbidden. The Italian state has responded that churches fall into the latter category and thus are an insufficient reason to leave home. Those judged noncompliant with the strict norms restricting movement are subject to a fine between 400 and 3,000 euros, according to regulations released this week. Asked expressly whether believers are permitted to leave their homes, with an auto-certification, to go to church to pray, the Interior Ministry responded negatively. Church is not considered an essential activity, and, therefore, leaving one’s residence is not permitted, the Ministry said. Stopping at a church may only take place when one is away from home for proven work needs or situations of necessity and the church is located along the route. Hi from New Zealand. We are in a strict lockdown here. We have so far had 3 days of lockdown. If we violate the rules we are likely to be stopped and questioned by police. We are in the early stages. We have cases and clusters. We have 2 people in Intensive care. So far, no deaths. My main concern was to ensure all my 4 adult children were on the same Island as their parents. I had to fight hard to get my youngest child, Stephanie, aged 21, back to the South Island of New Zealand. She did not want to come home from her University city. But 24 hours before lockdown, she flew home. Thanks to prayers of many! The next morning she was sick. Her main symptoms were a very sore throat amd tiredness/ malaise. I was very concerned. However, she believed it was Strep Throat. The Doctor had a phone consultation with her, and put her on antibiotics on Thursday evening. She began to feel better and by Saturday she seemed to be well! So maybe it was Strep. But Im still observing her. So far, no fever.
It seems very capricious in the way it strikes. Alexander Schuggel who threw pachamama in the Tiber became very sick with it for 3 weeks. He is on the mend now. Taylor Marshall interviews him. Interesting. It is a nasty nasty bug. He was deathly I'll. He said God showed him why he was suffering and who(the cause) he was suffering for. He said all the prayers were huge. He credited them with his ability to get over it.
