Dear XXXXX, Thanks for listening. I'm glad what I wrote back in 2007 helped you. If I got the cause wrong but the timing and severity right, well, as someone who doesn't even do this as a hobby I'll take 2 out of 3. In a sense, it's like eating an elephant: it doesn't matter if you start at the trunk or with one of the legs, eventually the elephant gets eaten. As for your advisor saying things are looking good, he's right. He's also very, very wrong. Remember back in 2013, when a sinkhole opened up under some guy's home in Florida and swallowed both the house and the guy? I'll wager that if someone had done an appraisal of the house a month before, they would have found that the house was in excellent shape and a good value. Even if they had taken soundings to check the quality of the land the house was built on, they probably would not have seen any indication that a sinkhole would form there one month later. We (America) are like that house. Our sinkhole will be all the paper that the government is printing to pay for all the programs it's trying to run. That paper is debt that is being sold to other countries, especially China. China is the largest owner of American debt in the world. It's to China's benefit to buy this debt, because right now America is China's biggest market. Working at Target, I see just how many things America buys that are "MADE IN CHINA". So what happens to all that debt when America suddenly stops being China's biggest trading partner? This is the elephant that we're having for dinner. And like the question of which part to eat first, it doesn't matter because it will all get eaten, somehow, someway, sooner or later. I happen to believe that it's going to be sooner, much, much sooner. Specifically, I believe it will happen in early or mid October of this year. WHY it will happen then is a question that has WAY too many answers. I've been reading and listening to a lot of VIP (Very Important Prognosticators) talk about the coming collapse. Some of these are internet sources that I might use for tips but would never trust when making final decisions; others are respected commentators that I hear on NPR. Each describes a different tipping point (such as stocks that have become rapidly overvalued as they did back in 2007), but all of them point to a common time when all these lines on graphs converge, and that is late September to mid October. Given the amount of magical thinking that seems to drive a lot of the stock market (as in, all these stockbrokers getting their clients to clap their hands and say, "I believe! I believe!") the simple fact that you have so many people banging this drum about the timing has to be considered another grain of sand on the tipping point scale. My view on this matter is highly eschatological (try working that word into a casual conversation sometime), and that's the stuff I'm going to be covering. Fasten your seatbelts. We're in for a bumpy ride. If you haven't heard of or have discounted some of the information, you should still find and read the sources. (I can provide you links later if you have specific questions, but there are just too many to give you now.) Lots of people do believe, and lots of people will be basing stock purchasing and selling decisions on what they believe will happen (see above reference to magical thinking and hand clapping.) First of all is Rabbi Jonathan Cahn. Last year he wrote a book called "The Harbinger". If you don't want to read the whole book there are plenty of summaries and commentaries of various quality on the Internet. In short, Rabbi Cahn has drawn an amazing parallel between Isaiah 9:10 and America today. This year he wrote "The Mystery of the Shemitah". The Shemitah is the divine command where every 7 years the land is supposed to lie fallow and all debts are cancelled. Regardless of your belief in the application of the Shemitah to modern America, the fact is that every 7 years on the 29th of Elul on the Hebrew calendar, the New York Stock Exchange has suffered major losses. (Oct. 29, 1929 is an example of such a shemitah year.) The 29th of Elul is the last day of the Hebrew calendar. The next day, 1 Tishri, is the Feast of Rosh HaShanah, or the Feast of Trumpets and the first day of the calendar. This year, 29 Elul 5775 begins at sunset on 13 Sep 2015, and 1 Tishri 5776 begins at sunset on 14 Sep 2015. If you follow the Shemitah, this coming year in the Hebrew calendar (5776) is the beginning of a double Shemitah period. After 7 periods of 7 years (49 years), there is a shemitah on the 50th year, during which all captives are freed and all slaves are released or must be kept on as hirelings. This is in addition to the other requirements of a regular Shemitah year. 1 Tishrei 5777 begins at sundown 03 Oct 2016 and goes until 21 Sep 2017. (Remember the year 5777 -- we'll come back to it later.) Another event is going to occur in late September that frankly has me scared silly. France is scheduled to introduce a resolution in the United Nations to unilaterally create the State of Palestine based on the 1967 borders of Israel. IOW, the UN is going to force Israel to give up a lot of territory. The Security Council will consider it after the new session of the UN opens on Sept. 15. Considering how much Obama hates Israel, the US won't veto the resolution. Note that Israel isn't being consulted about any of this. The last time there was such a major repartitioning without the input of the partitioned nation was Czechoslovakia and the Munich Agreement of 1938, guaranteeing "peace for our time". Given the current makeup of the government