Just thinking out loud how if this consecration is real it should bring in the triumph of Mary & world peace yet we know from other apparitions like Garabandal and Akita of warnings and chastisements to come. Of fire falling from the sky if men do not repent.
Our Lady said at Medugorje that the greater part of the Chastisements could not now be avoided... ...but we may have just avoided Nuclear Annihilation by the skin of our teeth.
We still have to actually get to the day of the Consecration. Alot could happen, between now and then, God forbid. I pray Pope Emeritus Benedict wont die before then and that he will be able to participate fully in the Consecration.I pray that this consecration can be made in time, to prevent a nuclear holocaust.

I would imagine then that with the Consecration that the Great Sign and Warning are very,very close. It would be very surprising if there were not some form of Miraculous Sign taking place during the Consecration..such as the Sun Dancing in various places in the World, but especially at St Peter's...
It's so hard to figure things out, things are so confused. I never thought Pope Francis would have done the Consecration in a million years. At best I thought the next Pope, maybe. I suspect the Consecration will bring a respite of maybe a few months or maybe a couple of years. It won't stick because people will not convert, especially in the Church itself. But it will bring a brief period of Peace. At least I hope so. At least it will stop us from getting fried.
Hi Padraig I'm trying to wrap my head around the great yet seemingly undeserved miracle that would cause Our Dear Holy Father to consecrate Russia at this time! What could have precipitated this great event that we have all been awaiting ? I believe Our Dear Lord Jesus has heard the increased prayers, fasting and penances of the faithful this lent, these heartfelt, invocations have opened a window for great graces to descend from heaven. Personally I believe that our prayers, sufferings and penances, are like spears that pierce the void of heaven! and when many prayers are sent by many people this creates a great window in heaven where graces can descend. Our Lady has awaited and implored us for this over many years. However, even though this is stupendous, I believe, we may be in uncharted territory! because.... If the consecration of Russia is fulfilled and Russia is converted in 2022, it is late (according to Our Lady Of Fatima), and the ideological errors of (USSR) Communistic Russia, have spread and infiltrated the world. Now the western world advocates and implements the communistic ideologies more so than Russia! So what could Russia's conversion mean for us faithful, at this time? 1) Could it mean that Russia will lay down as a door mat! to the western world? allowing, western LGBT gay marriage and pride marches, legalised euthanasia, abortion up to 28 days after birth, or..... 2) Could it mean that Russia may be implemental in converting the whole western world, to the truth of the Catholic faith! Well you are right of course , the prayers of the Faithful are the cause. But perhaps there was a more proximate cause, like perhaps God showing Pope Francis what would happen if he did not do it? Perhaps he was shown the World going up in a puff of smoke? It would not surprise me in the least. But we still have to enter the fullness of the Chastisement. My best guess is that we will be granted a period of Peace and then things will take off again. A brief period of Peace. But of course God Bless the Holy Father for doing this. It is truly wonderful. Other Popes did not do it. He is. For whatever reason. It is very,very late though. Very,very,very late indeed.
Many unanswered questions! The Consecration, in and of itself, is a simple thing to do. The evil one despises, and at the same time, fears Our Lady in her resplendent purity. We must pray God's protection over the Holy Father and our bishops. In addition, attempts may occur to disrupt and distract! A most important week ahead! Let us do our part through prayer and fasting! Finally, the consecration of Russia as was asked by Our Lady in Fatima (in union with all the bishops, etc.) seems to be happening! The only thing I'm worried about is that it was said somewhere that "Russia will be converted but it will be really late". There is one week left before March 25th, it is both a short and a very long time. I pray that nothing major happens regarding Russia in the meantime.
I believe this is a fulfillment of a vision my friend had in Knock on the consecration of Ireland to The Immaculate Heart some years ago. She was shown the Holy Spirit going out from Knock and huge waterfall of crystal water flowing down from Heaven. As the water touched the earth a filthy black water came up. She finally saw the Pope's window in the Vatican and the words Urbi et Orbi. Obviously the church had to be purified before the consecration could take affect and now must be the right time. I'm very excited.
Imho, the consecration of Russia on the March 25th had to happen before the prophecies of Our Lady of Garabandal of the Warning and the Miracle are to occur. We know that Our Lady of Fatima told us that the consecration of Russia would be done late (or too late) and Russia's errors will have spread already. Conchita was told in a locution with Our Lord that the Miracle will convert Russia and the world (see below). I obviously have no idea how soon after the consecration the Warning occurs but the consecration of Russia really appears to be required before the Warning can occur. Again, this is my opinion but it makes sense especially in light of what Brian posted about the seer who predicted that Pope Francis would be the pope to do it along with the fact that Our Lady of Fatima stated that the consecration of Russia will be done late etc. This is from chapter 7 of Conchita's diary, it's part of the locution with Our Lord which occurred on 7/20/1963: And with much feeling, I went on praying.
