Same here in northern New England. Last couple of years the bees built high and boy did we have snow. I haven't heard what they are doing this time but the trees started turning two weeks ago. That is SO early. I find it strange.
Yes AED, here in NH the leaves are the bright red and orange already, plenty of winter squashes, but the bees appear to have their nests low. Strange.
Yes. Very strange. Maine and NH are kissing cousins as far as weather is concerned. I wonder if we are in for something very odd ball. Normally early colors mean early winter but who knows? I just don't think this year is going to be business as usual.
I never heard that but here is a little bit about it, http://www.pilgrimvirginstatue.com/miracles/miracles-of-tears With mention of that infamous 1973 Supreme Court case.
Did anyone watch this video put out by the Fatima Center today?? My mouth fell from minute 35:25 - 37:00
DM, Wow, thank you for posting this. It popped up on youtube today when I was watching another video but I put off watching it. At the mark that you direct us to, Chris Ferrara mentions the appearance of "A Woman Clothed In The Sun". Mr. Ferrara states that a mystic named Vladimir Soloviev wrote in a book called "Three Conversations", that after this sign appears in the sky there will be a terrible confrontation, a war involving Russia and forces in the East which affects the entire world then there will be a reunification of the East with the West in the Catholic church. He also questions what will be left of the church and the world at the time that it does happen. Very interesting. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vladimir_Solovyov_(philosopher)
Trees turning to Fall colors here in Maryland Well over a month early Weather LOTS cooler for the last 6 weeks Don't know anything about the bees though Acorns early ????
I noticed the use of the term "celestial sign" when referring to the WCWTS. I found that especially interesting
The prophet, Soloviev, spoken of in the video: http://papistfilioquistazymite.blogspot.com/2009/08/vladimir-sergeivich-soloviev-on.html
DM, The book, "Three Converstations" by Vladimir Solovyov sounds like a good read! I forgot to mention about his prophecy of a great pope named Pope Peter II. May be his name won't actually be that but Chris Ferrara states, Vladimir Solovyov stated that Pope Peter II will bring about the unification of the church, including the Catholics, Orthodox and Evangelical Protestants into the one true church. Sounds like the "Holy Pope" or the "New Pope" from other prophecies. etoa, Thank you for posting this. I have not read it yet but it appears to be related to his prophecies about the anti-Christ. Many here may be interested in this. I wonder if we can find something more on the internet about the prophecies of the Pope Peter II and the unification of the church. Tomorrow I will search some more. Good night everyone.
Interesting read: http://www.goodcatholicbooks.org/antichrist.html A Short Story of the Anti-Christ From "Three Conversations" (published 1900) by Vladimir Soloviev "A Short Story of Antichrist" tells how the genuine believers of the Church reunite in the twenty-first century during the reign of Antichrist. Compromised by well-chosen allurements offered by the world's ruler and his false prophet, the various churches are divided between genuine disciples and mere adherents of religion. Both sides of this division reunite. The orthodox believers from each of the three major streams, led and represented by Pope Peter II (Catholicism), the Elder John of Russia (Orthodoxy), and Professor Pauli (Evangelical Protestantism), are last seen together in the wilderness, following the cosmic sign of the "Woman clothed with the sun." This is followed by Christ's return in glory, and a united Christianity following Peter, John, and Paul (the same three figures as above, now unveiled) approaching Zion to greet him. It is a magnificent conclusion, reflecting a biblical sensibility, and a vision of the imperfections of this age giving way ultimately to Christ's kingdom. ....At first, he (Emperor/AC) bore no ill feeling toward Christ. He recognized his messianic importance and value, but he was sincere in seeing in him only his own greatest precursor. The moral achievement of Christ and his uniqueness were beyond an intellect so completely clouded by self-love as his. Thus he reasoned: "Christ came before me. I come second. But what, in order of time, appears later is, in its essence, of greater importance. I come last, at the end of history, and for the very reason that I am most perfect. I am the final savior of the world, and Christ is my precursor. His mission was to precede and prepare for my coming." Thinking thus, the superman of the twenty-first century applied to himself everything that was said in the Gospels about the second coming, explaining the latter not as a return of the same Christ, but as a replacing of the preliminary Christ by the final one -- that is, by himself. .......... Among the members present, three men were particularly conspicuous. The first was Pope Peter II, who legitimately led the Catholic part of the congress. His predecessor had died on the way to the congress, and a conclave had met in Damascus, and unanimously elected Cardinal Simone Barionini, who took the name of Peter. He came of plebeian stock, from the province of Naples, and had become famous as a preacher of the Carmelite Order, having earned great successes in fighting a certain Satanic sect which was spreading in St. Petersburg and its environs and seducing not only the Orthodox but the Catholic faithful as well. ........In this manner, the unification of churches took place in the midst of a dark night on a high and deserted spot. But the nocturnal darkness was suddenly illuminated with brilliant light and a great sign appeared in the heavens; it was a woman, clothed in the sun with the moon beneath her feet and a wreath of twelve stars on her head. The apparition remained immovable for some time, and then began slowly to move in a southward direction. Pope Peter raised his staff and exclaimed: "Here is out banner! Let us follow it!" And he walked after that apparition, accompanied by both the old men and the whole crowd of Christians, to God's mountain, to Sinai ...
