My dearest friend just texted me that his sister, Jeannie suddenly passed away this morning. Please pray for her soul , her children, and my friend and his family. Thank you.

Prayers for Jeanie and family. In my Parish they have a nice tradition of a noticeboard showing photos and names and dates of death of all who have recently died. Since I have been in the same Parish about 65 years now I know so many of them. It keeps me grounded in the passingness of things.
