Whenever I see the word "soon", I run. The most overused word in these so-called apparitions. It could mean anything.
Mac, you need to take this up with St. Paul, not me. This is his words, which were and still are inspired by the Holy Spirit. Prophecy is not an 'all or nothing' 'black and white proposition as you would like it to be. I take his words to mean that we must allow the Holy Spirit to work in the hearts of the faithful, in the spirit of our deposit of faith, to discern authentic prophecy. One of the benchmarks for authenticity is that they do not contradict Church doctrine. Another is that prophetic statements at some point are validated and invalidated by there very predictions. This is one of the reasons that many have not given up on LTTW, but are cautious about them, because they often times seem worldly. Those who pre-conclude that any particular message is false, even before the Church has done so, is fine to do, as it is not essential to believe in anything other than the deposit of faith (church doctrines). However, as St. Paul expressed we should not despise the Holy Spirit and prophecy and many of us will heed those words as they come from God. Also Mac, the Church had not ruled on Fatima or any other prophetic message from heaven at one point. Would you have been one of those at the Cova in Fatima who were mocking three children, or mocking Bernadette at Lourdes, because the Pope hadn't ruled on them yet? We must be prudent, but not condemning of alleged messages from heaven that have not received church approval, unless and until they have been rejected by the church.
Some fair points Fatima. To answer this question ' Would you have been one of those at the Cova in Fatima who were mocking three children, ' I hope I wouldnt be mocking them, but until the Miracle of the Sun I probably wouldnt give them much thought.
I appreciate your honesty. At least you are consistent with your position on prophecy. Myself, of all the current 'pending' alleged prophecy of our time, I am completely sold on Garabandal, highly convinced of Pedro Regis and Medjugorje and nearly unconvinced of LTTW. I don't buy into messages easily, I tend to read on them extensively and discern in the light of the church teachings and whether the Holy Spirit seems to be working through them.

After reading about the crucifixions in Syria I got to thinking about what the LTTW messages said about Syria AND that Mark Mallett had had 'part' of his illumination of conscience while in L.A. and told us all that what was to come was "no less than Rwanda" all over again.... I think this is what our Lady is trying to tell us regarding the messages about Syria... Summary of World Events Locutions (Note: Over these two years, I did not publish some locutions which have spoken of world events. Now, a picture has emerged which is best described by the following summary. I use the verb “would” to mean a prophecy that is already fulfilled, and the verb “will” to refer to some future event. The Beginning Sign In December 2010, a clear sign was prophesized. After this, the locutions would begin. “A country will go from light into darkness overnight”. I am a new member but long time lurker. I just noticed that there are 2 new special locutions on LTTW one dated April 30 and May 2nd. There are also a few new ones about Putin and Russia under the previous April 25 to Present that you may have missed. Following is the one from May 2nd. I'm' from the USA I hope and pray these locutions are legit given the subject matter of this one. I don't even recognize my country any more. May 2, 2014 Jesus Just as I surrounded Pharaoh and his army with darkness so they could not destroy the Israelites, so I will cast a darkness over the Obama administration so it cannot further harm America. For these remaining years, his administration will be covered by greater and greater darkness, by questions which will come from every side. This darkness will come wave after wave, halting all his efforts that would hurt America. Only when America’s safety is endangered will I grant a moment of light. Once again, these are words anyone of us could surmise without messages from heaven. I am still waiting for something huge that LTTW reveals that would validate the messages by coming true that we could not otherwise figure out ourselves by looking the signs of the times.
I've read those last 2 special locutions and find them lacking what I would consider a divine type message. But I'm no expert that is for sure. The line I am putting the EU leaders on notice of what can happen....well if they are all secular and don't have faith they certainly aren't going to get or accept this notice. This is the type of wording that makes me question these as real. Also if Jesus is giving 2 special messages to the world would the sole focus be Putin and Obama with not a word on praying, trusting, love, preparing ones soul or spiritual battles ahead. Especially love, we all want to hear Jesus loves us and we can trust in him going forward in these challenging times but nothing like that here.Well time will tell I guess. Sorry, but its a symbolic Michael. Mike Huckabee is for Common Core which is diabolical (Pope Francis called it an 'experiment' )and he is to divisive within the ranks. He is hot and cold on issues. Now that I have a better 'understanding' of prophesy and what it entails I like LTTW messages better. If you read the 1st 365 days they all speak about love, forgiveness, the sacraments, confession, the truth of the One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church and the solid primacy of Peter. We already know about the 'annihilation of nations' how about the missing words of the 3rd secret? 2. Would Our Lady refer to herself in the third person? from true visits she refers to herself as ' I ' as expected. Forgive the Seinfeld but these locutions are a joke
When I read some of these locutions I feel only anxiety, so I'm inclined to avoid them. I realize this is completely subjective, but since I don't sense the love that I do with G and M, I think I'll pass.
