Following is the shortest but most somber message given to Verne in the book God Speaks Will You Listen www.godspeakswillyoulisten.org . Put yourself in his place. What would you do?

9/21/07 My son, write these words as I instruct you. You have been granted my mercy and pardon for your transgressions and sins. To not write my words, is an act of disobedience to my will. When you consecrate yourself to my sacred heart, you are allowing me to use you as an instrument of my mercy. If you refuse to obey me, you will be chastised like the prophet Jonah. Follow my will as I lead and guide you.

 

Nor me. And I gelieve Church authorities have reined her in.

 

I think you missed the point of my question. Here's what the Archbishop said:

The model of existence and operation which I had hoped Mrs. Gallagher would adopt for her work was that of the Private Association of the Christian Faithful, the most basic and flexible model of association presently available in Canon Law. I was pleasantly surprised when, after months of delay and apparently fruitless correspondence, Mrs. Gallagher contacted me recently to tell me that she had set up such an association, as she had indeed a right to do. I was surprised further, however, to be informed in the same letter that not my approval but rather that of Rome would be requested for the statutes of the new association since this work was to be “of world-wide scope”.​

Now, did she request Rome's approval and, if so, did she get it? Do you know? Does anyone supporting GSWYL and, by extension, Christina Gallagher know?

I wish that those of you supporting this stuff would take a step back and look at the damage it does - damage which continues long after you have dismissed it and moved on to the next self-proclaimed prophet. The Faith in Ireland is on life support - hanging by a thread. Every story about old people being talked out of their life savings, and every story of people paying ridiculous amounts of money for supposedly sacred and miraculous artifacts is more cannon fodder for the enemies of the Faith. It's ordinary, faithful Catholics who suffer. They all are lumped into the category of mindless, superstitious cult followers, easy prey for the next charlatan or deluded mystic with an escape God's wrath plan. The liberal, "the Church needs to get with the secular programme if it wants to survive" Catholics use it to destroy the Church from within. And the atheists love it. For those of us trying to get the message of genuine, approved prophecy (both public and private) to young relatives willing to listen, it's our worst nightmare. The amount of long term harm it can do to the already weakened Church in Ireland is immeasurable.

Also, it is not Catholic for individuals or small groups of people to amass fortunes off messages from Heaven. Dating back to biblical times, the Church functions on sharing where the faithful contribute according to their means and the Church distributes according to people's needs. According to uncontested newspaper reports, Christina Gallagher's organisation has assets valuable enough to fund the building of an ark. The entire business stinks to high Heaven. Jesus is our refuge - not mansions in Malahide or England, with or without indoor heated swimming pools.

Many of the people who paid attention to her and promoted her messages, even as possibly authentic, will have moved on. Even if they wanted to, it would be impossible for them to track down and set the record straight with every person who read or heard them repeat or promote the messages.

As to Verne, I don't know the source of his "messages", whether he is faking it or deceived, but if that source is affirming Christina Gallagher as God's messenger, I urge people to think long and hard before lending it any credence. I also find that supposed portrait of God the Father to be downright creepy. It's the nearest thing to a self-portrait I have ever seen. And as to people being cured by looking at it on the internet.............give me a break!

So far I haven't really stated an opinion on this thread about your messages, I just recalled reading a message awhile ago which I believe stated that after Pope Benedict dies the 3.5 year reign of the Antichrist will begin and then the Second Coming occurs. Since I had been reading a lot of prophecies about a Great Monarch and Holy Pope reigning during a period of peace before the Antichrist, I questioned this at the time because I was finally convinced that the period of peace could be a long period of time. I suppose that Pope Benedict could live for many years still or the period of peace will be short since we are not guaranteed anything.

This statement was included in the message on 10/17/07, "My people the time is shorter than you realize." It's true that is better to be ready than not to be ready.

I understand exactly what you are stating, you are relaying the messages and you can't answer for God. We will see what happens if we live long enough.

Joey was actually told he would receive his eyesight when the miracle happens, but he has already received his eyesight in Heaven. So, he will see the miracle -just not from here!

There is a lot more to this particular message and it appears that this is speaking of the very end and this "era of peace" could be the 45 days that occur after the Antichrist is put to death. This is just my suggestion. Here is a link to the entire message.

But then there is this, "The length of time of the era of peace has not been revealed to mankind." IDK.

The thing that I question is the 3 days of darkness being at the very end because Marie -Julie Jahenny along with other seers who have prophesized this appear to speak of this occurring during the man-made tribulation and Birch has in fact placed it there accordingly.

I find a lot of the messages to be very difficult to discern.

 

It would appear that Gallagher is referring to a private association for her group. A private association exists in virtue of a private agreement among its members. A private association may or may not be recognized by the local Church authority, according to the wishes of the members. "The faithful may form associations on their own without any intervention of Church authority. At the same time, an association of the faithful, by definition, always shows respect for Church authority and works to promote the unity and strength of Church life."

