Bible Study

  1. This year, I am doing a few things different. I have decided to head up a Bible Study. I have never done this before. Its from a book I bought myself for Christmas. Its "The Year of Faith" by Fr. Mitch Pacwa.

I'm excited to get out and do this. I have discovered I have been somewhat of a hermit/homebody for to long. I posted something on a local homeschool loop the other day and a woman wrote me and said she liked what I wrote and asked if we could have coffee sometime. My kids knew her daughter from some homeschool activity. We ended up spending 3 hours in a coffee shop just talking. I realized that I need to get out more after visiting with this wonderful lady. I MISS IT!! Her reaching out to me has changed my attitude and my perspective about many things. I came home refreshed, invigorated and at peace about several things that I have been struggling with. It helped to talk to Gail afterwards too! She reminded me that these things that had suddenly burst wide open were things that I had spoken to her about and asked her to pray about months ago! My poor memory!

So. I am going to step out in faith and start this Bible study and make some friends. I know my family will be happy that I am happy.