And at 7min Chris recalls the words of Pope Paul VI on his 1967 Fatima pilgrimage. What would it be if an arbitrary and unauthorized interpretation by the Church's magisterium caused this awakening of a dissolving disturbance of its traditional and constitutional society, replacing the theology of true and great masters with new and special ideologies designed to remove the norms of faith as modern thought, often lacking in rational light, does not understand or dislike, and change the apostolic anxiety of redemptive charity in acquiescence to the negative forms of the profane mentality and worldly costume! What a disappointment it would be our universal approach to striving if we did not offer to the Christian Brothers, still divided by us, and to humanity devoid of our faith in its honest authenticity and in its original beauty the patrimony of truth and charity, of which the Church is a depositary and dispenser!
The news is picking up on the situation with their own spin on things of course, http://www.foxnews.com/science/2017...on-sept-23-christian-numerologists-claim.html Biblical prophecy claims the world will end on Sept. 23, Christian numerologists claim Published September 15, 2017 Fox News File photo: A photo taken by Expedition 46 flight engineer Tim Peake of the European Space Agency (ESA) aboard the International Space Station shows Italy, the Alps, and the Mediterranean on January, 25, 2016. (REUTERS/NASA/Tim Peake) A Christian numerologist claims that the world will end next Saturday when a planet will, supposedly, collide with Earth. According to Christian numerologist David Meade, verses in Luke 21:25 to 26 are the sign that recent events, such as the recent solar eclipse and Hurricane Harvey, are signs of the apocalypse. 7 NEW EARTH-LIKE EXOPLANETS DISCOVERED, NASA ANNOUNCES The verses read: “25: There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea. People will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken.' "'26: Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.' Sept. 23 is a date that was pinpointed using codes from the Bible, as well as a "date marker" in the pyramids of Giza in Egypt. Meade's views are not endorsed by Roman Catholic, Protestant or eastern Orthodox branches of Christianity. Meade has built his theory on the so-called Planet X, which is also known as Nibiru, which he believes will pass Earth on Sept. 23, causing volcanic eruptions, tsunamis and earthquakes, according to British newspaper The Sun. PLANET DISCOVERY FUELS INTEREST IN MYTHICAL WORLD OF DEEP SPACE NASA has repeatedly said Planet X is a hoax. For a certain branch of evangelical Christianity, Revelation 12:1–2, describes the beginning of what is known as the rapture and the second coming of Christ. The passage reads: "And a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of 12 stars. She was pregnant and was crying out in birth pains and the agony of giving birth." In the passage, the woman is Virgo. On Sept. 23, both the sun and the moon will be in Virgo, as will the planet Jupiter. However, this occurrence happens naturally once every 12 years. There is also a rare alignment, known as "the Lion of the tribe of Judah," which the conspiracy theorists are hanging their hats on. According to the Express, author Jonathan Sarfati wrote that the same planetary coincidence previously happened four times in the last millennium. "As usual with any astrology (or Christian adaptations of it), one cherry-picks the stars that fit the desired conclusion," Sarfati wrote, according to the Express. "There is nothing to suggest that 23 September is a momentous date for biblical prophecy, and Christians need to be careful about being drawn into such sensationalist claims."
Yep, YT has tons of videos out now on it as well as many of the more common interest message boards have protestant rapture threads going. Many of those are full of Atheists insulting God and anyone who believes in Him. I tried to tell a friend about it recently and before I could even tell him he shut me down completely. The world is really going insane.
So what happens on 9/24? We start talking about the end of the world on 9/23/18 right? Why is it always 9/23 for collapse? Last few years it has been
Planet X /Nibiru What a load of rubbish. There was a thread a few years ago on this site that covered this nonsense. Best ignored as it is like the fairies in Ireland - don't exist.
The idea of Nibiru was created out of thin air by Zachariah Sitchin: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zecharia_Sitchin It's a lot like Scientology and L. Ron Hubbard. They both are complete works of fiction.
I think that Fox News picked up on the fringe story of the world ending on September 23rd to attempt to entirely discredit the Revelation 12 Sign. Most people who are studying this sign believe that it is a sign from God but they are not certain that something will occur exactly on September 23d and almost no one is speaking of the world ending on that date.
