An additional request, if I may:

My sister (58) and nephew (39) will be driving together for the graveside service. It'll be an 1,800 mile round-trip.

Nephew is a special needs person. He probably cannot be of any help to sister if they encounter danger on the road.

Sister's husband is now unable to go along as he is unvaccinated, the area is (allegedly) spiking with COVID, and a cousin's family are COVID positive (the plan had been to stay two nights there). Sister talked him into staying home. He's angry but agrees.

And with the ongoing migrant crisis, this obviously isn't a good time for sis and nephew to be "on the road."
