you are taking a step back, congratulations, you just need to realize that cttk is the result of a deception and spiritual delusion!
Dear MOG Members, I usually dont like to post 'links" here.. specially those that include long videos...BUT !! But...having said that ..Ill go ahead and post a link with a long video!! I think that our going back and forth and round and round "discussing" the problems of the world/ country and how bad things are is not getting anybody anywhere except very angry. However...we actually can DO something about rectifying the situation! We here on MOG are especially privy to the remedy for the those problems. We know the WAY to do it...."The DOGMA lives loudly within us!"(as Diane Finstein labeled it ) We have a strong Faith in God, an ardent love of the Mother of God and a firm belief in the power of PRAYER!!! We were repeatedly told about the miraculous power of prayer in scripture! Therefore..... let us proceed with what can and must be done...Storm Heaven with our prayers! I know many here are members of Fr Rick Heilmans US Grace Force... an army of prayer warriors doing battle with the evil powers that are now so prevalent in the world, our countries and our families. But for you who don't know about him and his "battle plans"and would like to join the fight...check out this link and hour long video! https://usgraceforce.com/grace-force-podcast-episode-59-the-dogma-lives-loudly-within-us/
Be specific in your accusations re: myself. Facts of anything I say here that differs from what I've always included....please??!!
Fatima, It is wise for people to rely on what the Church, in Her Doctors and Saints, officially teaches regarding eschatology, first and foremost. Next, I would think to look to approved apparitions throughout time to understand their messages better. And then, personally, I would go to long-standing alleged private revelation that are still occurring and awaiting Church proclamation asking God to reveal the truths therein. These are actions of true “humility” Anyone who does not do these things is NOT acting wisely, but foolishly. Indeed, those people become “naysayers” alright—naysayers to the Truth! The methodology of a group such as CDTTK is faulty and is misleading many good people into believing in erroneous, supposed words from God. And now that I have been forced to ponder this all more deeply because I feel the need to refute it so often, I can see a certain unhealthy fear in the words of some who would rather have the whole world be wrong as long as they are right. You’re written word, in my opinion, often comes across as repetitively pompous in its tone and you need to reflect on that. It’s as if you say, “You’ll finally see the truth, but it’ll be too late for you... but not for me!” Thanks, but no thanks.
Fede, I addressed the meaning of “judgement” two times, already, I believe. Respectfully, you don’t seem to understand that people may judge certain things without becoming the “judge and jury” of another’s motives and soul. There is nothing sinful about people making judgements about the words and actions of this priest.
It’s totally unfair to everyone, believers and naysayers alike, for these prophecies to be promoted without having been tested. “Not condemned!” means almost nothing, even before the 2 bishops statements. Visions can be from God himself but they can also be from a medical condition, mental illness, or worse yet demonic. It is a possibility that Father M has received visions that were not from God. The devil can tell us things that are true to get us to believe lies. So it concerns me when I see people follow the same logic. “Father M said x and y so z must be true.” Even if we do see some of the things he said happen it does not guarantee it came from God. The confusion, chaos, and straight out heresy lead me to believe otherwise.
I can't say with 100% certainty that I won't wake up tomorrow morning transformed into a giant cockroach, either. You can't seriously want to shift the burden of proof here (argument from ignorance). But, more to the point, The bishops' letters instruct the faithful according to canon law. There is no need for "formal condemnation" nor a need for a formal investigation. Read the Vatican guidelines for investigating private revelations, cited in the last few pages. The bishops have spoken out on Fr. Rodrigue's character. Continuing to claim something after the bishops have disavowed him and his messages is not a point in his favor.
Earth to angels, I am very sorry you continue to deny the bishops' official statements on Fr. Rodrigue. The bishops are not giving their personal opinions on what they have "surmised." .
