Wow! Very interesting! Have any of you noticed how time is accelerating lately? It's speeding up faster and faster. It's already Sunday again!
Matthew 24:22 'And unless those days had been shortened, no flesh should be saved: but for the sake of the elect those days shall be shortened'. Our Lady uses the word time very frequently in her monthly messages from Medjugorje, 'this is a time of grace', 'this time is my time' etc. She has appeared for nearly 30 years and those 3 decades have fairly flown past. It has been a time of grace and many have responded but most have not so to prevent many going to Hell there will be a few last moments of Divine Mercy & Grace - the Illumination of all consciences and the Great Miracle of Garabandal/Medjugorje etc. Western 'civilization' is in a new dark age of sin, a culture of death permeates society and culture - the remedy for darkness is light - we are rapidly heading towards the Light of the Warning and many will be caught unprepared like rabbits in the headlights. And the days are shortened [getting quicker] as we head towards the warning so that many who are lost can be saved.
I have a question... I hate to pretend I know something (cuz I don't, so please if you are a newbie to this, realize that so am I, and I fully expect to be corrected here) I've been kind of pondering something. Is there any reason we think that the warning will come before the start of the war, I mean this year. I've been reading through some of the old prophesies (and I know they don't necessary share things in order, nor are the translated in order) and the great war appears to occur with the coming of the great king and pope and then there is a great conversion across the world with Muslims becoming Christian and the scattered church reuniting and of course there is the comet that is talked about in some cases. Anyway with the order of war and then the conversion, I am wondering if in about two years, after things ramp up and really get crazy, we will see the warning as that will be the impetis of the conversion. Has anyone else had this thought? Am I just pulling this thought out of my hat? I'm not a good seer and my memory is aweful, so I have to check on this feeling that's been niggling at me. Thanks! Kathleen, My understanding is that the days of the Great Monarch are reserved for the period of the Chasetisement which follows upon the Miracle. According to Conchita of Garabandal, a period called the Tribulation precedes the Warning. This Tribulation, which involves turmoil and persecution of the Church, reaches a climax after the Pope visits the Patriarch of Russia. At that point, communism sweeps across Europe in the form of a invasion by Russia. It is then that the Warning will occur. Within a year following, the Miracle takes place. Obviously, the Warning/Miracle is a watershed dual event in which the hearts of men will be laid bare. Those who reject conversion will grow more wicked and their actions will precipitate the justice of God in the form of the Chasticement. The Era of Peace follows. I believe I have seen the first part of this Russian invasion an attack on the Ukraine in a dream coupled with an attack on Kiev which was well defended and later missiles over Hungary with nuclear flashes in the distance..also later the use of nuclear weapons in the Balkan although I believe Medugorje will be miraculously spared. I strongly suspect that these events are tied in with the at least one of the Secrets in Medugorje. I also strongly suspect that Our Lady is currently appearing to two ladies in the Kiev area in connection with this, though I have never found this on the internet or on the media. Nevertheless I believe it is happening and what Our Lady is telling them is extraordinary. I must start and pray for this mother and daughter I think their role is very, very special. I have time and time again entered in a dream the most beautiful old church with a gorgeous mosaic of the Madonna and Child looking very sadly ahead and as I have risen from the Church below the mosaic ahs come alive. The events in the Ukraine, Eastern Europe and the Balkans will be very,very, very terrible indeed. I have been shown this Church many time. The people out there will be in very great Terror.
Ukraine is a deeply Catholic country so it fits in that our Lady is at work there in preparation for the tribulations ahead. I suggest our Lady has been given a special role by God in these times like a General preparing her troops for the times ahead and we all have a role to play. Padraig, are you at liberty to reveal why you end up in Spain in the future?
I am still confused, but I'll keep trying to sort it out. The prophets just squish everything together so much that I can't separate the tribulation (natural disasters?) from the Chastisement. Seems to me if we had the warning, everyone of us would understand they needed to convert, but maybe thats the assumption that is confusing me, rather than what the prophets are saying. I feel that the warning is closer than we think. I can see, by how fast these riots are spreading all over the world, that things could really pick up in the near future. Saudi Arabia is having their "Day of Rage" on March 11th. I was listening to some experts tht if they collapse, oil could go to $22o a barrel, $1o-$11 a gallonn the U.S. I've been.slowly but surely stocking up on food, watet and necessities wherever we can and as long as we can, and then God will do the rest. Just like the gospel today: Be like the wild flower. I believe that even if we're only able to stock up a little bit, God will multiply it. I pray that I can have the daith like Moses, who had bothing but hia his faith in God.
