https://www.thegodminute.org/ I am not sure how many of you have heard of this app or website, but I thought I would promote it here. Not because of the fact that I have come to appreciate the daily meditations and readings given here, but primarily because many of the women in my family have come to love it. It is roughly ten minutes each day and all a person has to do is listen. It's very life giving. It seems like a very appropriate step forward using today's technology to connect with God and the church. It is led by Fr. Ron Hoye. I think some here may appreciate it.
Thank you! It's wonderful to pause in the middle of my busy day to ponder the above. It is wonderful to to pause on Friday evenings to follow the way of the Cross with fellow Catholics. It is wonderful, yet humbling, to receive a correction from my precious wife. It is wonderful to hear wisdom from Msgr. Francis at weekday Masses. It is humbling to expose my sinful heart to God in the presence of a priest. It is wonderful to hear a testimony from a new convert. Where would we be without the One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church?
What I love about the God minute is that we need just listen. For me it is close to going to church without being there.
