My elderly parents are considering signing up for the vaccine. In Massachusetts distribution for the vaccine begins February 1 for those 75+. They will begin with nursing home patients, and move on from there. Needless to say I am extremely concerned for them, especially for my dad who has health issues. I have asked them to hold off a bit longer to see how this goes. Anyhow, Massachusetts is lagging behind other states with the vaccine roll out, as it stands now they do not even have enough of it to distribute to the elderly, but after watching that alarming video perhaps it's a blessing. It seems as though reactions to the vaccine are all over the place, ranging from a sore arm, to death. It's a roll of the dice at this point, which of course goes back to inadequate clinical trials.
