I’ll pray for Tim too. Oh Mario he held your hand. What a beautiful sign of love and cry for forgiveness. You helped him more than you know.
Thanks for the update Terry. Continuing to pray for Tim and healings within and among his family. Peace
I'd like to thank you all for your prayers. Such prayers are never wasted! I talked with Tim's son, Conor, a little while ago. In spite of the medical staff's due diligence, it appears Tim will face the Lord today. He is on comfort care and failing. He will not regain consciousness. I am grateful to have spent time with him yesterday. The memory of his squeezing my hand during the Rosary remains. St. Therese, please send a rose to the family, indeed to the whole O'Loughlin clan. A Catholic chaplain has been notified; unfortunately Tim did not/could not receive the Sacrament of Confession. May our beautiful Queen wrap Tim in her Mantle of Maternal Love and Intercession. May God's Just yet Merciful Will be done. The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away;blessed be the Name of the Lord!
I'm glad you got a response while saying the rosary. Taking this as a good sign. May Mary be there greet Tim when he walks through to the other side.
When someone I knew was dying (and was unconscious) the priest came and absolved him of his sins (I know this because he verbalized the words - I absolve you of all of your sins) without his confession. Perhaps a priest you know might do this for you. added to say that they did receive the last rights a week before when he was still conscious from a different priest. I talked with the priest who gave him last rites (the week before) and he did say the following absolution was conditional on the soul being penitent of which God would know the state of the soul when a person is unconscious)
Praying for Tim now. I prayed the Chaplet in the presence of 3 people when they were dying - I count it as my greatest achievement! “When they say this chaplet in the presence of the dying, I will stand between My Father and the dying person, not as a just Judge but as a merciful Savior.” (Diary of Saint Faustina, 1541).
Tim was aware that you were with him, and praying for him. You were so sad because you thought he wouldn't remember you...that hand squeeze was a little miracle from God. Prayers for Tim and your family.
