Oh, Dawn, well...you are getting what you want. Let's hope it doesn't bite you back. I am so entertained watching liberals pissed that Obama hadn't done this before. I gotta hand it to Trump, he is playing it to the max.

Kim Jong-Un ‘orders IMMEDIATE EVACUATION of Pyongyang’ as tensions with US escalate

The North Korean leader has ordered an evacuation of the Capital

NORTH Korea leader Kim Jong-un has reportedly ordered residents of the country’s capital Pyongyang to leave the city immediately, sparking fears he may be preparing for war.

Reports in Russian newspaper Pravda Report claim more than 600,000 people - around 25 per cent of the city’s population - are being urgently evacuated, as tensions escalate between North Korea and the United States.

According to South Korean media, residents in the kingdom have said goodbye to each other, sparking concerns the tyrannical leader could be about to act after months of nuclear weapon testing.

Foreign reporters have been told to prepare for a “big and important event" on North Korea's biggest national celebration, called ‘Day of the Sun’.

A tweet from Channel NewsAsia’s Beijing Correspondent Jeremy Koh said: “We’ve been told to be ready to move out at 6.20am, but no idea why. Also, no cell phones allowed.”

More than 200 foreign journalists are in Pyongyang as the country marks the 105th birthday of its founding president Kim Il Sung on April 15.

Officials in North Korea have already warned nuclear war could break out at any minute thanks to the "extremely tense" situation on the Korean Peninsula.

The US sent a navy strike group towards the Western Pacific in a show of force, with North Korea retorting with warnings of a nuclear attack in retaliation to any show of aggression.

China has also moved 150,000 soldiers close to the North Korean border in preparation for war.

The move comes after president Trump launched 59 Tomahawk missiles at a Syrian airfield in response for the country’s brutal chemical attack which left 79 civilians dead.

North Korean officials have given no clues as to the nature of the “surprise event” or where it would take place.

However, past announcements of a similar nature have turned out to be relatively low-key.

In 2016 foreign journalists underwent hours of investigation by North Korean officials ahead of what turned out to be a pop concert to mark the finale of a ruling Workers' Party congress.

However, on the 100th Day of the Sun, held in April 2012, North Korea attempted to launch a long-range rocket.

With war tensions raging, officials worldwide are wondering whether Kim Jong-un will use the special date to strike America after months of threats over nuclear weapons.

  5. BREAKING – North Korea Gearing Up to Test Nuclear Weapon This Weekend, May Be Detonated Saturday Morning

North Korea may test a nuclear weapon on Saturday morning, according to U.S. government sources.

    The Daily Caller reports:

The North has reportedly installed a nuclear device inside one of the tunnels at its Punggye-ri Nuclear Test Site, reports Voice of America’s Steve Herman, citing government and other sources. A provocation is expected Saturday, but it could possibly come sooner.

Saturday is the “Day of the Sun,” the 105th anniversary of the birth of North Korean founder. This would be the North’s sixth nuclear test.

“We have no comment at this time, but we will be watching closely,” a National Security Council official told VOA.

White House Bureau chief, Steve Herman sent out a series of tweets with information about the nuclear test…

I have a very good friend living in Seoul, she has told me everything there in the South seems calm.
I don't think they are getting the same news feeds we are. Or maybe it's just being hyped up this side of the world. ????

This is hype by the media Martina. Yes, the situation is tenuous but these links and especially the video of supposed air raid sirens is a joke. Lights on in Pyonyang while air raid sirens are going off?

I would not believe much these days coming from that region unless you know someone in the armed forces who is up to speed on it and then they should shut their mouths. :)

I am hopeful that China will be as pragmatic as they always have been and handle the situation at their doorstep. I doubt very highly that they want US troops on their border and that is what they will get. It is never wise to underestimate an adversary but IMO the biggest crisis from war with NK will be the absolute humanitarian crisis that will develop as a result. We decimated Iraq in hours and their military was much more modern and larger than that of NK.

Please God you are correct and it's a storm in a tea cup. There is one thing I do wish for is that eventually someday those poor souls of NK that are trapped in those government camps find liberty and a good life.

It appears that Trump & Crew have made some kind of deal in regards to NK and their Pot Bellied Mad Dictator. China has massed 10 divisions worth of troops on the NK border, refused the delivery of NK coal ships (more USA coal to PRC?) and, supposedly, told NK to shut down their Nuke Program? Meanwhile the USA has a Carrier Battle Group headed to Korean waters (augmented, no doubt, with Missile Subs), talk of Tactical Nukes being sent to SK and, though I haven't seen any articles, I would bet the farm that the USAF/USN is reinforcing Guam and Japan. We still have 7 1/2 months in the pivotal/Prophetic? year of 2017 for ...................:(.......................????

