Russia is no friend of the free world, contrary to what, maybe a couple on this forum, want to believe. It to has unmasked itself to the moment our Lady of Fatima said it would. Its communistic facade within its dictatorship has all, but a few people fooled behind an outward appearance of Christian faith. It is and has "spread its communistic errors" all around the world and yes, well within the borders of once Christian countries all around Europe and the America's. Russia's outward appearance of true Christianity has me no more fooled than the false Christianity of half truths that Pope Francis promotes, where doctrines are being redefined to include what Christ, scriptures and 2000 years of teaching from Church councils and papal documents have rejected as true Christianity. Fake mercy. Fake Russia.

I find that the chief corrupter of Ireland, a very Catholic country up to not that long ago, has been the United States. Hollywood culture, contraception culture, the sexual revolution-stemming first from Kinsey and itself a primary cause of the priestly abuse crisis-abortion, same-sex marriage, divorce, conspicuous consumption, all have had their source in the US and have been magnified through the media and diaspora relationships. Currently, there are tens of thousands of Irish employed in Ireland in highly-paid IT jobs, courtesy of liberal Silicon Valley companies whose influence on our politicians and media is enormous. I suspect these companies played a large part behind the scenes of our infamous ssm referendum and are now similarly implicated in the massive push to legalise abortion here. In contrast, the more than seventy years of Soviet propaganda had a negligible effect on Ireland. By their fruits shall you know them.

In my opinion, the human race and particularly the Church neglected the message of Fatima for far too long and the errors of Russia, like any cancer, metastasised to the West and have become far more deadly due to a culturally dominant host, the US in particular.

I believe it would be very mistaken to describe the modern world as a black and white goodie United States versus a Russian baddie. For example, why is it that Russia is one of the few countries outside of Africa and the Mohammedan nations to resist the homosexual power play? Russia is also trying to improve its reproduction rate, unlike a West that can only sponsor abortion, contraception, barren lifestyles and population substitution.

There may be charlatans in the Russian Orthodox Church, we Catholics have plenty of those too, but one hears of very few Orthodox bishops and clergy questioning their doctrines in the manner that exists in the West. We may be in schism, but the Russian Orthodox Church, which suffered so much from Russia's errors, deserves better than to be described as 'fake'.

The below is a New York Times article by their Rome Bureau Chief, Jason Horowitz. The NYT, WashPost and the entire Global Elite have a problem with Traditional Christians and Traditional USA supporters of The Constitution/Bill of Rights. Thus we Traditionalists have in the past/present been/are labeled “Religion & Gun Clingers”, “Basket of Deplorables” or “Hard-Line” Christians … Hard-Line in the Liberal Mind meaning Pro-God in the Public Square, Pro-Life, Pro-Man/Woman Marriage and adherence to the core beliefs of our Religion. Pope Francis and Friends continue their confusing and inexplicable “Program” of division and siding with the likes and agenda of the NYT/Ilk. The NYT/Ilk, is apparently supporting the Pope and his “Program” … Oh! … it will only be support until The Church is damaged and divided to the point where the NYT/Ilk can attempt to destroy, piecemeal, what’s left!
“The enemy of my enemy is my friend” is an ancient proverb. I could also infer that “The friend of my enemy is my enemy”:(

They are not alone. The NY Slime is garbage and I hate giving them even the ad revenue they acquire via page visits. Their articles are always slanted toward destroying that which is good and erecting their version of mercy and social justice which has no room for God or anyone who truly believes in him.

We all know however what our Lord said about his church.

The NYT vision of mercy and social justice is one that applies only to those fashionable groups who at any given time are fortunate enough to receive the favour extended from its will to power, and more particularly that of its masters. Today the perverts are highly favoured, tomorrow they will be sacrificed to the Mohammedans.

[On a side-note, I recently read a judicious article which made the point that 'Islam' translates as 'the true religion' and 'Muslim' as the 'follower of the true religion'. The article made the logical suggestion that perhaps Christians ought not bestow such titles to the followers of the false prophet, Mohammed. As a result, I have begun to use the term 'Mohammedan'].

