I'm not going to answer your questions because this is a discussion forum where we freely share opinions, information and knowledge in an effort to help each other. If I wanted to test my knowledge in a quiz I would go to a quiz website.

Most here defend the Russians, as far as I can see. We're more inclined to ' bite and bark' at the Obama/Clinton war criminals, I would think.

I think we lose little the scope of this thread, that us, shouldFatima fulfill by Oct 2017 we may walk into the era of peace as soon as November less than 11 months!

Here were views that is just the start of great tribulation. We do not know. Our Lady didn't talk of antichrist in the known parts of Fatima, Garabandal, Medjugorje, etc. Indeed there are numerous locutions that talk about that. But if even angels and Jesus don't know...If we know the antichrist comes tomorrow we will know the exact day when Jesus comes too. Apparently that wouldn't be known up until it is a done fact. Does it mean we should be microchipped? No! But even that we can't be sure to be the mark, it seems to be today, as it seemed something else 100 y ago. So we don't know. I guess, Great warning will tell us.

I forgot where I read Fatima original paper has date. I remember clearly. Was it a priest who had a leak and wrote a book? I just don't recall it. But even the semi official Neues Europa has a relative date. Why so convincing pope John Paul and card Ratzinger in2000 if they didn't know a date? Most likely it was given as time period related to end of century or a major feast. That is what I can say about it.

 

Strange how many do not want to consider soon to happen happy end. Great warning is said to continue minutes, miracle will happen in one day, Chastisement 3days. We can very well have all done by summer. Sure chastisemdnt will be terrible, but that's why it is promised the era of peace! I'm optimistic then..!In less than 11 months the current world will be transformed ...For thousand years or less? Before the final end times? There are many such views as you know well. That the current era however bad does not equal to the great tribulation for a number of reasons. Of course there are those who present arguments contrary, time will tell

 

I do not understand why this tread was sidelined after an absurd spat of someone that didn't have much to do with the topic...Many important things have been said there. Should someone type them again and again in other threads? Malachi Martin is far from being exhausted. I quoted old tread that said quite much of Martin's last interviews. Is that not interesting for the posters too. I just don't understand. I came back to this forum months later because now it seems Fatima comes to conclusion. And here are people who know all of that. Good if they post in other threads. Bad if they just wait the date when pope Francis will announce the 100th anniversary...It might be too late

 

This is one good substantial thread that should continue. Not because I started it but because it says important things and quotes important people, like Malachi Martin.

This forum should rediscover it's original purpose. If I want to read negativity about papacy, there are other sources and more informative.

I am here not to sell out my views, even less to change my views regarding the church, but to hear something more about recent prophecies and apparitions I don't know!

If there isn't such drive after the holy Christmas, I dont know why should I lose time anymore. Again, if I want to read how bad the Catholic hierarchy is, I could watch Steve Quayle who speaks much more erudite than the respected posters here who do that for whatever reason. I could learn from him and other protestants because they are both intelligent and knowledgeable, although i do not agree with them.
I would not need forum like that for such a purpose.

Forum like that should have had for a purpose to make more clear messages of the Mother of God, from recent apparitions that may not be all officially approved but which are not banned either.

I will give my own dating, for the purpose all devote people who read here to take it as possibility and draw their own scenarios that might be closer to the truth than my own.

Holy pope Francis announced he is going to visit Fatima again on may 13 2017. Why? He was once there and was consecrated to Our Lady by all Portuguese bishops. Then he could choose the date Oct 13 to landmark the end of the 100 the jubilee year.

He goes in may because by may the big final event wouldn't have happened yet and there would still be time to change hearts and minds of faithful.

The final dramatic event should happen within the 100 years. Our Lady could've said, before the end of the century, or before the final month of the century. I will repeat for the last time, there is a date set in the original Fatima paper. I know that from one of the many reports of from Gruber I think. There were many priests who visited SR lucia and who wrote books. It is humanly impossible to remember all that was printed before the internet age...I remember it was said by Fatima devoted source.

Indeed the official release in 2000 wouldn't have happened if both card. Ratzinger and st.pope John Paul hadn't been sure the date set had passed. Only it was not numerical date, so they made the error the who!E world made by celebrating year2000...We should excuse them because they acted in good faith.

