hello mario peace and grace to you and your family; I believe that the wheat and the tares begin to grow and develop from baptism as the initial sacrament of the Church ;so when someone breaks the dogmas and creeds of the Church he becomes the mystical body of the malignant; which seems to me evidenced in this passage:

    1 John 2:18,19

18 "Children, this is the final hour; you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, and now many Antichrists have already come; from this we know that it is the final hour.

19 They have gone from among us, but they never really belonged to us; if they had belonged to us, they would have stayed with us. But this was to prove that not one of them belonged to us."

the mystical body of Christ would shelter only those who believe in the dogmas and apostolic creeds of the Church and who, although often great sinners, recognize the regenerating power of the sacraments.

Interesting read. I think only time will tell if the Pope and Bishop in white are actually two persons and possibly be Francis and Benedict. This idea is quite interesting, so is the idea that somehow Francis is being allowed to take the role of pope but not be the true pope by a divine order by God to Benedict. The 3rd secret and what was spelled out is quite plausible and fits pretty well on the surface but something feels off about it. It's attempting to imply the church is it's leaders, even if they are heretical. The church is much more than it's leaders. They are only place holders of the faith and morals that have been taught for 2000 years. This doesn't mean that they can't "seemingly" destroy the church and harm the faithful in a grave way.

The article is attempting to sway true believers into thinking they may/will need to leave the church since it is/will become the church of satan. This attempted division is not from God or inspired by the Holy Spirit IMO. We are equipped, with the Holy Spirit to discern right and wrong, faith and morals from unchanging church teachings and our own consciences and Jesus will judge us on our thoughts, words and actions (or lack of). But are we equipped to judge whether a pope is authentic or if the church is no longer the church? Jesus didn't grant us this power and it leans toward us vacating the humility and obedience we are called by Christ to hold. To me, I have to trust Jesus words saying "the gates of hell will not prevail against my church". This doesn't mean it won't be seemingly destroyed but I trust the pope, even if he wanted too, could not change church doctrine stating things like gay marriage is authentic, there are multiple genders, Jesus is no longer present in the Eucharist etc. God isn't going to make it impossible for good, simple Catholics to discern the path forward.

The church is ours not those that try to destroy it. Those bishops in Germany voting to change doctrine are leaving the church and we can only watch, pray and stay faithful as God's permissive Will takes place. Everything happening seem like it must happen, thank God for that.

I read it twice. Quite interesting for sure. I'm in no position to say Francis isn't the authentic pope but, if in the future, it was revealed as so by some official means, I wouldn't be counted among the surprised. :)

Feel the same. Nothing shocks me anymore. Again it’s about a spiritual war against the Church that goes back centuries. And the evil one wants more than anything to destroy the Church from within. Why wouldn’t he want to sit and control the Church from Peter’s seat? Wasn’t Judas jealous of Peter? I do believe we will have another Martin Luther, and this time, he will deceive even the elect.

The Church is the body of Christ, not the institution of buidings on Earth. Pope JPII warned about anti-church and a confrontation between good & evil before he got shot. Fr Malachi Martin warned about the leadership of the institution we call Church getting taken over, but the body of Christ is the people devoted to Christ, not the buildings or infrastructure.

Believers gatherring here to chat & learn in a way is a seperation from the other camp who forbid these discussions.

Apart from the gospels and acts, the Bible warns us against false apostles, false teachers and false prophets who will not spare the flock. They will teach novel and false doctrines while claiming to be true teachers. It’s an apostasy from within.

Acts 20:26 Therefore I testify to you this day that I am innocent of the blood of all of you, 27 for I did not shrink from declaring to you the whole counsel of God. 28 Take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit has made you guardians, to feed the church of the Lord which he obtained with his own blood. 29 I know that after my departure fierce wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock; 30 and from among your own selves will arise men speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after them.

Yes, I agree, that's been happening for decades, the apostasy has been getting worse over time. The novel doctrines looked so harmless decades ago, but now everything is so much more worse, as the Church's foundation of doctorine has eroded away with the false doctorines, and many parishioners are clueless, as the newer doctorines are easier & more convinient to follow.