Yes Meg, funny enough I was reviewing my little preparations myself and I have to say they are very,very little. I must do better. I will maybe buy some more food, dry food over the summer. Events are moving very fast . I think I have a tendency to think..,'Oh I wil lgo to the supermarket and stores just before and get ready' Whereas there might not be any stocked or open stores to go to, things might move just that fast. People look at our western societies and think how civilised and gentle we all are. Well yes we are civilised and good manered and law abiding when we get all we want and need. Things will change so rapidly when we cannot get them. It is grace that truly makes us behave with love towards one another. Folks of little faith will behave with extreme violence and terror when the curtain starts to go down. What we count as , 'Society' is exteremly fragile and brittle. Bobby I will end up going to Southern Spain by ship from Italy with a lot of other good and loyal and devout Catholic folks just as the invasion and revolutions are ongoing there and just before the destruction of Rome by fire. In my opinion, European's revolutions will start after the Warning not before the Warning, personally I've already bought foods. An other important thing that I would like to share with you, please do not link Garabandal and Medjugorje, my english is not enought rich to explain it to you but I am quiet sure that after the Garabandal Warning, Medjugorje will not have the same picture any more, I of course respect all the beleivers of Medjugorje but during all my travels to Garabandal since years now, that point has been confirm to me each time. Aviso, our God is so wonderful with his multiplicity of grace! One apparition site resonated in my Mom's heart (Fatima). Another one captured the imagination of my mother-in-law (Lourdes). Both converted to the Catholic Faith through the maternal love of Our Lady. And so for you it is Garabandal. Does it matter that Medjugorje has its millions and Garabandal its thousands? To be honest , Connie I get mixed up with the sequence of events. But the period I am speaking of is about 30 years from now, however that ties in.
Padraig - who are the seer(s) for the prophecy you posted in the link? At the bottom it mentions Veronica of Bayside. Wasn't Bayside condemned by the church? On another thread someone mentioned the prophecy of Rome. What is that prophecy? I did not realize Garabandal had so much prophecy on wars, etc. I tend to believe that Garabandal is authentic, but am a little skeptical on the details of what the seers prophesized. Didn't they say that there would be only 3 more popes after a certain pope, and we are on our 4th since that pope? I forget which pope it was, but I thought there was a discreptancy with it.
Yes the Bayside seer is condemned by the Church. So ignore that one. I refer to the legitimate prophicies of the Pope fleeing Rome and it being destroyed, I think St John Bosco and Blessed Maria Tiagi and St Pope Pius x gave this. I also think this is what the 3rd secret of Fatima referred to, though many took this to mean Pope JP 2, but the 3rd secret refers to a Pope , not being shot with bullets alone but killed with arrows as well (Ithink). VATICAN CITY, JUN 26, 2000 (VIS) - Given below is the complete translation of the original Portuguese text of the third part of the secret of Fatima, revealed to the three shepherd children at Cova da Iria-Fatima on July 13, 1917, and committed to paper by Sr. Lucia on January 3, 1944: "I write in obedience to you, my God, who command me to do so through his Excellency the Bishop of Leiria and through your Most Holy Mother and mine. Potatosack, the Garabandal seers did not say there would only be 3 more popes. They said that after 3 more popes everything towards the end times would begin. If you notice, things have started moving forward quite quickly since Pope Benedict XVI.
OK folks - here's my take on what is to come and I will say that we are on the cusp of great change and the events predicted may come sooner than we think. I am sticking my neck out but -- haa, I am among friends After the passing of Pope John XXIII — Conchita predicted that “For sure…there would be only three more popes [Digo tambien que ya solo quedan tres Papas], after which would come “the end of the times.” -- we have had the 3 Popes Paul VI, John Paul I and John Paul II. So we are in the 'end of times' predicted by Conchita. I take this 'end of times' statement to mean that we have entered the end times of grace and the beginning of the time of justice as many seers have predicted. The Pontificate of Benedict XVI beginning in 2005- has marked the turning point from grace to justice [note what is happening in Middle East at present and also the economic tribulation is well under way] and also the Warning is to occur under his Pontificate, if Conchita's prophecy is correct. The Warning may well be the beginning of the Tribulation and this also fits in with St Malachy's famous prophecy re. Popes as he has the next Pope after Benedict as Peter the Great -- the last on his list and Rome is destroyed under his Pontificate. [In persecutione extrema S.R.E. sedebit Petrus Romanus, qui pascet oves in multis tribulationibus: quibus transactis civitas septicollis diruetur, & Judex tremêdus judicabit populum suum. Finis]. In extreme persecution, the seat of the Holy Roman Church will be occupied by Peter the Roman, who will feed the sheep through many tribulations, at the term of which the city of seven hills will be destroyed, and the formidable Judge will judge his people. So Warning/Miracle perhaps under the Pontificate of Benedict XVI [corresponding with secrets 1-3 of Medjugorje