OH no...Will pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet for her and for the intervention of our Blessed Mother in Sues passing!
Dear Heavenly Hosts, I’ve been away from the forum and just now checked around to read this thread. I am truly sorry! You did all the right things by putting out for prayer for this poor woman, may she rest in peace! It was a beautiful act of charity, I could tell by your words how driven you were to have as many people as possible pray. We will offer our Rosary for her soul in a few minutes asking Our Lady to intercede as only She can for the dearly departed. With love, AN.
HeavenlyHosts, I will pray the Divine Mercy chaplet for her tonight and pray for her soul at Mass tomorrow. You are a good friend to get so many praying for her. Jesus has heard your prayers; I'm sure of it.
Praise and Glory to God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, that He should make known to us He came for Sue's soul at the hour of Mercy. We had petitioned Merciful Jesus on behalf of Sue, and our dear Lord of Mercy indicated to us He heard our prayer. Thank You Jesus, thank You Heavenly Father and thank You Holy Spirit. Your generosity is boundless. Our sweet adorable Heavenly Father.
I am overcome with the powerful Divine Mercy of Our Lord. Thank you all for joining me in prayer. I won't forget your generosity. I appreciate your kind words, prayers, chaplets and rosaries. And most of all, encouragement. They have borne fruit.
Praying, The Prayer of St. Gertrude for Sue. Eternal Father, I offer Thee the Most Precious Blood of Thy Divine Son, Jesus, in union with the masses said throughout the world today, for Sue, all the holy souls in purgatory, for sinners everywhere, for sinners in the universal church, those in my own home and within my family. Amen.
All the prayers said by the forum I know were well received, and granted her comfort. May she rest in peace.
Your request for prayers for your friend Sue help her into eternal life! She was blessed to have you for a friend HH!
It’s a long story but I now realize St Francis Xavier was involved That was the name of her childhood parish My parish was a mission of hers Back in early 1940s Fr Pete Rakowski was traveling ftom St Francis to The mission called Mount Calvary He did the long form of the Novena of Grace to St FX to see if he should become a chaplain in WW II or if chancery would make Mount Calvary a parish Well, the answer came for Mt Calvary to be a parish I took St Francis Xavier as my Confirmation Saint He guided me in this friendship and final act for Sue as I look back now The Novena of Grace starts March 4
HH i was as you know away from the forum and missed this. Praying for her soul today at Mass. How sorry I am I did not see this before.
