This says a lot about the Republican establishment given that Rubio is their choice of candidate.

This is definitely good news. Can't get much better than this. The only thing is both don't drink. ;) Every once in awhile I want to drink.

Well, during the campaign, I admired Dr. Carson, but thought he was somewhat mercurial, inconsistent and politically naive. He did say a couple things that made my question his pro-life credentials - seemed more pro-life from a bully pulpit perspective, and not so much from a practical policy perspective. Well, now, I still admire him for his life story, but I think that he has just destroyed any political career he might have had in the future. Wonder what Trump gave him...

I'm really disappointed to read that Trump had to cancel a rally at the University of Illinois. This has nothing to do with whether you support or don't support a candidate. A core American value has always been to defend speech. So for those opposed to Trump to take over and force him to not be able to speak us troubling. It's even more troubling that it occurs on a college campus where so called exchanges of all ideas are to be freely shared. Shame on the University of Illinois and Trump opposers. Not a good sign for a democracy.

Yes, this is disgraceful behaviour especially on a College campus. So much for freedom of speech - so long as you say what they want to hear. This is how anarchists behave.

Watching reports about this on CNN, I'm amazed that there are Republicans blaming Trump for the disruption. They are accusing him for inciting anger, as though there was no anger or divisiveness in the US before Trump entered the race.........no Ferguson riots and no Black Lives Matter protesters blocking traffic and swarming on shopping malls.

Everyone, especially politicians (irrespective of political affiliation), who supports freedom of speech and freedom of assembly should condemn this.

I can't help feeling that this is Prophetic and points to America's immediate future:

I question the authority also on the American right to protest....but also it must be peaceful.

Pray much America! You can see where all this is heading should he win the nomination. Very sad.

And this is the "hero" of a few on MOG who is going to bring peace to the US and the world. Once again, they fail to see the double talk of Trump on this video clip, on the one had calling for no violence at his rally and several other times advocating violence to hit and "knock em out and I will pay for the legal fees". "I'd like to punch him in the face, I tell you." This is, and he is, an icon of the diabolical disorientation that our Lady of Fatima said would come. This is who some on this forum believes can lead a country in its greatest moment of trial.

Lying Ted blames Trump for the Chicago violence:

Lying Ted is now fully exposed as an establishment shill. If Lying Ted was capable of telling the truth he would have told us that Bill Ayers was at the Trump rally with the "protesters." Hey Ted, is Bill Ayers a "peaceful protester?" If Ted was a genuine conservative and lover of truth, he would have told us that Move On.org operatives were out in full force at Trump's Chicago protest. If Lying Ted was an honest man, he would have defended Trump's decision cancel the rally on the advice of Law Enforcement. Trump's decision prevented any real bloodshed from taking place because Bill Ayers and Move On.org and the Black Panthers that were present looked to me like they had every intent of engaging in the types of violence that they have become known for at the Trump rallies.

Here is Trump in his own words:

Trouble is, Fatima, that if he doesn't win the nomination these anarchists will see it as their victory and go on to use the same tactics against anyone who doesn't agree with them. Trump's rallies today, pro-life rallies tomorrow. Everyone who values freedom should condemn these anarchists because when they gain control (and they will) any opposition to them will land you in prison. And don't think for a minute that the groups organising the anarchist protests don't have background support from supposedly freedom loving squeaky clean politicians. Groups like this and politicians like Trump would have minimal support if holier-than-thou politicians hadn't betrayed people's trust.

Pray not just for America but for the supposedly free world because groups like this are on the march everywhere and are gaining in power and influence, sometimes financed by very evil wealthy individuals and organisations. What we are seeing is a symptom of the disease of turning our backs to God.
