I don't want to depress people but I believe people are being offered a deal with the devil. Yes they can have the Latin Mass as much as they want. In return they have to keep quiet about about the great evils that are occurring and are about to occur in the Church. A deal with the Devil indeed.
The main drive of the Vatican and Papa Leo at the minute, I believe , is to make sodomy legit because many of even most of these people are sodomites themselves. However as Leo has hinted if they try to go to far with this they will cause a Schism. So as he points out they have to do the groundwork in prepared people to accept this abomination.
I believe it is the false, Church, the Ape of the Church, the Synodal Church which resembles the true Church of Christ in every respect but of their Father, Satan.
This has to be taken in the context of her writings. She also states that the person who does the least does the most.
I understand what you are saying and this all goes back to the active vs contemplative tension within the church. My personal experience is that as one rests in silence, the soul is transformed and everything changes. I used to be a very type A personality and still have urges of that, trying to get it all done. But without grace the work I do is meaningless. It's like the more I rest in contemplation, extending attention and love towards God, the more I become in alignment with Him. Not by my own will, but by His grace. From this my actions become more God natured, because I have become more aligned with God. So then my hands, my feet and that become Christ's. I can be scooping out the litter box and be totally in love with God just as I am at church.
Yes, this is what I've learned too. Every time I'm getting worked up and trying to do and fix things myself, I realize that I'm actually accomplishing very little, or actually making it worse! But then when my focus is purely on loving and trusting God, spending a lot more time in prayer, I find that I'm "doing" things very differently and peacefully, and almost without me realizing it, God does His own works through me. It's always humbling to find out again and again that God doesn't need me to figure out what to do. But He can use me if He wants to!
I do not claim to be an expert in this by any means, I very much struggle with this. When I accept and surrender to my crosses while focused on Love/God, my entire being changes. I believe because when I am better aligned with God, even my thoughts and desires change. But so do the things around me, things often resolve themselves. Other things will avail themselves to me that I never expected. It's like a whole new world opens up. God likely is using me for His will, not necessarily in the way I want but how He wants. This can be frustrating, but it can also be very liberating,
It is often very hard for me too. I know what you mean! And every time I think I've finally learned it, I have to learn it all over again!
In Fr Dolindo’s Surrender Novena, the Lord says that he will resolve even the most difficult situations. I’m all for that !
It may be an abomination, but not the "abomination of desolation", which is described by Saint Alphonsus Liguori as a liturgical celebration where the words of Consecration are tampered with in such a way that the hosts will not changed into the Body and Blood of Our Lord. Thus the Sacrifice will be rendered null and void.
I heard somewhere Terry that the Vatican has set up a five year commision to 'Reform ' the Liturgy? I so hope this is not so.
Yes, exactly. Here are the sacramental "Forms" for each liturgy. The missing words, from both the Latin and the vernacular, are in bold. Bad translations that change the meaning of the official Latin words are underlined. And let me say, if considering the facts about the changes to the "Form" makes anyone upset, please stop reading right now. TRADITIONAL LATIN MASS FOR THIS IS THE CHALICE OF MY BLOOD, OF THE NEW AND ETERNAL TESTAMENT, THE MYSTERY OF FAITH, WHICH FOR YOU AND FOR MANY SHALL BE SHED UNTO THE REMISSION OF SINS. ----------------------------------------------------------------- NOVUS ORDO TAKE THIS, ALL OF YOU, AND DRINK FROM IT, FOR THIS IS CHALICE OF MY BLOOD, THE BLOOD OF THE NEW AND ETERNAL COVENANT, [.............THE MYSTERY OF FAITH is missing................], WHICH WILL BE POURED OUT FOR YOU AND FOR MANY FOR THE FORGIVENESS OF SINS. DO THIS IN MEMORY OF ME. Pope St. Pius V stated: If the priest were to shorten or change the form of the consecration of the Body and the Blood, so that in the change of wording the words did not mean the same thing, he would not be achieving a valid Sacrament. If, on the other hand, he were to add or take away anything which did not change the meaning, the Sacrament would be valid, but he would be committing a grave sin. The words "covenant" and "testament" do not mean the same thing. A covenant is an agreement or contract between two or more parties, often involving promises and obligations. A testament is a final will that takes effect after the person's death. The words "shed" and poured out" do not mean the same thing. The word shed, in the context of blood on Calvary, refers to a slaughtering of the Lamb. The words poured out, in the context of wine used at the Last Supper, refers to pouring wine into a cup. The words "remission" and "forgiveness" do not mean the same thing. The word remission is a more complete and absolute removal of the sin and its punishment, often used in a religious context to signify being declared "not guilty" or being absolved of the penalty. The word forgiveness is simply the act of letting go of resentment or anger. But the biggest problem is that the words "the Mystery of Faith" have been completely removed from the sacramental form in the official Latin. These words were integral to the "Form" said by St. Peter himself. They are sacred words and no one had the authority to remove them. Therefore applying the words of Pope St. Pius V (who is simply repeating the Magisterial doctrine from earlier Popes), since the sacramental "Form" for the Consecration of the Wine used in the Novus Ordo changes the meaning of the words of the traditional "Form," the priest "would not be achieving a valid Sacrament" when attempting to transubstantiate the wine into the Blood of Jesus Christ. And remember "the Church has no power over the substance of the Sacraments,” as Pope Pius XII said in Sacramentum Ordinis (and he was paraphrasing a canon from the Council of Trent). The "substance of the Sacraments" refers to their "Matter" and "Form." This means that even a Pope cannot change the "Matter" and "Form" of the Sacraments once they have been defined. Those words are irreformable. This fundamental principle of Sacramental Theology was broken with the Novus Ordo.