Soros To Make Ireland First Pro-Abortion Country
    [IMG]
Hungarian government poster portraying financier George Soros and saying "Don't let George Soros have the last laugh" is seen at an underground stop in Budapest, Hungary July 11, 2017.
    August 02, 2017

The Catholic News Agency broke with the information first last year in an article telling of George Soros' plan to use Ireland as a prototype to upend anti-abortion laws in Catholic countries around the world. At the time CNA reported: “With one of the most restrictive abortion laws in the world, a win there could impact other strongly Catholic countries in Europe, such as Poland, and provide much needed proof that change is possible, even in highly conservative places,” . Today that plan seems more defined after leaked information reveals more details. The agenda seems to no longer be hiding behind the "pro-choice" title, now it boldly seeks to create "pro-abortion" countries.

Breitbart News reports that DCLeaks.com revealed last year that billionaire investor George Soros has been using his Open Society Foundation (OSF) to turn Ireland – what Planned Parenthood refers to as the “jewel in the crown of the pro-life movement” – into a pro-abortion country.

The New York-based Open Society Foundations’ proposed 2016-2019 strategy for its Women’s Rights Program appears to be among the documents published by the website DCLeaks.com. One of the program’s three themes is enabling access to legal abortion, including through efforts to repeal Ireland’s Eighth Amendment to its constitution. The Eighth Amendment – passed by voters in 1983 – instituted a constitutional ban on abortion in Ireland. It states:

The State acknowledges the right to life of the unborn and, with due regard to the equal right to life of the mother, guarantees in its laws to respect, and, as far as practicable, by its laws to defend and vindicate that right.

The leaked documents claim that OSF planned three years of strategies to “stem, mitigate and reverse the tide of fetal personhood laws and constitutional amendments” and to generate “a robust set of organizations advancing and defending sexual and reproductive rights and injecting new thinking/strategy into the field.”

Additionally, the documents indicate the Soros foundation saw the legalization of same-sex marriage in Ireland in 2015 as providing “valuable and timely opportunities to advance the campaign” against the pro-life constitutional amendment.

“The Open Society Foundations work in many countries to promote full and equal rights for women, including sexual and reproductive autonomy,” an OSF spokesperson told CNA, describing the leak as part of “an aggressive crackdown on civil society and human rights activists that is taking place globally.”

According to the leaked documents, Soros’s foundation granted Amnesty International Ireland 137,000, the Irish Family Planning Association (IFPA) – an affiliate of International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) – 132,000, and the Abortion Rights Campaign (ARC) at least 25,000 “to work collectively on a campaign to repeal Ireland’s constitutional amendment granted equal rights to an implanted embryo as the pregnant woman (referred to as ‘fetal personhood’).”

However, Ireland’s Electoral Act of 1997 prohibits the use of overseas funding for political campaigns in the country. Following public outcry, Ireland’s Standards in Public Office Commission (SIPO) conducted an investigation into the donated funds to the Ireland-based abortion rights groups.

In an exclusive interview with Breitbart News, Niamh Ui Bhriain (pronounced Neeve O’Brien), a spokeswoman for the Life Institute in Ireland is quoted saying:

“Following a SIPO investigation only the ARC were obliged to hand back the amount deemed to be political, 25K. The other groups argued that their campaign was not political, which is preposterous given they want to push through a change to our Constitution.”

    She continues:

It remains unclear as to why SIPO allowed Amnesty and the IFPA to keep almost 300,000 in political funding. However, an equally pressing question is the revelation that this funding is the tip of the iceberg, because almost 20 million has been poured into pro-abortion coffers in Ireland in the past decade to soften up Ireland to repeal the right to life of unborn children.

    The Irish Catholic also observed:

That an organization calling itself the Abortion Rights Campaign (ARC) should ever have denied that it was engaged in political activities seems, on the face of it, absurd, and it is hardly surprising that it was ultimately forced to face this reality. What’s more interesting, in some ways, is that Amnesty International Ireland escaped the same fate.

Soros’s OSF has been joined in the pro-abortion Ireland campaign by U.S. billionaire Chuck Feeney.

Ui Bhriain wrote at the Life Institute in 2015 that the influx of cash from the wealthy social justice activists turned small, struggling pro-abortion organizations into powerhouses:

The Irish Council for Civil Liberties were a tiny group raising less than 9000 a year, but $11.3 million dollars of Feeney’s money transformed them into a major abortion campaigner. He gave $5.1 million to Amnesty Ireland (who for many, many years had a neutral position on abortion) and, hey presto, now they are rolling out an expensive abortion push, spending lavishly on corporate-style events and music festivals to demand abortion be legalized, as if killing babies was a human ‘right’.

Another $1.1 million was handed to the National Women’s Council of Ireland, who immediately upped their game in pushing abortion, lobbying politicians and holding pro-abortion conferences, though they were careful to take time out to attack women who publicly said that they regretted their abortions.