Mark Mallett weighs in on this article on his latest post here.

Mark talks about the identity of the pope, which isn't something that I payed attention to, but what I found interesting is what the pope says in his general audience.

Pope Benedict mentions the fact that Ticonius belonged to a shismatic group in his general audience speech which is here. And who better than the most highly crowned theologian in the Church, former head of the CDF and Pope could be better placed to talk to the faithful about another theologian? Pope Benedict gave the address himself as pope and said about Ticonius: "He was not a Catholic; he belonged to the schismatic Donatist Church, yet he was a great theologian."

His reference to Ticonius is significant because of his "conviction that the Church was a bipartite body: on the one hand, he says, she belongs to Christ, but there is another part of the Church that belongs to the devil." He goes on to point out the role of the Virgin Mary "as a model of the Church, a model for all of us because Christ must also be born in and among ushe refers to him as the most "significant source"

This text of the pope's audience itself is something to meditate on along with the identity of the" woman sitting upon the scarlet beast".

Mark Mallett calls the theory “ flirting with schism” and I think it does exactly that which I why I am staying away from anything to do with it . I encourage everyone else to do the same.

the woman of Revelation 17 is riding in the beast; and the church of Christ founded on the rock of Peter and of Christ himself; I believe that there is a false church but not that it is an integral part of the true one.

It has infiltrated inside the true Church. The confusion today is caused by this false church.

The schism is not caused by the faithful, it is caused by the unfaithful. But it’s a reality. You can’t just close your eyes to this. The false Catholics want us out of our own Church, or submit to their own laws in our Church. It will get very ugly.

the synod on Synodality may have the effect of a sieve ; revealing who actually belongs to the church; and who is of the false church , something evidenced by the synod of Germany.

The Apocalypse is about the Catholic Church, the New Israel. We (the Church) are going through His passion again. Our Lady through the Holy Spirit will triumph again, as in that holy night in Bethlehem. She will lead us through its suffering. Hopefully todays turmoil will end with all the Christian Churches uniting to one Apostolic Church. Again it’s not the end of the world. It’s the end of an era.

Apocalypse means unveiling. God is unveiling the truth to the evil around us. It will be our free will to choose which way we want to think and act.

Byron, you have it exactly right. Your view is in perfect agreement with CCC 675, 676, 677, which, by the way, was written under the direction of Cardinal Ratzinger (aka Pope Benedict XVI).

We have a few more months/years yet of this "confusion." But very "soon" all "who have eyes to see" will see clearly and will choose the side of Truth. We need to pray for those who cannot see (i.e., those who are still deceived). As St. Paul said in 2 Thessalonians 2:

8 And then that wicked one shall be revealed: whom the Lord Jesus shall kill with the spirit of his mouth and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: him 9 Whose coming is according to the working of Satan, in all power and signs and lying wonders: 10 And in all seduction of iniquity to them that perish: because they receive not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. Therefore God shall send them the operation of error, to believe lying: 11 That all may be judged who have not believed the truth but have consented to iniquity.

St. Paul is saying that the people who cannot recognize "the wicked one" are deceived because they will "not believe the truth" precisely because they "consent to iniquity." In other words, their understanding is "darkened" by their own attachment to sin or their indifference to the sins of others close to them.

So again, pray that these people, who appear to be holy (but are actually not), will convert before it is too late for them. If they are Catholic, encourage them to receive the Sacrament of Penance by giving them a traditional examination of conscience, like this one:

Well said. Fr James Blount has said this repeatedly. It will get worse before it gets better but he insists that Our Lady told him that the triumph is coming and it will be glorious and it will be sooner than we think. But in the mean time prepare--especially spiritually. It will get dark. Very dark. I think of LOTR in the second novel movie. "Look to the East" Gandalf says at one point. When Helm's Deep is overrun and about to fall Aragon and Theoden ride out to meet the enemy though out matched on every side. And as the rising sun crests over the mountain blinding the enemy, Gandalf and his army arrive and great victory is acheived.
We need to remember the Passion ends in triumphant Resurrection.
But lots of miles to go....