of the Palestinian Authority (PA), I believe that within a week of the passage of the resolution, there will be an incident that will "force" the new State of Palestine to declare war against Israel. If I were a betting man I'd bet that the incident will be Israel launching an attack against Iran. This will be after Obama will have signed some kind of treaty with Iran that will also "guarantee peace for our time." Obama will be disgruntled at Israel's disobedience. Netanyahu will launch some sort of attack on Iran to attempt to destroy their nuclear facilities. You can read about the war and the participants in Psalm 83. Just remember that "Assyria" is NOT the modern State of Syria. Biblical Assyria occupied most of the northern part of Iran, and like Assyria in Psalm 83, Iran is providing support to all the actors currently attacking Israel. The Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas, and (now) Fatah are all funded and under the direction of the Iranian Security Services. Remember that Hamas is still firing missiles from Gaza (which will be part of this new state) into Israel an average of once a day. Once Palestine is formed the question will be how soon Hamas/Fatah will also start launching missiles into Tel Aviv. Of course all the surrounding states will join with Palestine in this declaration of war. Of course this war will go badly for Palestine. In fact, Palestine may go down in history as the shortest-lived nation ever. Psalm 83 describes the war and its participants. Not only will Israel conquer Palestine, but it will move its borders across the Jordan River and about 10 miles into Jordan. It's possible that Jordan may at this time become a protectorate of Israel. What scares me is the very real possibility that Obama will order the American military to supply arms and munitions to Palestine to be used against Israel, as a way of punishing Netanyahu. In the past, America has always (eventually) supported Israel, but not this time. This lack of support will prove to be America's downfall. You can expect oil prices to skyrocket -- they always do when there's a war in the Middle East. So it could be a massive sudden rise in oil prices that will be the last grain of sand on the tipping point. America has been developing oil fields and while it's not quite self-sufficient in PRODUCING oil, it is lagging far behind in REFINING oil. In the past few decades, there have been numerous oil refineries that have been closed down, and no new ones have come online in over 50 years. According to the US Energy Information Administration, in 1984 there were 300 refineries in the US; now there are less than 150 with 10 of those currently idle. If there's a disruption in the supply chain anywhere (as happened when fires damaged two refineries in California, leading to a major surge in gasoline prices there, almost a dollar per gallon), expect supply of oil products to suffer, leading to some sort of inflation. (... continued) We're already seeing inflation in food prices, as well as some rationing. When I was on food stamps 7 years ago, I got $200 per month and was able to use $20 of that to buy food for the food bank as part of my tithe. Nowadays, I'm getting the same $200 and I'm barely making it through the month. In the past year, beef prices have doubled: with the drought in Texas, many cattle producers had to slaughter herds including breeder stock since there was no grass for grazing and they couldn't afford to feed the cattle. The drought may be broken (for now) but many of the producers had what remained of their herds swept away in the floods. In Iowa and Minnesota alone over 140 MILLION egg-laying chickens and turkeys have been killed to prevent the spread of the avian flu, leading to a major drop in the supply of eggs. H-E-B grocery stores across Texas have begun limiting (rationing) purchases to 3 cartons per customer. (Does XXXXXXXX have any city ordinances regulating backyard chicken coops? You may want to review them.) Of course the tipping point in the stock market may not be a natural disaster like flooding or a major outbreak of tornadoes. Imagine what the reaction would be if a second Bernie Madoff-type Ponzi scheme were discovered. (I know, I know, it's highly unlikely, given the number of bad stock brokers who went to prison and paid massive fines, and how the rest of the industry now stands chastened. Still ...) I know I'm being a little ball of sunshine. I just hate the lack of full disclosure when someone says that "the stock market is just fine and we've fully recovered from the losses of 2008" without revealing that we are well underway to duplicating conditions that lead to the crash in 2008. Yes, changes in regulations may have made some things stronger, but putting a new coat of paint and new windows on that house would not have prevented it from being sucked into a sinkhole. These are all the things that can and may put a strain on the financial system, any one of which the system can handle (mostly) but what if more than one happens? So what are the Biblical events that can destroy America's economy? There is a truism that Biblical scholars have noted: that which is done to Israel will be done to its oppressors in return. Nations that invaded and enslaved Israel were, in turn, invaded and enslaved, with the new invaders liberating the Jews to return to Israel. The Roman army that was responsible for burning down the Second Temple was later reassigned to a cushy post as a reward for their good work. They were responsible for guarding one of the top pleasure spots in the Empire, a city