Country where over 60 percent voted for abortion is dominated by evil. Still there is still great devotion to Our Lady. Pray pray pray
I do agree with places having an evil feeling. I live not far from an ancient stone circle. Many people come to visit it. I sense something evil about it. In recent years it has become a venue for humanist weddings and Halloween carry on. Problem with many is having departed from Catholicism they take up yoga, reiki and all sorts. I just pray always for the conversion of my country. I do feel like I'm an alien in my country and the politicians are mostly taken over by evil. They have blood on their hands. Anybody that voted for abortion made a pact with the devil.
I got that feeling visiting the village of Glastonbury in England. It felt like a portal to the Demonic. I was so glad to get out of it as quickly as I could.
The amazing thing is that these are very intelligent, well educated people doing all this. It's as if they have been bewitched. Surely some of the Doctors and nurses that listen to this must know its crazy. But everyone is afraid to say so.
It's beyond me how they can tolerate this utter rubbish. Of course they have the example of what has happened to Enoch Burke. Though I do think he should have initially taken his cast through the court. He antagonized the courts from day 1 which wasn't helpful to him. His suspension case has not been in court yet. It's heartbreaking to see what's happening and all I can think of is the total silence from the church.
There is a wonderful young priest in Belfast who speaks out all the time and who is often on the news. I was speaking to someone about him saying how much I admired him but was surprised he did not get in trouble with the Bishop for rocking the boat. I was then told that the Bishop secretly supported, agreed with and encouraged the young priest. I thought that this was great up to a point. But then it occurred to me to wonder why the Bishop had to, 'secretly', support him? Why could the Bishop not openly support him? Better still why could he not come out and speak out himself? It's so sad.
Yes that's it. The hierarchy are hiding. If the bishops spoke up it couldn't be ignored. I've never heard of that priest whereas a bishop or Bishops speaking out would make headlines.
There so very, very, very much they could speak out about, you could write a shopping list a mile long. But I hear that things have changed these days. Most priests no longer want to be Bishops. Maybe for that exact reason, that it puts them in the public eye? But I have some sympathy for them. Imagine if you were a priest or Bishop and got up in a pulpit and told things like they are. What would happen? Well there would be huge, huge kick back. Kick back from Catholics in the pews in the first place. I heard of a young priest in Australia who took over a Parish. He did things like wearing a cassock and preaching Catholic Doctrine. He had the most terrible time of it. They actually spat on him and abused him . His Bishop did not support him and he was removed. I was just reading about the death of Father Dolindo the other night. For most of his life his priestly faculties were removed and he was not allowed to say Mass. His own family denounced him. All because he told the truth. He died in a bare room lying on a camp bed. He literally had nowhere to lie his head. I hope if I were a priest of Bishop I would have the courage to speak out. But I am not sure if I would. There is a huge, huge price on the head of anyone who does so at the moment.
Yes you are right but they have responsibility. I know it's hard to speak the truth and especially to try and correct bad choices people make. Every parent has to do so and it's not easy. I don't think I always got it right. My husband was stronger than me. If nobody calls a halt where will people end up?
It's a very difficult one for priests. Many are, of course, more on board with 'Green' and 'Peace' agendas than most of their flock, but those who aren't realise that if they call a spade a spade, in other words preach of sin, Hell and Damnation, they will be rejected and cancelled. They might do better as they are, in the hope that some truth will stick and grow in the hearts of at least a few. It is a terrible situation. And so many of them are at an age they need to retire.
Yes I sympathise with them. They can only do so much. But I wonder, not only priests but all of us; I wonder if we are born in this generation for Martyrdom? As they were in the Catacombs. Especially young people.
The prospect of a Chastisement looks increasingly plausible. The Church-approved prophecies of Russian/Mohammedan invasion of Europe and the Revelation prophecies of Armageddon never appeared as likely. We must be in the middle of the great apostasy, it can't get much worse and it's certainly coming from the top. The power of television, in particular, and technological and newspaper media to deceive has probably been hugely underestimated. If there's a Chastisement or a great Martyrdom, it will be humanly terrible for those who are young now, who will bear the brunt of it, but it would be the best thing that could happen them in the Real, Eternal sense. May the Lord God have mercy on us all.
I always knew since I was a child that I was going to die as a Martyr for the Faith. This filled me with joy and such a hunger to have it already happened. As I get older I hunger for it ever more and am more certain it will occur. It is a huge consolation to me. A great joy.
