After 4 days of being in the hospital (an eternity to a 9 year old boy) he finally got released yesterday. Lots of medication and dr appointments in the future (and praying for a recovery of his hearing) but on the mend. Thank you again!!!!

Sorry I missed this earlier, DM! Prayers for a full recovery of his hearing! (I was completely deaf in my left ear following a stroke summer 2015 which completely resolved, but then I went completely deaf in the right ear following strokes March 2016. I’ve gotten about 50-60% of the hearing back in that ear since then too fortunately.)
It's amazing the things we don't seem to appreciate on a daily basis until we lose them . I'm happy that some of your hearing returned! My son was crying the other day because he misheard the announcement of one of the mysteries during the family rosary and became lost. The drs seem to think his hearing will be restored in about 2 weeks.... hopefully this happens
Hopefully When all the infections are cleared up and the inflammation goes away, he will be able to hear Will pray for that Give it time
