I woke up this morning at 3 am on the button. I know it was on the button because I could see in red lights on my bed room ceiling from my wonderful little clock light gadget. Not a second earlier, not a second later on the button. Like many Catholics I write this off to my Guardian Angel giving a good shove, because this is the hour when people are most tempted and the body is most weak. The hour of Temptation at Gethsemane when the angel of comfort was sent to help Jesus.
This morning I at once began to sing the Divine Mercy prayer but this morning suddenly the words had overwhelming significance and meaning. I understood they were specially written for our times. 'For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world....'
Thanks Padraig fot the image - very handy -- I have saved it to my computer for convenience & as a wee reminder to say it - beautiful prayer & powerfull too.
I woke too Padraig but it was 2:59am. Seeing that in my tired state still seemed quite meaningful and stuck out in my heart.
Two nights ago the same happened to me and I too prayed the DM chaplet. Actually this has happened a lot recently.
