I want know how many in the end are saved. In Fatima the children saw a multitude of souls within hell and Christ himself said that it easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle... Nothing scares me more than thought of loved ones and friends being eternally damned.
Me too....pray for the conversion of sinners! Many souls are lost because there is no one to pray for them!( our Lady of Fatima)
I would ask , Lord ,what words comes after ''In Portrugal the Dogma of the faith will always be preserved'' If the answer backed up the official line ...''There is no more'' ''All has been revealed'' I would be shocked , and have to change much of what I think. I got taken aback when I read this question because I thought to myself, it is so technical and controversial I will only end up getting drawn into a row over the Third Secret of Fatima..and anyway no matter what I write it will not accepted. In either case most people who read this and are interested will know far more about the Third Secret of Fatima than I do and Fatima generally. So I felt my feathers droop a little, especially since this was my very first question. But then I remembered I was supposed to take these questions to the Feet of Mary in prayer ; so I did and this was the answer I got back. I am sorry if it was not the answer you were expecting.
Our Lady explained to me in prayer that the reason why we tend to get stuck in questions like this is that we are not viewing her message in the correct light. We are using human reason to decipher instead of being laid by prayerful grace. That we have to pray about them , rather than studying them with human reason, in much the same way as we approach Scripture. If we did this we would not quarrel over what particular apparition is or is not authentic drawing the fullness of the message from what pearls we can hold in our hearts and accept. Discarding the rest but still coming to the fulness of grace led understanding heaven both demands and expects. Understanding being the first step to putting these messages into practice in our own homes and hearts. Being reminded that even the devil sees God and fears. But still does not act as he should. We who are visited by the Blessed Virgin must take our messages into our hearts in such a way that our lives should be changed. Our Blessed Lady went on to explain to her have as a key to the understanding of her messages, simply this: That she came and comes first second and last for the good of Holy Mother Church and so in the renewal of the Barque of Peter to lead to the conversion of the Entire World. She showed me that in understanding his truth we understand all. That this is the source and centre of all the Marian Secrets, set forth plainly in Scripture. She warns against getting caught up in vain speculation , but to work with the help of the Most High God for our own conversion , first step to the conversion of the entire world. She warns that time is short but she will walk hand in hand , securing and guiding with many graces those who walk beside her in fulfillment of the messages she was sent from heaven to plant in our hearts. Thanks for posting this Padraig, often people get caught up in one apparition site over another. But I never understood this because just as God is one, His plan for salvation is one, but with many different parts. I have been writing a short commentary and reference guide to Catholic prophecy and I am utterly amazed at how much correlation there is. That is, it is amazing to see just how many Saints, Blesseds and mystics in the church all talk about the same set of events, like a broken record. I noticed something else to, when Our Lady comes to this earth to gives us messages, She only confirms what Catholic prophecy has said centuries ago. It is like Our Lord is saying "they did not listen to my Saints, so I will send My Mother".

No Mary, but it doesn't look good does it? Jesus said, 'From those to whom much has been given, much will be expected'. There are few countries on the face of the Earth that have been granted greater graces than Ireland. But we have spat them back in the face of God. I was appalled to discover at Lough Derg than many of the pilgrims supported same sex, 'Marriage', it was as if the gorund had opened up under my feet.
Sad to say this does not surprise me. Generally Catholics have not been educated to understand why same sex coupling is wrong. They have not been taught how to think about it in such as way to support the case against it. In the old days "because the bible says so" was enough. This is no longer so. Such glib answers are no longer enough or acceptable because the opposition is far better educated in their answers. Vatican II taught us to question but did not teach us how to think. I love Vatican II but its work is unfinished.
At the time of the Protestant Reofrmation some people choose to follow Luther. For most I suppose this was thorugh ignorance as they had little enough graps of the Cahtolic Faith in the first place. But actions had consequences. Through becoming Protestants they lost the EUcharist, Devotion to the Blessed Virgin, COnfession and so on. If people choose to belive sexual perversion is fine , that choice will have consequences too, including for many being thrown into hell.