GOD SAVE ALL HERE & Happy Eastertide!!

If you keep lighting matches in a barn full of hay the barn will eventually burn down. Trump has been lighting matches like there is no tomorrow.

Well maybe there will be no tomorrow.

I believe it is naieve to believe Trump wants to make life better for Christians. I had so much hope Mr Trump would allow the Syrian people to settle their politics themselves after DAESH OR isis was pummelled into the ground. But alas no. He is carrying on the Obama method of backing isis and the rebels, pretending to be on the right side.

First when I heard President Trump took advice from his daughter Ivanka about dropping those missiles on Syria, what a disgrace, I was horrified. The American electorate did not vote Trumps daughter in to the White House. In the name of God has the man taken leave of his senses.

The Russians have said they bombed a municians factory and Russia said there must have also been chemicals held in the same location, which resulted in the chemical poisoning. Of course it does not suit the liberal progressives to believe the chemicals came from the rebels, so we are all propagandised to believe it was that bad Mr Assad.

And is anyone going to try and tell me no civilians or children were killed as a result of the forty or fifty bombs the USA dropped on Syria for spite. Media silence of course when Trump does the bidding of the war mongers. Demons.

As far as I can see, Trump is being worn down by the constant bulls##t from the media. And playing the DEMONcrats game just to get past what must be a swamp of innuendo from those who only care about destroying America. If the Demoncrats can't have her, no one can. Yes Trump should have been more guarded in what he said and tweeted; but face it, he was not a politician or a statesman, and had no experience in the field of diplomacy along with the fallout for not thinking before he opened his mouth. God help Mr Trump through this, or we could have a nuclear war on our hands.

Interesting...he is lighting matches everywhere. Hopefully he can control the burn. Not that easy with so many ego-centric leaders. He is trying to show his strength but it's a dangerous way to show it.

    Time for prayer.

Good Friday should be starting over at the island. Have a restful and peaceful day.

  17. Have people who voted for Trump and were thrilled that he was elected suddenly forgotten what he promised to do to ISIS DURING the campaign? What's all this then about Trump going against what he said he was going to do....esp. about finally having our troops' backs.

The move marks the fulfilment of a 17-month-old campaign promise Trump delivered in Iowa, when he scoffed at ISIS terror forces and said he 'would bomb the s**t out of them' if he became president.

Our troops fighting on the ground have been almost begging for something decisive to be done on their behalf. Remember....Obama's rules of engagement had our people as sitting ducks for the enemy with all kinds of rules that tied their hands and made them targets. We lost many of our own due to this. He announced where they would be, how many, when they would leave (even before they got there) and how many would be left behind. And then those men/women who happened to unintentionally hit civilians in the fog of war because they were used by the enemy to hide behind were placed on Obama's "enemies list"....along with Christians. Trump inherited a global mess. He said he would take it to the enemy overseas so there would not be here what is now being permitted in the EU. They are suicidal there. Also, Trump is leaving the fight to the commanders on the ground....also supposedly what the people wanted instead of more of our troops' lives being offered up. Thus this bomb was directed to Afghanistan area populated by ISIS:
Pentagon spokesman Adam Stump said the bomb was dropped on a cave complex believed to be used by fighters affiliated to Isis in the Achin district of Nangarhar, close to the border with Pakistan.

Veteran General Mark Hertling told the broadcaster the "Air Force must have had a good target...normally smaller artillery could have been used”.

The remote border area with Pakistan has been known as a breeding ground for an Isis affiliate called IS Khorosan.

Still....God help us. I'm afraid that what has been written IF things don't change has begun. Since JPII's death (whose life and suffering extended the time of Mercy) Justice has begun "kissing" Mercy until the arrival of the Warning after which will be only justice. There should now be huge campaigns of prayer for at least mitigation.

I don't think some people are aware that when America says they are bombing the rebels; they are bombing the troops who support Assad. America is not bombing isis. That is the problem

Did you realise the day Russia got into the Syria conflict, they only gave half an hours notice of the first bombs being dropped on the isis rebels. American personnel were killed, because they did not have time to get them out of the way. America was supporting isis, and we were told they were bombing isis; and their troops were caught by the speed with which the first Russian bombs were dropped. That was the day I realised we were being lied to all along. No wonder Assads troops were losing against America and isis combined. No wonder there were two and three generations of muslim families heading for Syria. They must have been told by their relatives out there that isis was having a ball. All that heading for Syria stopped when Russia began bombing isis.

I foolishly thought Trump was going to be honest. But it looks like he is playing the escalation game by bombing the Assad troops, some of whom are rebels. So Syria is doomed to more deadly warfare.

For shame on you Mr Trump. I thought you were a man of your word. Oh sorry Mr Trump, you delegated the fate of Syria to Ivanka, it must be her call.
