35 year old husband and father of 2 girls dying of cancer

  1. Summer 2022 a 33- year-old husband and father of 2 girls had right kidney removed because of cancer. He battled through a difficult recovery and was presumably cancer free. Over the next two years they experienced a house fire that displaced their family for 7 months, his wife was in a car accident that has impacted her ability to return to work full-time.

Then in 2024 he was brought to the emergency room when he woke up with severe numbness from his waist down. He had been experiencing pain and numbness for the past few months leading up to this and was working with a team of providers that were unable to identify what the underlying cause was. While in the emergency room, Bradley was informed that the cancer had returned and was in his spine, liver, and bones. This time there is no surgery or cure, only treatment and improving his quality of life.

He ended up needing 4 surgeries to repair a femur brake, 2 of which were needed to clean out infections, and the final one to replace the rod with an antibiotic-coated rod to prevent more infections. He was on IV antibiotics for most of that time.

By October 2024 he restarted the oral chemo and was experiencing some negative side effects, sleeping a lot, and decreased appetite and others that his wife wouldn't mention. . His back pain got significantly worse and he was seeing the oncologist getting a CT scan to see if there are more fractures in his back.

Just before Easter of 2025 our Carmelite community was asked for prayers from his wife for her husband.

You see her husband had no faith whatsoever, and was dying.

His wife is a committed adorer of the Eucharist. Many, many tears. Her husband has experienced a fairly steep decline and has been refusing hospice.

We received word that he has said yes to Jesus in the last week. Praised be Jesus Christ, now and forever! He is now a fully integrated member of the Catholic Church!!!

God writes straight with crooked lines.

Your prayers for this family are very much appreciated.

So powerful. God loved him so much that he brought him this wonderful woman to be his wife and she has now prayed him into Heaven! Im sure her grief is very huge but I pray and based upon what you described her faith will tell her that her reward will be great in Heaven when its her turn to leave this earth. She will no doubt here from tge Lord... your faith is amazing now come a join me forever.
