The NMCC is the National Military Command Center; it is a hardened military site that, again, can be used as a command post in case of war. It's where Bush flew to on 9/11 when there was real fear of a major attack on the Capitol. One of its purposes is to ensure Continuity of Government (CoG) in case of nuclear attack. As such an important facility, they would not admit Trump into it if there was any doubt that he was the legitimate head of the Executive Branch. If they had started impeachment or 25th Amendment activities against Trump there would be a chance that he would not be allowed to enter, since his command of the government might not be legal. So, he was moved at night, under cover of darkness, to a place where NO media are allowed. Now that he's there, the military would not allow him to leave unless there was clear and legal reasons to say that he was not the legitimate leader of the US. This would also ensure his safety from retribution if Lin Wood et. al. are correct, and dozens of indictments have been unsealed and arrest warrants have been issued. If it's true, we'll start seeing reports about this in the MSM starting Monday. I imagine they'll all be describing it as a coup by Trump to remain in power, etc.
