I honestly can't believe people get caught up on one word. If it's the end times or end of times, it's gonna be horrific. Chances of living through it may be slim to none. Will that one word really matter. Wow.

Agree. There’s no difference. It’s the end of an era or epoch, a major turning point in history. It’s not the end OF TIME, which would mean the end of the world. But no prophecy speaks of that. Quite the contrary: they say the triumph will come followed by a new era of peace!

Good. We in the USA need to stop consuming so much stuff. Unbridled materialism is not conducive to holiness. Poverty, chastity, obedience. He is right that the economy is breaking down... This is not a surprise. The city of 7 hills...Rome and by extension Western society will not go on indefinitely. But we do know Christ is with His Church until the end of the world. The Church will not be destroyed.
There are always reports from China about how awful things have gotten there. But I don't know how much to believe them or not. They often come from India and India hates China worse than poison. Thank God they are letting Cardinal Zen come to the funeral. An old saint and a living martyr.
