The Lord told us that the Church would always be suffering, in different ways, until the end of the world. […] As for the news that we can discover today (in this Third Secret of the Fatima message), there is also the fact that not only are the Pope and the Church attacked from outside, but the sufferings of the Church come from interior of the Church, from the sin that exists in the Church. This too has always been known, but today we see it in a truly terrifying way: that the greatest persecution of the Church does not come from outside enemies, but arises from sin in the Church." —Pope Benedict XVI, on the flight back to Rome from Fatima on May 11, 2010, cited by Archbishop Georg Gänswein yesterday in Rome, during a presentation of the book by Rod Dreher, The Benedict Option, which he said caused him to recall the words of Pope Benedict on that occasion

At this stage, is any useful purpose served by not revealing the the entire third secret? The leaks about the apostasy in the Church starting at the top have been consistent and that's probably the only part of the prophecy in the third secret which has been completely fulfilled despite all the attempts to keep it hidden. It has been clear for years that there is widespread apostasy in the episcopacy, in the priesthood, in religious orders and among the laity. Whose interests are being served now by continuing to keep it secret? Are they protecting the reputations of those who gave the official interpretation and told us it was all in the past? Are they afraid that the Vatican's credibility will be undermined? If so, that dam has long since burst and been swept away by the never-ending flood of scandals. Wouldn't it be better for them and us to bring it all out into the open so we can make some preparations for what lies ahead? Those of us with an interest in prophecy will pray the Rosary, but what about the millions of Catholics who know nothing about Fatima? Our Lady understood that it can take a fear of annihilation to jolt some people out of their complacency. Evidently, our leaders thought they knew better. They didn't then and they don't now.

I wonder if anyone has heard if there is an end part to the Thrid Secret. I accept it probably deals with the Apostasy in the Church and maybe even a bad Pope , but I wonder if there is a final short paragraph dealing with the Triumph of MAry , the Restoration of the CHurch and how exactly this is going to occur?

If there is no such final paragraph to the Third Secret (and I suspect there is) has anyone seen a Prophecy elsewhere referring to this?

I am just guessing but it would seem logical that heaven having shown us the darkness would show us the coming Light.

    Thanks in advance.:):)

I'm sure there are others here who could better answer your question, but I think that the triumph of Our Lady's Immaculate Heart was prophesied in the third apparition. See attached from EWTN: https://www.ewtn.com/library/mary/firstsat.htm

I wonder if it was metnioned in the last part of the Third Secret too? Of course no one really knows for sure what the Third Secret was, I think we know most of it from the Church Release, but part of it was still kept hidden I think. I wonder if that is where Mary says exactly how heaven is going to fix things?

Don't think so. It looks more like the missing part is the interpretation of the vision, which might explain the Church being able to say that the vision was the secret. Then again, there have been all sorts of hints from various sources about natural disasters and there's nothing like that in the vision. I suppose we'll never know. It is possible that the interpretation was meant for the Pope's eyes only and not for general release. Didn't Lucy say at one stage that Our Lady told her she could write down what she had seen but not what she had been given to understand about its meaning?

Let's face it the Church release was a sham. Yes they released the vision but not its interpretation, namely the words of Our Lady that go with it and the crucial etc at the end of the enigmatic "in Portugal"...

Why would the vision itself be under absolute seal. What is so awful about the vision itself that Lucia needed divine intervention to commit it to writing. I remember when the message of Fatima came out with sodano et al and there consigning it to the past by identifying it with the failed assassination of JP II which it has no similarity with whatsoever.

I think it becomes much , much easier now to interpet the Secret now that it is taking place right before our eyes. I live in hope that someone like Cardinal Vigano might do us all a favour and release it.

I hope Pope Benedict is well. I ahve a feeling that he is under enormous pressure and threat at the momemt. I can't help notice he has stayed so silent about the Archbishop Vignano this. I would say he is being stepped on to refute Vigano but is not doing so.

Poor man. His silence is deafening, but it says much. Poor, poor man.

    Of course.

We can see why they would not release it for it would be to Indict themeselves. The 1960 date has always been troubling. No doubt in my mind it refers to the council. The peril of changes foretold by the Mother of God to the Church's divine liturgy in particular.

unfortunately I'd say you're right. I don't have inspired dreams or anything Like that but I recall a dream I had at least twice. All I remember about it is a terrible disturbance internally but also a disturbing sense of both a Violent upheaval of the planet coinciding with war. This is what I expect to be on the cards

Yes right before the War if the Consecration of Russia does not take place.

There is as much chance of Pope Francis making the Consecration as myself and the dogs making a moon landing.

These churchmen fear the secret. That is why it has never seen the light of day. I heard from a couple of sources--who knows if reliable--that spoke of a pope under the control of satan and thT John XXIII fainted when he read it terrified it might be him.

Another wonderful video from Dr. Marshall.
How incredible to imagine the Third Secret playing out right before our eyes. Akita also.

(Also, an interesting take on why Francesco couldn’t hear Our Lady.)

Fatima reminds me of the film ‘Back to the future’. In that film, November 5th 1955 was a date on which all the different strands of space and time seem to cross and revolve around.
In terms of Catholic prophecy, Fatima is the Catholic worlds Nov 5th 1955. Absolutely everything about the last couple of decades and the next God-knows-how-long seems to cross and revolve around the events of Fatima.

A good overview on why the third secret was never revealed, by Malachi Martin, who allegedly read it.

Yes, Malachi Martin said that (maybe others?).

    It's on youtube somewhere.

A little off-topic but Malachi Martin completely believed in Garabandal
