I just watched this very short 10 minute video about a mini riot at a public Church service held in a park in Seattle recently. It was interesting because really what happened was that this group of Protestants simply wanted to hold a service in a park and were at once furiously attacked by a large group of protestors. There was a variety of people, homosexuals, transvestites, woke ,antifa and so on. But what really struck me is that they were furious and wanting to hurt or even kill people simply for preaching the Gospel / This is a warning to us all about what is heading in all our direction. Acts 16:22 The crowd joined in the attack against Paul and Silas, and the magistrates ordered them to be stripped and beaten with rods.
If I were to meet a complete stranger on a train I would be fairly careful on whether express my views on a wide range of issues these days. Being a Catholic can get you into all kinds of problems with these people. They are very, very qucik indeed to get angry and take offense.
The thing that strikes me is that Christians are non violent and really kind and loving people if they are really living the Gospel. So this kind of rage and anger directed towards them seems irrational and demonic. You get the same kind of thing in the New Testament. Spooky, errie, demonic.