If the final event was set three months before the end of century, I.e. before may, then there wouldn't be any need for pope Francis to go...Perhaps the century ends by the date the message was given I.e. July 13 1917 2017 not October! That is proven by the visit moved from October to may. It was intended to be October.

That doesn't mean other events can't happen before may. They are rather likely. Should they be the ones described in Garabandal, or somecombination between different apparitions, we still don't know. Imo they will start no later than march and continue to shortly after may, let fix itto june. Therefore, my thread should be renamed to 3 months more...

 

2017...only 10 months left? Is it me or has anyone else been able to see beyond 2017...after all...have we seen one prophecy fulfilled...given by the plethora of modern day prophets. Surely it does not take a prophet to hear a train coming around the bend.
If 2017 comes and goes and things remain the same...what saith the prophet?
This is a time to be cautious...but also a time when God is challenging His faithful to trust fully in His Divine Providence. We must be careful to always seek His Will and surrender to His movements of the Spirit.
Maybe 2017...maybe not.

You are saying that the reason the secret was released was because Our Lady mentioned a time frame 'before the end of the century' which was misunderstood as being 2000 when really it was 1917-2017?

And the time frame is in the months leading to May 2017?

Have I missed her exact words? Did she give this indication to Sister Lucia?

 

Actually some within the Divine Mercy Devotion who are privy to what the intentions of JPII were for the Year 2000 state that he (through the Holy Spirit) intended for "everything" to happen for the Church and the world in that year. That is why he used the years preceding the year 2000 to prepare the world and the Church for such great happenings of Grace. He dedicated each of the preceding 3 years as a big lead up and to educate the faithful and to give time for such education/realization to prepare all for the necessary openness of hearts and souls for such graces. But the Church as a whole did not respond during the lead up to nor understand then just what was meant for that special year, 2000, to the degree necessary and required by heaven for such graces to be given at that time....the time desired by heaven but always working through a necessary response by the Church. (and many could say that such response has not been given as well to Fatima, or, perhaps, Garabandal within the awaited time) And so the time of Mercy.....JPII's entire papacy was about the Unfathomable Mercy as was given to St. Faustina/he realized that.....was extended until his death in 2005....why he did not resign himself but offered all up for the accomplishment of this Mercy mission. Now since 2005, time of his death, "Justice" has been "kissing" Mercy and gradually overcoming it until the Warning after which there will be only Justice.

This cooperation of the Church is always required and respected by heaven. And this is often why original messages/prophecies speak to expectations by heaven and graces intended to be given within a particular time frame determined by God, but when such intentions are not met with the cooperation of the Church and/or the faithful then we see that graces are lessened from what was expected or delayed or missed altogether. If then certain "miracles" expected from messages that outlined the desires of the Father for His children do not come to fruition during humanly expected or reasoned times it could be due to the lack of response also expected by the Father to merit such graces....and isn't necessarily because the messages or "messengers" are fraudulent. The simple ones give only what they are told or are given and why so often they give no interpretation; just what they are told at the time that is the intention of heaven at the time.

 

I agree no change in dates for these events but I am not certain that what you state will happen. Instead, I pray the Warning occurs which prevents a schism but also increases chaos in the world until things settle again. I don't believe that we will have entered an Era of Peace by the end of 2017 but by the end of the year some major events will have taken place which will set us on course for that to happen in a few years. Time will tell.

Before I come as the just judge, I am coming first as the King of Mercy. Before the day of justice arrives, there will be given to people a sign in the heavens of this sort:

I loved that post earthoangels, and it goes well with this thread. Taking into account the year of Mercy that just ended which makes one wonder does Holy Father know the time spoken of by Jesus to Saint Faustina is at our door.

Of course we don't know, and maybe by the end of 2017 we will still be making guesses as to when the Lord will send His Heavenly Mother to rescue us. I think the Illumination/Warning will happen as part of the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. The Warning seems it might be like a mini judgement to me, and that would correct the conscience of most people. Some would refuse to believe no matter what God permits to convince us about the reality of Heaven and hell. We just have to keep praying and hoping for God to help us and save us, especially our loved ones who are away from the Church.