I don't follow her. I have heard a few "experts" who have followed her along with others and believe that she was authentic in the beginning and then things somehow got influenced otherwise. I don't know anything about fortunes accumulated....that criticism comes often against the seers of Medjugorje as well...just because they have larger homes (than they had originally in some cases) to accommodate the pilgrims they serve or just to have an income...and cultures of course differ in the affordability of their homes and/or the expense of building w/o the red tape that is normal in other places. I know that Gallagher's spiritual advisor at the time asked for a lot of accommodations for those extra who accompanied them and an increase in the payment from a local radio program that was bringing them to the area...above what was offered which itself was above what was normally paid to others. That didn't sit too well and so they were canceled.

 

All the doubting Thomas' on this subject on the relevance of the book God Speaks Will You Listen are missing a very validating point and that is the indisputable healing miracle of the painting of God the Father from the first person to have looked upon it. A healing miracle verified by medical doctor whom provided a detail explanation of her miraculous healing. All this information posted on another thread (Healing Picture of God the Father) on MOG, yet it has dumbfounded those naysayers on this thread as if it didn't even happen. That is the diabolical disorientation that was spoken of at Fatima. When heaven is working miracles, while some on this MOG forum continue to try and discredit Cletus vision and painting of God the Father as he was shown in 1956 is beyond reason. It was Cletus who put this healing picture inside the front cover of the book GSWYL. It was Cletus who knew the messages to be of God and had paid for and had printed out 20,000 books in 2008, after he had several holy priests, monks and theologians review the book and confirmed nothing in it is contrary to faith and morals of the Catholic faith. It is Cletus that was given the gifts of healing (100's) along with other supernatural gifts. Yet this is all dismissed by a few who only cling to doctrines alone while God continues to work through his messengers. Doctrines alone do not save, it is love which is the greatest of the virtues and it is in God's love that he uses his messengers to prepare his church for what is taking place now and to come. Verne was just the messenger God used and the MOG forum has been blessed by Verne answering all the questions given to him in a very dignified way. I don't think much more can be said, except if you have faith, no explanation is necessary, if you don't, no explanation is possible.

 

Yes, but of course that would depend upon the interpretation....literal or with a mystical part which was not thought of or expected until another explanation became necessary after his death. If that is the case then the kind of "miracle" expected from the earthly defective human point of view, in the here and now, would not have occurred. And if in heaven, well, without as yet receiving his glorified body, that would not be anything more than any other individual receiving his/her reward in heaven would also receive,...for same or any other earthly limitation that person may have had and without having to wait any longer for a Miracle day, once in heaven. Such a promise then would not be anything out of the ordinary.

I suppose that no one really knows for certain how to explain it, but I don't think that Our Lady was vague about any other parts of this visitation and so didn't intend for anything to be confused beyond what was given. I wasn't the one, on my own, to consider the part that the Church has played in delaying or stopping heaven's plans for this (as well as others) visitation of our Mother. It was offered to me by someone who follows mystical events with personal long time friendships with the Medjugorje seers and is very close to Fr. Seraphim of Divine Mercy, having been granted a special role in that devotion by Pope JPII and who was invited on the altar stage for Faustina's canonization. Of course that is just another point of view....again, nothing necessarily written in stone.

 

Many fake messengers promise healing
MDM for example...“Suffering can be reduced through the prayers of My remnant army, because I bequeath to them special graces. The miracles I promised the world, through My Crusade Prayers, will increase and many will witness healings and conversions. It will be through these miracles that I will make Myself known, even to the most hardened of sceptics.”
From memory MDM was pretty good at making threats to those who doubted the messages as well.

 

And were any or those medically verified? I mean you can't be holier than the Church in your criteria!

 

Is the painting healing church verified?

Where is the testimony on the healing?
With the information regarding the condition before and afterwards.

 

Of course we have no way of comparing the period of peace AFTER the "renewal of the earth" and after "we are re-created" with what our limited and defective human nature knows of now. Since everything will have a sense of rebirth after the purification and tribulation it will, as a whole be something unimaginable to what we know "in this life".....light will be different and death itself will be seen as the true birth and information itself will be acquired in some new way. So "in this life" may have a more definite understanding from this new perspective as something never wishing to be experienced again once being able to be "born" into this new creation takes place.

Well, apparently from Fatima's comment the healings have been medically verified. The Church, if asked to inquire or willing to, would itself have to use such scientific verification. Why one should not expect more than the Church Herself would ask for. In fact that would itself put this particular revelation further down the road than others already being studied if called upon.

 

So this meets your requirements or else were expecting .......''Holier than the church'' ?

 

Not too well read up on the topic?....even scripture itself alludes to such from the Garden's own description and this coming time is the fulfillment of the Divine Will (which never changed) after the fall to an even greater extent since it will be a period without the influence of the evil one. Beyond scripture there are the various descriptions from such Church recognized eschatological theologians such as Fr. Joseph Iannuzzi, as one of my sources. I wouldn't personally challenge his motives nor his expertise.

 

Do you know why things are done properly in Lourdes and why it is so hard to have many miracles approved there?

 

It's an expression used for those who may ask more from others, to prove their own point, than even the Church would demand of them....if asked.
