Being an "old" guy who was brought up in the Baltimore Catechism, I loved hisreference to it as it was ingrained in me as a kid and really us good to recall especially with all that us coming at us in this world: Q. Why did God make you? A. God made me to know Him, to love Him, and to serve Him in this world, and to be happy with Him forever in the next. Receiving the final blessing, with the sign of the cross is powerful as well. For those who leave Mass early they are missing a great grace through the sign of the cross. And remember, Judas was the first to leave Mass early and brought the cross of Jesus about through his betrayal.