which are blessings/grace for the world, a last outpouring of grace and Divine Mercy]. Tribulations/Chastisements begin under Peter the Roman: - notice St Malachy's prophecy states that he will lead the church through many tribulations and at the end of his term as Pontiff, Rome will be destroyed -- etc. I suggest that Peter the Roman has quite a long Potificate The tribulations of this period will be severe [perhaps secrets 4-10 of Garabandal]. I see these secret outworking over 2 decades as the seers are relatively young in their 30s and early 40's. Rome will be destroyed at the end of Peter the Great's pontificate -- [and Padraig is there - and takes a boat to Spain for a holiday Sorry Padraig - Irish humour :wink: ] The reason why I think these things will begin sooner rather than later is 1. The 3 Popes prophecy of Conchita 2. St Malachy's prophecy of the last 2 Popes 3. Joey Lomangino turns 80 this year. 4. The economic chastisement has already begun but will get much worse soon - collapse of the economic order is impending this year or next. Economic collapse will lead to social collapse and anarchy - we will see regional revolutions in Europe as in the Middle East, perhaps Russian intervention in Eastern Europe. 5. Economic chaos always leads to regional and then global conflict [in this case nuclear], this will occur within the next decade. 6. The world is incredibly sinful - we have had a 'generation' of the abortion holocaust [40 years in Britain], much of Europe is secular and de-Christianised. The Pope has recently warned of the impending collapse of European civilization due to decadence, immorality, licentiousness, disordered lusts, perversions, hedonism, homosexuality - the list is endless --- 7. There is at present history in the making - a re-alignment of politics in Africa and the Middle East - the toppling of kingdoms that we see on the news in recent weeks is the hand of God at work. Militant Islam will take over in these areas within the next decade and become strong and God will empower them to defeat the Christian West. Europe will be defeated by Militant Muslim armies & there will be a great persecution but then God will raise the Great Catholic Monarch to defeat the Infidel. Add to these events natural catastrophes like earthquakes, volcanoes, solar storms, and a comet [I think this is what you heard hitting the ocean Padraig in a repetitive dream when you saw Belfast hit by a tsunami]. There will be famine and pestilence and many will die. The final tribulation or the chastisement of Garabandal will come directly from God [it may be the 3 days darkness or fire from the sky as predicted as in Akita and perhaps the same as the flaming sword of 3rd secret of Fatima] After these tribulations comes a period of peace predicted by our Lady at Fatima - but the world will be changed - we will go back to agricultural and rural life [many cities having been destroyed]. The triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary will usher in a great age of the Holy Spirit and the Eucharistic Presence of Jesus in the World will be wonderful as will the re-united one, holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church.

I think the time frame for all of it makes more sense for me when you say that we will suffer persecution for years and then the chastisement will occur. The more I think on it the more I see how one might think the warning is impending over this Easter season. It is brave indeed to give a time line of events. I think Bobby is probably right. It will be one thing on the other hand to read about such things and quite another to go through them. I don't know if anyone has ever read books written at the start of and during the Second World War, for isntance. Folks were jsut rerrifed then and no ne was at all sure what way things would turn out, or indeed if anyone at all would survive. Neither the First nor the Second World Wars were accidents. They were a result of grav sins...and I have to say what we are facing now makes both wars look like street parties. One mystic whose writngs really touched me who lived through the last war was the English mystic, Evelyn Underhill. She atrted the war an out and out supporter of the Britsh war effort but as the war progressed and she grew and deepened in prayer she began ,seeing all the death in the Blitz all round her to ask questions about what was going on. Excellent, Garabandal! In your one sentance about secrets 4-10 you meant the visionaries of Medjugorje, not Garabandal, right? You know, I never thought about the Muslims taking over so much and then what would happen next...reading your take on this, it occurred to me that if they did take over all these areas in a more democratic way than before, if they did even perhaps take over some of the athiestic societies, they would be bringing at least some kind of religion back into these areas...THEN if they were converted...wow...now there's a thought. They are so close to us (though so many refuse to see this) but if Jesus shows himself to them...a mass change in their direction will occur and in many cases a complete conversion will occur and that will mean big things for all the world. Remember they believe they are doing God's will now...and God is still involved with what they do as well. What is the real plan of God, and what role will they really play? They are warriors for their religion, armed with oozies instead of rosaries...perhaps there is need for this before the rosaries can replace all the oozies. I don't know. It is compelling to think about, isn't it? I was wondering, when do you think the "three days of darkness" will occur? In the next 20, 50, 100, or 450 years as some have said?
