This page is very good for those who are learning or wish to learn about the faith - or for apologetics:

    ________________
Most Christians know Mary as gentle.
    Quiet.
    Obedient.
But very few understand how dangerous she is to the kingdom of darkness.
From the very beginning of Scripture, before Mary is even named, she is already announced.
In Genesis 3:15, after the fall of Adam and Eve, God speaks to the serpent:
“I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers.”
    Notice something strange.
In the ancient world, lineage was traced through the father. Yet here, the victory over the serpent comes through the woman and her offspring.
    This is not ordinary language.
The Bible is already pointing forward, not just to Christ, but to the woman uniquely connected to His victory.
Mary is not an afterthought in salvation history.
She is part of the battle line.
Now go to the Annunciation in Luke 1.
When the angel Gabriel appears, he does not greet her by her name first. He says, “Hail, full of grace.”
In Greek, the word used is kecharitōmenē. It is a perfect passive participle, meaning she has been completely graced in the past and remains in that state.
This is not a momentary blessing.
    It is a condition.
The angel does not describe her as becoming holy. He addresses her as already transformed by grace.
That is why the Church speaks of her Immaculate Conception, not as decoration, but as preparation. The Ark of the Covenant in the Old Testament had to be pure gold, untouched by corruption. How much more the womb that would carry God Himself?
And here is what many never notice:
In 2 Samuel 6, when David brings the Ark to Jerusalem, he says, “How can the Ark of the Lord come to me?” The Ark remains in the hill country of Judah for three months. David leaps before it.
    Now read Luke 1 carefully.
Elizabeth says, “Why is this granted me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?” Mary stays in the hill country of Judah for three months. And John the Baptist leaps in the womb.
    Luke is not being poetic.
He is identifying Mary as the New Ark.
The Ark carried the tablets of the Law, the manna, and Aaron’s priestly staff.
Mary carried the Word made flesh, the true Bread from heaven, and the eternal High Priest.
This is theology hidden in narrative.
But here is the part many were never taught:
Mary’s greatness is not only in giving birth to Jesus. It is in her cooperation.
When Gabriel announces the plan, heaven waits.
    God does not force her.
The salvation of the world pauses for a young woman’s “yes.”
“Let it be done to me according to your word.”
    That sentence changed history.
And notice something else: the devil could not stop the Incarnation. But he tried to destroy the child. Herod massacres infants. Later, at the Cross, the dragon seems to win.
Yet in Revelation 12, a woman clothed with the sun appears, and the dragon cannot devour her child.
The battle continues, but she stands.
Mary is not worshiped as a goddess.
She is honored as the woman who crushed pride with humility.
Satan fell by saying, “I will not serve.”
Mary rose by saying, “I am the servant of the Lord.”
That is why her humility is a weapon.
That is why the Rosary unsettles darkness.
It forces the mind to meditate on the mysteries of Christ through the eyes of the one who knew Him best.
    Mary does not replace Jesus.
    She magnifies Him.
    “My soul magnifies the Lord.”
And that is what hell cannot endure — a human creature so filled with grace that she reflects Christ without distortion.
You were taught she was gentle.
You were not taught she was strategic.
You were taught she was quiet.
You were not taught she was prophesied.
You were taught she was blessed.
You were not taught she was part of the war against the serpent.
    Mary’s power is not independent.
It is entirely dependent on Christ.
But precisely because she belongs completely to Him, she is dangerous to everything that opposes Him.
And once you see her in Scripture, from Genesis to Revelation, you will never see her as a side character again.
    God bless you.

Concerning the above, besides being beautiful, poetic, and true, it is reinforced and reflected in the prayers of the Auxilium Christianorum whose members support the ministry of Fr. Ripperger and his fellow exorcists in battling against the evil one. Our Lady holds an honored place in both the prayers and the warfare!:notworthy::cool:(y)

O Mary conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee!

    How truly lovely.

When I was young people rarely talked about exorcisms now exorcists many of them saintly appear to be all over the place. Why is this? It must be because we need it at this present time. \The devil as we can see with the Epstein Files seems to be pretty well Ruling the Roost at the moment.

I would guess Deep Devotion to the Mother of God is not a bolt on extra at the present time but truly essential. Also devotion to St Michael the Arcangel.

Fr Don Calloway recalling his conversion at 19 or 20 tells of his first discovery of Our Lady and how he wanted to join the Church ASAP. This after a life of terrible evil and rebellion. One night after literally crying over his sins he was asleep on the couch and a demonic presence entered and attacked him.. He screamed out " Maaary!" And it instantly fled. That is the power of her Name!

  10. St Mother Teresa wrote that she used to say that.. the Mary, Mary is from Father Ripperger..you are so welcome.

  11. I got chills when I read that. I love Father Calloway and his incredible story.

Something that can never be emphasized enough is that, at the foot of the Cross, Mary bore an infinite love for her Divine Son, who was enduring the worst possible sufferings; for the Eternal Father, who was involving her in the divine plan of salvation; and for humanity, which needed her full cooperation in that plan in order to attain salvation.

One thing worth highlighting about mothers is that they often suffer in silence, yet they spontaneously seek self-denial for the good of their children, all out of the purest love — a love that can be divided into infinite parts without being diminished. Even in the midst of a large family, mothers are able to direct their affection and concern to each of their children individually, as if each were their only one.

I believe that God rewarded Mary’s maternal love for us and her cooperation at the Cross with an active participation in the distribution of the graces that flow from Him. We see proof of this in the unique role Our Lady plays in the conversion of many people at the moment of death, as well as in her fundamental intervention shown in the vision of the Third Secret, when she prevents the flames of the angel’s flaming sword from striking the Earth.

One personal belief I have, and it’s quite radical, is that a large part of the Bible is actually about Our Lady. She’s in basically every Old Testament book, and in the New Testament, her appearances are either more or less obvious. Some theologians say that the Bible is God’s love letter to the world, but I’d take it a step further and say that the Bible is God’s love letter to His Handmaid.