The handy sum of $236,850 was also forked out to the Family Planning Association in the north of Ireland to fund a court case to challenge a ban on abortion there – FPA are an associate of the ghastly Planned Parenthood Federation who have been caught on camera arranging the sale of the body parts of babies they have aborted

Then there’s the Centre for Reproductive Rights, a massively wealthy outfit who raised 25 million in 2014 alone from the likes of Bill Gates and the Ford Foundation, and who are up to their necks in pushing abortion in Ireland.

Ui Bhriain notes that – in addition to outright direct cash to groups and organizations – the wealthy donors are also providing funding for legal cases. She added that now she and her colleagues are expecting a referendum to abolish the Eighth Amendment next spring.

  11. This article linked to today on Spirit Daily about Near Death Experiences, like so many others covered and written about, may give a clue about the Illumination of Conscience at the time of the Universal Warning....its real purpose and just how one's outlook about one's faults can differ greatly from God's. Like the NDE of the Jewish teen, Natan....of course that from the Jewish perspective....these experiences relate how little things mean a lot in the great scheme of things. We get a different, perhaps Godly and more Truthful, interpretation of our thoughts and actions than our own rationale.

This individual had been an Atheist.....it then seems such experiences tie into how one would interpret things (perhaps angel being called "guide") from one's own outlook or experiences in life.

A "universal" or "divine" consciousness responded to Rynes, and then a guide took her through a life review of how she'd treated others, exploring select incidents, not always the ones she would've expected, in depth, she said.

"I was basically experiencing me through them, the pain or disappointment they were experiencing as a result of my negative interaction or negative word," she said. Rynes was also shown when she was helpful to others, such as showing kindness to a King Soopers clerk, she said.

"Some things that seemed very minor came up as very hurtful to the recipient, like saying nasty words to someone at work one day when I was in a bad place. I had an opportunity to lift that person up, but instead I cut them down," she said.

  12. More "Chip" news:

Dawn of the bionic age: Body hackers let chips get under their skin

For years, owners have implanted microchips in their pets to recover them if they go astray. Farmers use them in cattle. Now, humans are experimenting with subdermal microchips, which are the size of a large grain of rice, to make modern life easier. (sorry, couldn't get rid of ad if it shows up)

Ever so slowly, a trend that began in the hacker community is moving toward the mainstream. A Wisconsin firm that specializes in designing company break rooms, Three Square Market, announced last month that it was offering implanted chips to all its employees.

The chips will allow employees to “make purchases in the company’s break room market, open doors, log in to computers, use copy machines, among other things,” it said in a statement.

    .....
Many hackers gathered here for a recent global hacker conference, DefCon 2017, view implants as a way to interact seamlessly with a technological world and to enhance human senses. They await the day when microchips give humans the ability for echolocation, and to see infrared and ultraviolet light, enhance the capacity to smell, sense direction, even feel vibrations that reveal movement in the stock market.

Yes, this is inevitable today. Working in technology for so many years I know many people who welcome this and have been longing for these things. Once the door is opened it will be a hard one to shut, those of us who choose not to participate in this will be treated and seen by others as the Amish of our times.

Strange how two people reading the same judgement can arrive at different conclusions.

From what I read, the crucial delay was when the doctors decided to use an untried treatment on Charlie but need to wait until the Ethics Committee met and decided whether or not to permit it. Charlie's condition deteriorate so much while they were waiting for the Committee to meet that the plan was scuppered. Wealthy parents wouldn't have waited around for any committee meeting. Their child would have been moved to a private facility if he wasn't already in one.

The judgement was full of praise for the NHS and GOSH, even to the extent that the doctor calling the parents a spanner in the works was explained away with guesswork on the judge's part. The GOSH chief witness displayed self-serving cultural snobbery. Perhaps what you called anti-intellectualism is actually anti-interllectual snobbery and elitism. Lord knows there's enough of it about, not least in the medical profession.

It isn't whataboutery to point out that there are plenty of missionaries on the ground belieing the supposedly Catholic friendly mission statement of the NHS. I appreciate that the NHS is a sacred cow in the UK but it is far from perfect and the staff don't work for nothing. Plenty of them are more than willing to perform abortions and will be even more willing to practice euthanasia, even on children, when it is legalised. Some UK doctors are willing to abort babies simply because the parents wanted a child of a different sex. That's supposed to be illegal but doctors do it with impunity. It's no coincidence that the GOSH legal representative supports euthanasia.