called Pompeii. All members of that group that burned the Temple were themselves burned by the erupting Mt. Vesuvius. G_D, in Scripture, warns very clearly against harming "the apple of His eye." If America joins with those nations attempting to divide Israel, America will itself become divided. Just for giggles, I once took the data from the CIA Factbook on Israel and calculated how much area the PA takes as a percentage of the total area of Israel, including the West Bank and Gaza. My back-of-the-envelope calculation came up with about 24% of the total area. So this UN resolution in September will be trying to remove 24% of the State of Israel from Israel. Keep that figure in mind. Let's now jump to some really weird predictions, prophecies, and dreams. About 8 years ago, a person on a board I frequented posted her dream. (This board, which doesn't exist anymore, was dedicated to discussing the works of Joel C. Rosenberg. He is an author who writes fiction and non-fiction about the Middle East, and regularly gives speeches to the Pentagon about what is happening and expected to happen in the Middle east. I strongly recommend reading "Epicenter 2.0" for a good overview on the history and current events in Israel and the surrounding countries.) This person posted her dream and asked for comments. In her dream, she was taken above the land so she could see for miles. She knew, although she couldn't say why, the land was Eastern Arkansas. It was autumn, in the evening close to sunset, when the ground started shaking and she saw the ground collapsing under her like a zipper, going from west to east. The land collapsed in a tear about half a mile wide and 10 miles long. She then heard a voice telling her twice to warn the people, and to pray. She posted this early on Friday evening, and I didn't have anything better to do, so I figured I spend half an hour or so researching things and then tell her not to worry. Three hours later, I sat back and had an "Oh, shit!" moment. Since then, everything I've learned has simply confirmed that moment. I was able to get a good handle on the location based on her descriptions. Some of those descriptions involved formations that aren't easily visible from the ground, certainly not from any road, but can be seen from the air. I should note that she was in her 70's at the time and not the sort of person who would go rappelling down cliff faces, etc. Since she posted the dream there has been a fault, linked to the New Madrid fault system, discovered in the area where this collapse would take place. A few months later I read an alleged locution from an alleged locutionist in Minnesota. (Her alleged locutions have not been approved by the local bishop but they have received the imprimatur declaring they are free from doctrinal error.) This particular locution described the dust rising from the ground after the wheat has sprouted but before it is grown. Based on this and other details in the description, we know this: videos from the Haiti earthquake show dust rising from the ground as the earthquake begins but before the cameras start shaking, so the vision is describing an earthquake; based on the condition of the ground the wheat is winter wheat, not spring wheat, so this event occurs in autumn. The average planting time for winter wheat in Arkansas places this event in early to mid October. I spent the rest of the weekend researching the New Madrid Fault and the area that would be affected by a major (magnitude 7+) earthquake. While lots of articles talked about the destruction that would occur on the Mississippi itself and the cities on the river, few of the articles discussed the damage that would occur in the Ohio River valley. One map I found showed the areas that were damaged by a magnitude 6.8 earthquake that took place in 1895. The area under the affected region isn't solid hard rock like it is in southern California; it's a mix of softer rock and hard-packed dirt, so ground liquefaction is a major issue. This will happen starting with a magnitude 4 earthquake or aftershock, not so much for less powerful earthquakes. The affected region (magnitude 4+) went from the southern tip of Missouri all the way down the Mississippi River halfway to the Louisiana border; it went up the Mississippi to the southern tip of Iowa; and it followed the Missouri river about half-way across the state of Missouri. The biggest shocker, though, was the damage that went to the east. All the disaster scenarios I had read before focused on the Mississippi River, what with St. Louis and Memphis being on the river. But the damage map followed the Ohio River all the way from the Mississippi River almost to the Pennsylvania border. Understand that a quake of that size (at least 7+) will alter the course of the river and damage every single bridge, levy, lock and dam up and down both the Mississippi and Ohio Rivers. There will be no traffic on either river until the Army Corp of Engineers has surveyed the changes and dredged out a new course. In addition, all the bridges will be closed until they can be examined for damage and repaired if necessary. No big rigs or trains hauling freight across the country. What's more, there is a marine transportation highway called the Tenn-Tom Waterway. I had never heard of it before. It's a series of canals, locks, and dams that link the Ohio, Tennessee, and Tombigbee Rivers for 234 miles and helps make Mobile, Alabama a major shipping port. The damage that would prevent using the Mississippi and Ohio rivers for transportation, as well as bridges crossing them, would also affect the northern access points for the Tenn-Tom. So not only would farmers not be able to ship their harvest from the upper Great Plains to the international markets, but all industrial traffic going to and from Pennsylvania and Alabama and then to the world would be cut off. Oh, by the way, there are 15 nuclear reactors in the affected areas. Can you say "Fukishima times 15?" Also, this is assuming a 6.8 magnitude quake. More intense earthquakes will result in greater damage: an earthquake between 7.5 and 8 would have a damage area that reaches up north past Dubuque and east to include Chicago. (continued ...)