First by doing as our Lady of Fatima said and pray the rosary daily. I have done as much, with few exceptions for nearly 40 years. First and foremost I educate myself and pray the rosary daily and with my family of 11 children when they were home. Some believe and others not so much. Regardless, I have done what is being asked of me as a father and husband. It was our Lady of Fatima that brought my Catholic faith alive decades ago, when I heard, studied and believed in her messages. She continues to teach me via prayer and provides confirmations. Secondly, I have spent time in the front of our Lord in the blessed sacrament nearly daily for to many years to count. This is where I feel the confirmations and convictions I hold are given. Third I frequent the sacrament of confession, again as our Lady of Fatima requsted monthly if possible. Fourth, I have studied and kept open to what God desires the faithful to know through his popes, saints and prophets for many decades. I go with what I believe the Holy Spirit has given. One could go on and on, but you get the idea. Some believe and some doubt. I know what I have been convicted of and that is what I stand on. Each to their own, but I cannot deny what the Spirit has given. With all I have said, God does not desire us to 'put a bushel basket' over the light he provides. So I share this because you ask. I am unafraid and know this is the spirit he gave me, to share with those who have ears to hear. Most don't, as it was in the days of Noah and the days of Sodom, but it does not keep me from trying. Pray, trust and hope is what I try and do. Finally, I don't care a bit that others reject what I believe God has given me. I have been on this forum long enough to know there are those who believe in the modern day prophets and the gift of living in the divine will and those who reject them both. But one thing is sure, though all sinners, we will all answer to the same God one day and he knows I have tried to do the best with what he has given me.
You believe I am "pompous". God will judge me and not you or anyone else for what I have said and what i beleive. I will leave it at that.
No judgement here, Fatima. Yep, you are all His. I’ll be clearer: your words carry a pompous tone as you consistently put down others who do not agree with you from your lofty chair. I will leave it at that.
Simple....I never did. Why would you, on your own, substitute the "bishops" for merely "others"? That's not very respectful to them....or, in fact to me. Perhaps the gift of chutzpah! Now then, your next erroneous accusation? No doubt it's coming down the track.
This is the truth. It's a bit like saying a patient is probably going to die when they are lying in ICU on a Ventilator as a Prophesy. Huge events are happening almost daily at the moment. What else is new? The entire planet is in ICU.
Perhaps because the original post looked like this. Were you not responding to what I said? Because you have your facts "conveniently" wrong as so much has been quoted, not necessarily coming from Fr. Michel himself, but from others who have written their own "takes" on what they have surmised about him. Meanwhile Fr. Michel continues on the mission that he was given via his alleged mystical experiences within the territory of Quebec diocese, as being permitted to him obviously, but without any connection with either Bishop, as stated by each, other than via mail by post office as stated in writing by the Quebec bishop w/ the openness and hope of Fr. Michel for any further possible collaboration, sent to both as well as to the other authority within said diocese. I might say that, as the future approaches, he will have that collaboration even if only in private!!! .
I guess you have all the answers, Sir. If you only knew the humble souls I have encountered in my life with experiences similar to your own listed here, it would make you blush in humiliation at the knowledge of their goodness and the love of Christ that lives within them. They exude it and they are, slowly but surely, winning souls for God’s Kingdom. I write here each time in defense of their kind and their holy labors~AN
Daniel O'Connor's latest thoughts on Fr. Rodrigue and October "I’m sorry to pester you with yet another announcement on this, but as we now stand on the cusp of the long awaited October 2020 (during which Fr. Michel says there will be “great” events, whereas during Fall 2020 in general Fr. Michel says the Chastisements — the Purification — will begin), I feel I should reiterate the same-old-same-old: "Please do NOT go doing anything imprudent on the pretense of “But Fr. Michel says _____.” As I’ve always said, I think we should take him seriously — but not assume his prophecies are authentic, much less necessarily fully accurate. I am not convinced one way or the other, though until the events themselves reveal whether Fr. Michel’s prophecies are authentic or not, I’ll gladly defend him against unjust criticisms in the meantime. Above all, even if refuges are real — and I think they are — do not adopt a “refuge mentality.” That is survivalism, which is a sin. Fr. Michel himself certainly has not advocated for this. All he’s saying is get 3 months of food — simple common sense says as much. The refuges are already built, he’s saying. Don’t go deciding you have to build one unless God has clearly told you to do so! Don’t stop paying your bills! Don’t stop doing your job! Keep doing everything God has already called you to do!! Don’t decide you need to now become a farmer or turn your whole yard into a chicken coup just so that you’re “ready” for what’s coming! (That won’t make you ready anyway, it will just clutter up your life and distract you from your calling.) First of all, Fr. Michel himself is not contradicting any of this advice; secondly, we cannot be certain he is an authentic prophet anyway..." Daniel O'Connor's latest thoughts on Luz de Maria "I am aware that Luz de Maria mentions “blessed grapes” (and even once seemed to refer to “mind control,” which I’ll address below). I think that Luz is authentic, but, as I’ve said before, I wouldn’t go so far as to say 100% of her messages are 100% supernatural in every single solitary claim contained within them. I suspect some human subjectivity has innocently made its way in there, so I do not necessarily absolutely stand behind something just because it’s briefly mentioned in one of her messages (instead, I especially focus on heeding the “main thrust” of her messages: the urgent need for our spiritual response in light of the imminent Chastisements, Warning, and Era of Peace). "When it comes to promoting “blessed grapes,” something tells me that Heaven has better things in mind for the Faithful — in those messages it authentically, directly, and fully inspires — than for them to spend their time pestering their busy priests to have them bless their grapes and then rubbing grapes together to “transfer the blessing” from one to another. Furthermore, the genesis of this particular practice traces its origins, not to Luz de Maria, but to a condemned apparition (one we do not have on CTTK)..." Mystics of the Church website has open discussion on O'Connor's post. Originally posted at https://dsdoconnor.com/author/danieloconnor/ .
