I always like to write about the Holy Souls, Paul it is so very easy to forget them.

My favourite prayer is for the worst sinner and for the soul deepest in purgatory.

I feel so sorry for non Catholics who end up in Purgatory; who will pray for them. Poor souls.

    I will.

So far, of the current ones, I'm only considering the Apparitions in Itapiranga (Amazon). I've been reading older messages and it is quite scary. It says there will be a bloodshed all over Brazil, that satan will bring much suffering.

There was another in 1936 at a place called 'Cimbres'. Our Lady said about a blood flood and that communism would enter Brazil.

Thanks very much TGo ,I will read up in them.

Its true what you say, Communism seems to tie in with Garabandal and of course Fatima.

Betania of course is true too, have you read up on Betania (church approved).

Just staryted reading this, wow, here's an exerpt:

    ST. ANTONINUS AND HIS FRIEND
Here is a narrative of a different kind, but not less instructive.
St. Antoninus, the illustrious Archbishop of Florence, relates that a pious gentleman had died, who was a great friend of the Dominican Convent in which the Saint resided. Many Masses and suffrages were offered for his soul.
The Saint was very much afflicted when, after the lapse of a long time, the soul of the poor gentleman appeared to him, suffering excruciating pains.
"Oh, my Dear Friend, " exclaimed the Archbishop, "are you still in Purgatory, you who led such a pious and devout life?"
"Yes, and I shall remain there still for a long time, " replied the poor sufferer, "for when on Earth I neglected to offer suffrages for the souls in Purgatory. Now, God by a just judgment has applied the suffrages which have been offered for me to those souls for whom I should have prayed. "
"But God, too, in His Justice, will give me all the merits of my good works when I enter Heaven; but first of all, I have to expiate my grave neglect in regard to others. "
So true are the words of Our Lord: "By that measure with which you measure, it will be measured to you again. "
Remember, you who read these lines, that the terrible fate of this pious gentleman will be the fate of all those who neglect to pray for and ù refuse to help the Holy Souls.

Isn't it strange how human nature is always looking to disprove something, a million good things stare us right in the face and we take a peek and say wow but then we continue to look for the one bad thing and we scream as loud as we can and become a mob,,Its pretty much the same as when Jesus walked miracle after miracle and the mob waited like a circling lion to proclaim ah ha I found you out,,If we wait long enough we will see and hear what we want to hear..Dear Lord I pray take the plank from my eye and remove the pharisee within me..Amen

In Maria Simma defense how unintelligent are we in our faith to believe the words that come out of pranksters and deceivers who plot to destroy someones character...

I hope those folks didn't try and deceive this guy..

St Patrick and raising the dead..
It is interesting to note that each of the miracles related here was aimed at establishing truth, besides doing good to various individuals. Here is a final example.
An evil man named Machaldus, and his companions, who placed on their heads certain diabolical signs called "Deberth," signifying their devotion to Satan, plotted to mock St. Patrick. They covered one of their group, Garbanus, with a cloak as if he were dead. Garbanus, though in perfect health, was placed on a couch as if laid out in preparation for burial. The men then sent for Patrick, asking him to raise the covered Garbanus from the dead. This was a fatal mistake.
St. Patrick told them it was with deceit, but not with falsehood , that they had declared their companion dead. Disregarding their entreaties, Patrick went on his way, praying for the soul of the derider.
Then, uncovering their friend, the plotters found Garbanus not feigning death, but actually dead! Contrite of heart, they pursued St. Patrick; they obtained pardon and were baptized. At their entreaty, St. Patrick also revived the dead Garbanus.
The same once-evil Machaldus became a great penitent, a bishop eminent in holiness and miracles, and became known as "St. Machaldus."

Believe me when I say this and I don't say it lightly,This was the book that molded me,converted me and has steered the very hand of God within me and the paths that he has lead me...

From the moment I read the book many years ago I offer my daily prayers to the souls in purgatory, every communion I receive is offered for them its like a battle that goes on before I receive,"Oh dear Jesus can I receive you today for me and then at the moment before I receive,Oh dear Jesus forgive my selfishness may a receive this communion today on behalf of the poor souls in purgatory may all of my communion be used for their suffering and I receive nothing". When I am unable to receive due to my sinfulness I ask Jesus to allow my heavenly sister Therese to receive my communion for me and present it to him as a gift for the souls in purgatory..The Souls in purgatory seem to be in every heartbeat and action of my daily journey with God they are always their prompting and begging and I strive to hear their call..

At the novena last night praise God I had a wonderful confession and was able to receive Jesus myself in person I have not been able to do that since Christmas due to my own lazy fault,How wonderful it would be when at the moment when the priest says "I absolve you from your sins" that he also would place Christ on your tongue so at that instant without even a breath of time Christ would be in your spotlessly clean soul oh what desire..:)...but tonight I took great joy in telling Therese its ok sister I can do this myself but you can hold my hand on my way to receive,, I could feel and see her in my minds eye like a little child holding my hand and skipping and singing on our way to the altar..Thank you Jesus for the gift of reconciliation I feel brand new today...:):) Up Arms :):love:

The interesting about the Brazilian protests is the large mass of people against the extreme left. Try to watch this video and see the communist taking a few punches:
    http://g1.globo.com/jornal-nacional...as-do-centro-de-sao-paulo-nesta-terca-18.html

The problem is a total lack of organized opposition and leadership. The crowd is going nuts and I believe something bad will follow.

Lets include here the prayer given to St. Gertrude to release 1000 souls from Purgatory each time it is said:
Eternal Father, I offer Thee the Most Precious Blood of Thy Divine Son, Jesus, in union with the masses said throughout the world today, for all the holy souls in purgatory, for sinners everywhere, for sinners in the universal church, those in my own home and within my family. Amen.

I say this prayer at the consecration in Mass. I always wondered if it was true. Then in reading St. Faustina's diary I read that she made a fervent prayer offering for the souls who were dying that day to be saved and Jesus told that because of the fervent way she offered her prayer He would save 1 thousand souls that day.

QUD, I am now ashamed of my devotion to St. Terese, after reading of your devotion to her. I feel she is calling me to make a novena to her, I must look up a good novena to St. Terese.

TGo I am praying for you and Brazil tonight. Millions of people do not go into the streets protesting over football stadiums and bus fares.

It is part of a much bigger thing going on all over the world.

We had a war here that went on for thirty years. I grew up in it so I know how valuable peace is.

Queen of Peace pray for us all....

    And 3.836

Comment - this is consistent with previous messages received by PR speaking of the Pope's betrayal. The 'smoke of the devil' is a direct reference to Paul VI's famous remark of 1972 about the 'smoke of Satan'. 'Rock on top of the rock' is cryptic, although one of the 'rocks' would seem to be 'Peter'. Tgo, is 'pedra em cima de pedra' a Brazilian Portuguese idiom? Have I mistranslated - can you suggest a better version? 'Stone upon stone'?

I have read the interview with Maria Simma. It is very good. Padraig, when you said she sometimes told people that their loved ones were in heaven when they were actually still alive, I thought immediately that Maria saw souls in purgatory, not souls in heaven or hell...right? So if she could not "see" a soul, then in her mind the soul must be in heaven (or hell). Perhaps that is the way she surmised that a person's grandmother was in heaven, because she had no feeling of them being in purgatory and in her goodness would not have even thought that someone would lie to her like that. Just a thought.