(... continued) If you have your Wal-Mart Road Atlas handy, you can trace the path of destruction: Assuming the earthquake in New Madrid doesn't set off sympathetic earthquakes in the faults running under Washington, DC and New York City, you can send traffic up I-95 on the east coast, then transship across Pennsylvania through any undamaged portions of I-80. Problem is, I'll bet I-80 will be closed at Davenport until it can be examined and declared safe. If not, you'll have to send stuff north to Highway 20 between Illinois and Dubuque, IA. I can tell you, the bridge in Dubuque may or may not be able to handle the 100-150% increase in traffic. That means going even further north, possibly up to Minneapolis-St. Paul to cross the Mississippi. Reverse the process to ship stuff to Nashville or Atlanta, if access hasn't been cut off with collapsed bridges and all. Better plan on gasoline prices tripling, at least. Not only will there be greater demand for gas to handle increased distances for shipping, but many of our oil refineries will be in the affected areas. Assuming they haven't been destroyed, how will we get the product to consumers? BTW, when I calculated the area of the states in the Southeast that would be cut off from the rest of the union because of this disaster, it was 24% of the area of the continental United States. The same amount as what we would be attempting to cut off from the State of Israel. This is why I believe the New Madrid Fault will go sometime in October IF the US supports the division of Israel, and IF the US supports this new state in fighting Israel. I'm not sure what the Congress could do to prevent supplying munitions to Palestine -- the President IS the Commander in Chief of the military, and I'm not sure what the Supreme Court would do if Congress tried to block the action. And I'm not sure if the President would obey the Supreme Court if it ruled against him. By the time such a ruling would come, initial shipments might already be inside Palestine, making the question moot. A natural disaster the size of the New Madrid Fault going would lead to the collapse of the American financial system. The stock market would crash, there would not be enough money to buy the materials needed to rebuild, and in the end China will be demanding that we make good on all this paper we sold them. At the very least, it will mark the end of America as a global power, unable to project force in a reasonable way, for the next generation. At the very worst, we will be unable to resist invasion, especially if it's a nice invasion at first. I'm thinking of the Chinese taking over huge swaths of land in the US as a way of settling our bill with them, eventually setting up enclaves where Chinese law, not American law, would rule. Or they might insist on our paying our bills with food, not just our surplus but providing food for China keeping a small amount for ourselves -- think Ireland during the potato famine. Or they may demand we send them workers, especially female workers. Like I said, I'm a little ball of sunshine. I've simply come to realize that no matter how bad you think things can get, it can always get worse. That's why I try to follow the advice of St. Padre Pio, who famously said when asked about the End Times: "Pray, hope, and don't worry!" Love, P.S. I had said towards the beginning of the letter to keep the Hebrew year "5777" in mind. In Jewish numerology, "777" is the seal of G_D; "5" represents the hand, so the year 5777 can be considered "the Hand of G_D". Because of the way Hebrew is written to avoid using the name of G_D, 5777 can also be considered to be "the Hand of Miriam" (Mary). In Islam, it would be called "the Hand of Fatima." The 100th anniversary of the Apparitions at Fatima are in a year and a half, in 2017, or in the Hebrew year 5777. Interesting, no? I also feel the need to add this caveat: as I told someone on the Catholic Answers Forum, I've been talking about the New Madrid Fault with different people for 7 years. If it actually happened this October, no one will be more surprised than me!
This is interesting ... a bunch of Folks "Out-There" seem to think that somethings "going-down" in late 2015. I live in the projected outer damage ring of a New Madrid Fault earthquake .. & thus added earthquake coverage on my home policy 10 years ago ... which will be worthless if the economy collapses I also believe that those who abandon/harm the Jews/Israel will regret it ... in the USA we have been rejecting God for 50+ years and recently rejecting Israel ... mostly brought to US by powerful cogs within the Democrat Party ... a Party that still receives near 50% support from "Catholics". I simply don't know, exactly, what (when) will happen but you don't have to be a Rocket Scientist to figure out that somethings gotta give and soon .... there are simply NO positive indicators in the USA or World-Wide!!! Pray and Prepare! ...... and ID other people of Faith in your community!! GOD SAVE ALL HERE!!