The fact is that every nation benefits from a good health care system. Both private and socialised systems have their pluses and minuses. Both are limited by budgetary constraints set by what the market is willing to bear. In a socialised system the politicians always have an eye on how tax rates will affect the next election. The geriatric and psychiatric branches of healthcare always suffer while funds are allocated to other services. In a private insurance based system, the insurance companies need to set competitive policy rates and benefits while watching their profit margins. It's a toss-up which is a better system. One gives the customer no choice but to pay and little choice on which service is prioritised. The other gives the customer choice but limits the service to the price the individual is willing to pay for coverage.

Ex-Catholic bishop of Phoenix accused of sex abuse of boy

    • By jacques billeaud, associated press
    PHOENIX — Aug 4, 2017, 3:56 AM ET
    [IMG]

A former bishop who led the Roman Catholic church in metro Phoenix during a worldwide child sexual abuse scandal has been accused of molesting a young boy 35 years ago.

Retired Bishop Thomas O'Brien is accused in a lawsuit of sexually abusing the boy on several occasions at parishes in Phoenix and Goodyear from 1977 to 1982. The Diocese of Phoenix says O'Brien denies the allegation.

O'Brien, now 81, led the diocese in Phoenix as it became embroiled in a global scandal that rocked the Catholic church after allegations surfaced in Boston about pedophile priests going unpunished.

The bishop acknowledged in a 2003 immunity deal that he let church employees accused of sex abuse continue to have contact with children. Weeks after the deal, O'Brien resigned as bishop after he was arrested in the hit-and-run death of a pedestrian.

O'Brien's accuser says the clergyman sexually abused him when he was a child and he had suppressed his memories of it, said Tim Hale, his lawyer.

The accuser, who is now 47 and lives in the Tucson area, started having flashbacks of the abuse in September 2014 when preparing for his son's baptism into the Catholic church, Hale said.

"It has turned his life upside down," Hale said, explaining that his client has suffered profound emotional distress.

Hale said his client's allegation is being investigated by the Phoenix Police Department, which refused to comment.

The diocese issued a statement saying O'Brien denies the accusation and that he was never assigned to the schools and parishes where the abuse is alleged to have occurred. The statement also said the diocese informed prosecutors about the allegation immediately after learning of it in September 2016.

O'Brien's 2003 immunity agreement said a grand jury investigating church sex abuse allegations at the time didn't find evidence that the bishop had engaged in sexual misconduct.

Amanda Jacinto, a spokeswoman for the Maricopa County Attorney's Office, said the immunity deal will remain in place, meaning the bishop could not be prosecuted for letting church employees suspected of sex abuse be around children.

But Jacinto said the agreement would not prevent prosecutors from bringing a case against O'Brien if there's evidence that he sexually abused a child.

O'Brien, who served as Phoenix's bishop for 21 years, resigned in June 2003 after being accused of striking and killing 43-year-old Jim Reed with his car.

The bishop didn't stop to help Reed or report the accident to police but told investigators that he didn't realize he had hit a person.

He said he thought he had hit a dog or cat or that someone had thrown a rock at his car. Prosecutors said O'Brien tried to have his windshield fixed.

He was sentenced to probation and 1,000 hours of community service after being convicted of leaving the scene of a fatal accident.

John C. Kelly, an attorney representing the Diocese of Phoenix, declined to comment on the lawsuit and the allegations against O'Brien.

Yes Don, same for me: it is quite difficult to understand those long teachings because there is soo much but this priest explains it in a simple way and the book that he wrote, has to be the same as a lady in Canada told me yesterday on the phone. That is why I would like to have it. But the book in French is available in Canada (I suppose also in the USA) but not yet in Europe but it will be in September, she told me. The titel in French is: "Entrer et vivre dans le Royaume de la Divine Volonté" - Fr Ghislain Roy. They are busy to translate it in English but I do not know if it is already done and available for Canada/USA.
Father Roy was invited here in Belgium by friends to organise a retreat but after he gave a retreat in Luxembourg, the archeveque forbid him to come back to Europe ! This priest is persecuted for the good things he is doing ! Now I certainly would like to have his book ! He appears to have received a spiritual gift too. I already started by saying that phrase as told by the priest in the video every morning and likewise before every act (it should become a habit !) and the rest will come (like the order of his book). Jesus in your Divine Will, I love you ! :)
Does anyone of you know priest Ghislain Roy ?
