Let's start a war for the sake of harvesting the benefit of such mineral wealth. What's that? Over a half-million persons in Ukraine have died in this war?

    Comparison:

That is a shame, but look what benefit the USA can derive. After all, we kill over a half-million babes in the womb every year. Here we can gain so much at half the death rate. so it's not nearly as evil.:cry:

I recently heard this theme at a Eucharistic Revival I attended. It talked about just how immense God is as Creator and just how small we are. There is a gap we can’t even imagine - our humans minds simply cannot wrap around the immensity of God. We are an electron :) But the equally amazing thing that also can sometimes escape our ability to really grasp us this immense God -Creator deigned to become one of us! He became an electron. :). He “hid” His glory in His human body. Interestingly, a talk one night said that if Jesus did not will to hide His glory while on earth people would not have been able to look at him. He will one time during Transgguration to reveal that to the apostles on that mountain. And He continues to cone and hide His glory in the Eucharist. Again, when we really take a moment to think about it that the same great infinitely great God-Creator who is so immense from his creature would come every Mass and be hidden in that little white host for us to consume we should just be in Fear and Awe. And yet, (said without judgement) so many Catholics don’t know this. Or and I am guilty of this at times allow it to become routine. I am so grateful we are in this year of the Eucharist and I do pray that all people become aware of what happens ONLY at the Catholic Mass when the words of Jesus (said through His priest) turn bread into his true and real body. God the Creator comes again !

Fascinating sign of great changes to come.

I wonder who this beautiful woman who told them 2000 years ago that the harmony of the world would be restored might have been…

I can’t forget what Jesus told St. Catherine of Sienna.

Do you know, daughter, who you are, And who I am? If you know these two things, you will be blessed. You are she who is not; whereas I am He who is. Have this knowledge in you and the enemy will never deceive you…“

Yes. Wonderful quote. We should be so mindful of this always. Certainly in our relationship with Our Lord but also with one another.

Wow. I had not heard this before. So so powerful. It reminded me of another part of the recent talk I heard…. He said if God ever stopped thinking about you, you would simply not exist. You would not even be “dead”, but not exist at all. And as we think of immensity of God, he thinks about everyone of his creature every moment for all time! Thank you God for your love in that you never forget us.

This reminds me of an amusing story read not long ago about Descartes: "I think, therefore I am" he said. When sitting in a café one morning the barista asked if he would like another cup of coffee. He replied, "I think not". And disappeared.

If I could go back in time to school philosophy would be a must. Sadly, we were led more to focus on getting a job than learning to think.......but it's never too late to start!

There's an article on ABC World News website today that is a sign, imho, that helps in "proving the infiltration of the Church" and the attempt being made to take Her down. There is a sect, being labelled as "christian" by ABC, that's clearly a satanic cult. Why are they using the word "christian" to describe a satanic cult? It's very subtle brainwashing here, if you ask me. It's not a war on words, it's a war using words.

Posting the link, but it's disturbing reading....

“He’s got the whole world in his hands…”

During a recent conversation about banal insipid music that’s often played in some Masses, this song came up.
    IMG_0835.jpeg
Observing the current state of the world, a friend quipped, “What if the “he” in this song is no longer God but the prince of the current world order?”

Something to think about in our current crisis.

    Cardinal Sarah is an inspiration...

"By practical atheism, I mean a loss of the sense of the Gospel and the centrality of Jesus Christ. Scripture becomes a tool for a secular purpose rather than the call to conversion. This is becoming more common among regions of the West, as too many do not take the faith seriously and treat it as a hindrance to dialogue."
