Just want to ask what you think then of Pope Paul XI saying 'the smoke of satan has entered the church' and Mother Mary's various messages especially at Akita: 'With the Rosary, pray for the Pope, the bishops and priests.'............... " the work of the devil will infiltrate even into the Church in such a way that one will see cardinals opposing cardinals, bishops against bishops. The priests who venerate me will be scorned and opposed by their confreres...churches and altars sacked; the Church will be full of those who accept compromises and the demon will press many priests and consecrated souls to leave the service of the Lord.
Also this: In March 2010, Father Gabriele Amorth, the chief Vatican exorcist, told Italian newspaper La Repubblica: “The devil resides in the Vatican and you can see the consequences. He can remain hidden, or speak in different languages, or even appear to be sympathetic. At times he makes fun of me. Byron, Thank you for your insight but I am fixed on my thoughts at the moment, as SGCatholic posted a good example of prophecy which helps me to understand the scripture and Revelation is clear that there will be a beast and a False Prophet, one in particular that we need to be concerned about near the end. Whether or not he is seated in the Vatican, only time will tell but we also have this scripture which seems to point to a city with seven mountains (or hills) which seems to point to Rome : Revelation 17:9 And here is the understanding that hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, upon which the woman sitteth, and they are seven kings: You are also referring to the following scripture and I am not certain how it describes America or Rome entirely, it may not be literal: Revelation 18 11 And the merchants of the earth shall weep, and mourn over her: for no man shall buy their merchandise any more. 12 Merchandise of gold and silver, and precious stones; and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine wood, and all manner of vessels of ivory, and all manner of vessels of precious stone, and of brass, and of iron, and of marble, 13 And cinnamon, and odours, and ointment, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men. 14 And the fruits of the desire of thy soul are departed from thee, and all fat and goodly things are perished from thee, and they shall find them no more at all. As the Lord told Daniel , the wicked will become more wicked and have no understanding of what's going on, but does who have wisdom, will understanded all, and we know that all the wisdom comes from Our Lord Jesus Christ.
According to the situation brewing in our Church. I believe our brother John in one of his letters, speakes about the enemy of Christ, the antichrist will be one of us, or was one of us. It could mean that there is a possibility that the antichrist could be someone in heirchy. It also says in Scripture, that this antichrist will sit in God's throne, here in earth. Just putting this out there ,as theory.
Trying to keep this on theory, it might make sense maybe a Pope, since the enemy of God will wage war on God's chosen. I think he cannot come in a destructive and totatly opposite from the truth, but slowly deceive many. Our brother Paul warns us about the devil. Paul said " As Satan disguise himself as the angel of light his servents will disguise themselves as people of good" May God rebuke Satan and all his followers in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Never fear. He knows what's in our hearts and that's what matters. By the way, I'm sure you're already doing this, but please continue to pray for our poor country... I fear we're on the brink of civil war, no matter who wins this nerve wracking election. With only 17 days to go, I get more nervous as each one passes. Makes me want to find a sweet little Irish cottage by the sea where I can hide till it's all over! When I feel my blood pressure going up, I try to remember that Our Lord is really in control, but I'm afraid we are about to get what we deserve for so many years of slaughtering our precious unborn. And I think what we deserve may entail economic collapse, massive natural disasters, and possibly nuclear attacks on our major cities. Please pray.
I think at the moment we tend to hear much more from the evil people who shout and cause trouble rather than from the good people who pray and so do not rant. Archbishop FUlton Sheen said a wonderful thing shortly before he died which was so insightful. He said we are very, very blessed to be living in these times of great trial bacuse to will lead us to great sanctity. I thought this was a wonderful way oflooking at things, that this great trial is a great chance. But I cannot recall a time when evil has walked so openly. It is as though they don;t even feel the needd to hide their wickedness but to boast of their evil. May God rebke Satan and sent him back to hell where he belongs. Praying for America at mass this morning.

Everyone from the US, please get out and vote Nov 8, even if you are disgusted with Trump. Whatever you do, get out and vote for the pro-life candidates running for the House and Senate. Also state representatives--so your state legislature does not get the votes to enact laws persecuting people of faith. Hilary is now dedicating some campaign time to boost down ballot liberal Democrats--we have to get out and be sure she does not have a Democratic congress to rubberstamp all her policies.
