I would like to ask for prayers for my second cousin, Avani. She is in her 60s and recently discovered a skin cancer below her eye. She had this disease 14 years ago, but it has returned. She is a very devoted Catholic and helps people greatly without asking for anything in return. On the 23rd of this month, she will undergo an exam to determine the stage of the disease, and I am earnestly praying for a miracle at this time. I am already grateful for all the prayers.
As am I. Dear Lady, Mother of the Church, please intercede with me on behalf Avani. As your Son did 14 years ago, may His healing love once more restore her to health!
Prayed for Avani and all on here today at Flame of Love Rodary and Mass this evening. Dear Lord please help.
Praying to Saint Lucy today. https://www.catholic.org/saints/saint.php?saint_id=75 I love the hymn they sing in Sweden. They sing to it to Nobel Prize winners when they wake them up on the morning of the prize giving. They celibrate her Feast there beautifully at Christmas and in all the other Nordic countries as of course in Sicily.. Santa Lucia Night comes with heavy steps through our land, calling. Sunlight, the earth forgets; shadows are falling. However dark the night, rising with candles bright, Santa Lucia! Santa Lucia! Though long may be the night, hope, she is bringing, Hear now, the maid in white, silently winging, Hushed wonder in the air, Lights glowing in her hair, Santa Lucia! Santa Lucia! "The darkness soon shall flee valleys in shadow, Sunlight I can foresee, over over the meadows, The sun will come again! Rise in the sky to reign!" Santa Lucia! Santa Lucia!
