    ....To quote a caller from RTEs Live line on 21/Jul/14.
    It was an interesting show where the topic of having the Angelus broadcast on TV/Radio at 12 and 6 was openly discussed.

    I've posted a poll with this and would be interested to see what the members of this forum think, seeing as we are all Catholics.
    Atheist Ireland, surprise surprise, want it gone.
    Other callers said it was a waste of prime advertising space that could be better put to use and earn money for RTE or make the Church pay for it.
    Haven't the Catholics been inclusive enough here by making the imagery of the Angelus on RTE generic?