Yes. And what I stated still stands. I can't control your thinking process or comprehension which had you replace "bishops" for the "others" who have, on their own, offered what they surmise Fr. M meant, etc., and place their own mistakes at various places. You can't find those particular statements coming from Fr. Michel himself within the limited information via one of the retreats. You had asked the question at the end of your comment to which I replied >>>>>Why should we watch videos in light of that? Well, from their own written statements both bishops speak to NOT knowing all that much about Fr. Michel's ministry, but they especially didn't know him all that well, personally. The bishop of Amos speaks of a period of at least 3 years when he acknowledges Fr. M's speaking engagements in America: Beginning in 2017, on several occasions, Father Rodrigue went to the United States to preach retreats; in 2019, the frequency became greater. And yet he did not know what one of the active priests in his diocese was speaking about throughout that rather long period of time.....until a commenter on a blog asks the bishop about his association w/ Fr. M's messages given within these appearances. And since he is now publicly associated with this priest getting public attention he answers that he doesn't agree with the messages. He states that he doesn't have a clue about any of this since it took place in America. Huh? That's how your "knowing him personally" and "supervising his work" is carried out? That's a pretty low bar for "supervision". One can also find other places within the diocese of Quebec itself where he spoke. And what the bishop speaks to about Fr. Michel is what is "presented about him" on a site. That pertains to what I spoke to re: it's about what "others" have said and that is not necessarily accurate of the true facts. So that's from what you note as his personal "supervision of his work"? Well, in court that would be considered as a statement of hearsay. Again, quoting what others have written or said about the father who themselves have discovered that such definitive statements did not come from Fr. M himself. Then we have the written statement of the other bishop, of the diocese of Fr. M's incardination, of his own type of "up close and personal acquaintance" and "supervision" (not) of Fr. M. Bishop Bourgon recalled that from 1989 to 1996, (7 years) Father Rodrigue worked in parishes of the Ontario diocese. He then left the diocese and moved to Montreal with the Sulpicians. "We had no news of him for many years," he added. "Although he is still incardinated in our diocese".... He then speaks to the assignments in the diocese of Amos which continued until recently. I mean, that's a period of 24 years and there is no mention of resuming any new acquaintance with Fr. M. or of any personal study of the whole matter in order to acquire all of the facts that would, in due diligence, be expected from any bishop in such circumstances, after such a long period of time, including some kind of communication with the priest in question. Instead there is simply a statement of agreeing with the Bishop of Amos. That's, again, your "personal knowledge and supervision of his work"? Again, "meanwhile Fr. Michel for any further possible collaboration." He now merely "resides in the Diocese of Amos"! He remains a priest in good standing with the Church as does his fraternity. All of Fr. M's pastoral assignments within diocese of Amos were "verbal agreements" of limited number of years each that he made with the Bishop. The Bishop agreed to discontinue certain of those assignments and replace them with less strenuous ones due to the needed time of Fr. R in order to quickly build the 2nd monastery. All of this mission, remember, came out of the alleged mystical experiences. So of course, now that the bishop of Quebec has no longer any connection to Fr. M, Fr. M had to "renounce" those assignments. To insinuate, as one here has done, that Fr. M abandoned the flock, been a bad "shepherd", is simply a personal attack rather than the reality of the current situation. When anyone states that a judgement of "condemnation" isn't important (as also has been done here) or doesn't mean anything, then he/she is the one teaching error of what the Church orders about the official Church study and judgements of PRs. There are 3 possible judgements and "Condemnation" is one of those.....and that follows the ordered protocol for any official examination of such. None of that has occurred while Fr. M is still permitted to continue that mission on the property of the Quebec diocese.
