These might also be group-thinking snowflakes panicing at their own propaganda. The last people I would believe on this planet would be the denizens of RTE.

What's most apparent is the rapid enthusiasm to do this. Also the almost absolute lack of Faith and the almost complete wordly concern.

Yes, many stores are limiting supplies. Yesterday while on a stock up shopping, I went home almost empty handed as most were out of many things on my list.

I’m not so sure that the Vatican has cancelled all Masses in Italy. I read the article and it stipulates the Diocese of Rome. I do gather that the secular government is forbidding civil and religious gatherings. I think that is the gist of it. Please correct me if I am wrong, but I don’t want to read something incorrectly into a pronouncement.

I translated that Italian article as I don’t read Italiano and it sounds like all but this is using the free Google translate:

The cardinal of Florence Giuseppe Betori and the bishop of Albano, Marcello Semeraro, among the first took the initiative to address the priests of their dioceses to recommend suspending the celebration of masses in these days as required by the decree approved last night by the Government , which in the general part, that is, the one not dedicated to containment areas, states: "civil and religious ceremonies are suspended, including funeral ceremonies". But he declares that places of worship can remain open if the safety distance between people is respected.

To some, this formulation seemed ambiguous, also because by those who live the Christian life, mass is not considered "a ceremony".

In the afternoon, on Rai Uno, Professor Walter Ricciardi, Italian representative of the WHO and ministerial adviser, however, clarified: "religious ceremonies of any kind cannot be held. This is not to say that churches cannot be opened. Today mass cannot be done anywhere in Italy. " "Masses with the faithful are suspended in Rome from today until April 3," the spokesman for the Vicariate Fr Walter Insero told ANSA.

thats my reaction. These men do not have Faith. Even to just withhold the blood shows lack of Faith. It’s a literal miracle that occurs at every Mass where plain wine is turned into the blood of our Lord. Do they really think God would allow diseases to be spread while we participate in that miracle? Sigh

Thanks for this. It does look grim. It still seems to say that the Church has suspended Masses in Rome until April 3, and the secular powers have declared that religious ceremonies of any kind cannot be held in Italy anywhere.

So we now have 3 servicemen infected in US. A sailor and a Marine and an army soldier. In Italy and in DC and in Korea. Thinking 1918 when the Spanish flu went like a brush fire thru the military. Drip drip drip. News item by news item. Trying to keep focused on Our Lord.

  11. I thought it was just in the north of the country, they did this in Rome?! I wonder if that's ever happened before.

I have a strong feeling the NWO have some kind of dirt on bono. I also was very disappointed when I discovered what a stooge for Soros he has become.

  14. Yeah, I thought it was really disappointing when he started supporting the homosexual stuff. There's a video of him thanking Cardinal McCarrick at a concert that hasn't aged well, either, lol.

its not just Rome or the northern quarantined area. It’s all of Italy. Unprecedented. The Italian Bishops Conference (equivalent to our USCCB in the US) put out this statement saying they are going along with the governments order to cancel all Masses throughout Italy through early April

For Irish viewers - are the HSE only categorising cases as North South East or West? The Midlands don't have a case yet - or maybe they are only using 4 categories?

No, you are not wrong HH. I am thinking there will be Masses at certain churches, but they have made no official announcement yet. There was a lot of talk about this on Twitter, and everyone was wondering.
