I actually think that more damage has been done by the huge US IT companies that have based themselves in Ireland. The reality is we do not have an independent media in Ireland. Many of the journalists have jobs as media advisors to politicians and political parties. It's a joke. I refuse to spend a cent on newspapers which are essentially mouthpieces for government and leftist group. Once they introduce legislation for hate speech people may wake up to the fact that we have been taken over.
