Pope Francis is very hard to understand but Pentin does a superb job of framing his thinking intellectually, culturally and theologically. Unfortunately, with regard to the latter some of the theologians whom the pope admires and is influenced by are men infected by the spirit of modernism of the worst kind.
Like so many of his generation 3specially Jesuits--he is Teilhardian. He subscribes to the evolution of all things including doctrine. Deeper studies of Teilhard's personal notes and diaries reveal such troubling things. He may very well have been possessed. ( Our Lady of Revelation talks on you tube--episode 8) He speaks of being taken over by an entity that called itself "spiritus mundi". It is a chilling account. Even though his works were condemned by the popes up to John XXIII the seminaries in open rebellion continued to teach him.
Christ told us that He is 'The Way and The Truth and The Life'. It is the view of this Teilhardist pope, it seems, that Truth is not absolute, but something that 'evolves' and that one adapts to what life throws at one, whereas Christ intended that we adapt our lives to His Truth. Reduced to its essentials, Bergoglianism seems little different to 'do as you will'.
Moral relativism. There is no such thing as an objective truth. Truth is subjective, whatever we happen to think it is at that present moment. Insane.
The irony is that Darwin's conjectured 'evolution' is manifestly false. Things do not pull themselves up by their bootstraps and develop into things higher than themselves. This is magical thinking which has been shown to be false. Lower things can only come from Something Higher. Nevertheless, this erroneous speculation has metastasised from biology, where it was relevant, if errant, to fields of reality where it has no relevance whatsoever. Teilhard, who seems to have had a Luciferian inability to see himself as a humble creature, incoherently conjectured a system in which he could imagine himself 'evolving' in parallel with Christ. Incredibly, this absurd, irrational, illogical speculation has somehow taken over the imagination of a number of people who are apparently a lot less bright than they like to think they are.
The Synod is up to no good. One of the most urgent priorities for the Church should be the Dogmatic Definition of Mother Mary as Mediatrix of All Graces, but these liberal churchmen have no interest in Real Dogma. Instead, on the pretext of being "pastoral", they'll fall for one compromise after another - all in the name of Synodal Synods on Synodality.
https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/c...da/?utm_source=featured_news&utm_campaign=usa Cardinal Müller: ‘False prophets’ will try to use Synod on Synodality to push UN’s 2030 Agenda ‘No person on earth can change, add to or take away from the Word of God,’ said Cdl Müller about the possibility of changes to Catholic teaching.
As Jacques Maritain emphasised, any ideas that involve social 'progress' come from Marx, not from the Gospel. Or, as Pope Benedict eloquently explained, such progressive ideas are no different to the devil's temptation of Our Lord in the desert, in which he offered to turn stones into bread. But, Christ's Kingdom is not of this world.
The Synod convening in October for six weeks. Gives time for earth events to take place. Kinda like when lightning struck the Vatican twice when Pope Benedict resigned . . .
Have you seen the latest Message from Medugorje, it is very, very striking and concerns the Church: https://www.medjugorje.ws/en/messages/latest-message Latest Medjugorje Message, September 25, 2023 “Dear children! I am calling you to strong prayer. Modernism wants to enter into your thoughts and steal from you the joy of prayer and of meeting with Jesus. That is why, my dear little children, renew prayer in your families, so that my motherly heart may be joyful as in the first days, when I had chosen you, and day and night prayer resounded -- and Heaven was not silent but abundantly bestowed peace and blessing on this place of grace. Thank you for having responded to my call. ” For the first time ever (as far as I know) Our Lady mentions the Heresy of Modernism and warns against it. She also says why , it kills prayer and mysticism generally. In other words it is of this world and not of the World to come. She also warns about this right on the Eve of the Synod on Synodality in October. Her condemnation could not be framed in stronger terms for, clearly what kills prayer kills the soul. I would guess this places the Vatican the the Holy Father in the Horns of a terrible dilemma . The Mother of God has given a message condemning their abominable goings on in Rome from the Largest Catholic Pilgrimage Site in the World and one which they themselves gave partial approval to. What can they do about it? They can cancel a Bishop Strickland ( although not without stirring a hornet's Nest) but how to cancel the Mother of God? A big, big problem. An even bigger problem is what the Mother of God may say next as the Synod on Synodality grinds forward. Dumping Medugorje, dumping the visionaries and canceling the Messages from the Mother of God would be no easy task. Tens of millions of devout Catholics from all over the World read these messages every day. Cancelling them might seem even more damaging than not cancelling them. What on Earth (or Hell) will they do now? They're really, really stuck with this one. Maybe Our Blessed Lady is from the USA? Maybe she can't keep up with the times? Maybe she needs accompaniment to get over her rigidity? Interesting times ahead. There will be many, many lights burning late into the night, not least in the Pop'es Luxury Hotel in Santa Marta. I'd love to be a fly on the Wall for that one. How to cancel Mary, the Mother of God without looking off colour,, top of the Agenda. Nothing can ever pass away from the words of Christ, nor can anything be changed in the doctrine which the Catholic Church received from Christ to guard, protect, and preach. -Bl. Pope Pius IX The nature of the Catholic faith is such that nothing can be added to it, nothing taken away. Either it is held in its entirety or it is rejected totally. This is the Catholic faith which, unless a man believes faithfully and firmly, he cannot be saved. -Pope Benedict XV
Actually she’s warned us against MODERNISM repeatedly at medjugorje. Check out WBTWs post on the Medjugorje thread.
Mario, they're in one of the volumes of his series of books, 'Jesus of Nazareth', but I can't recall precisely which one. I think it was the first. He dedicates an entire chapter to the Temptations of Christ in the desert, if I remember correctly. Marxism, like the devil, offers easy material solutions, but turns out to be just as fraudulent.
It's so stupid. He's condemning the Church as a wicked oppressor of women for two millenia...starting with Jesus Christ, who chose not to appoint any woman as a priest or apostle, despite having the most excellent women in Church history available to Him. It's a complete, adolescent-style category error. A woman cannot be a priest, not because she's inferior or regarded so, in any way. A woman cannot be a priest, because a priest has to be a man, as was Christ. Just as a man cannot have a baby, a woman cannot represent the Man, Christ in offering the Sacrifice. That's my understanding of it. Of course, all this gender madness is an attack on these Realities. But the gender campaign is mad and it has ultimately been devised for this very attack, in my opinion. Although he's advocating such stupidity, I can't believe this heretical bishop is that stupid. But didn't St Paul say that, in these times, men's wickedness would make them blind and that they would accept all kinds of craziness?
Yes those comforts proposed by Satan (aka the world) seem good in a worldly sense but are in fact evil. Christ's stern correction for Peter is also worth meditating. Peter was acting is the ways of the world telling Jesus he had to protect himself. We've heard that message daily for the past 3+ years! "From that time Jesus began to shew to his disciples, that he must go to Jerusalem, and suffer many things from the ancients and scribes and chief priests, and be put to death, and the third day rise again. 22 And Peter taking him, began to rebuke him, saying: Lord, be it far from thee, this shall not be unto thee. 23 Who turning, said to Peter: Go behind me, Satan, thou art a scandal unto me: because thou savourest not the things that are of God, but the things that are of men." His correction is triply sad because even Peter didn't understand after all that priviledged time spent with Jesus. Doesn't this seem prophetic for the Church? It's what we see now. We just have to buckle down and pray more for the Holy Spirit and for the Grace of perserverance.
