I believe that God limits his supernatural activity before the eyes of men, so that faith is always a free choice and a path of salvation. That is why, in my opinion, the Miracle of the Sun occurred at the beginning of the century, when television and its global reach did not yet exist. I realize that it is very common for ancient people, especially people from the countryside, to present a higher incidence of supernatural reports.
I saw a beautiful angel when I was 12. My brother had died a few months before that and mom asked for a sign that he was ok.
I have the fixed impression that God's greatest saints are hidden and will never be known until heaven. My greatest proof of this is the hidden lives of theHolyFamily. Breaddoes it's best work hidden inanoven.
My Spiritual Director told me that it's very, very common for dead loved ones return in the immediarperiod after death to comfort their families. This has always seemed logical and right to me. It fits into the Communion of the Saints.
TheBible is full to the brim with miracles and dreams. It is a major language of God speaking to us. People have forgotten this.He still speaks to us in our dreams but we don't listen,we are too busy on our smart phones.
I think of the hidden work of the copyist monks, who, throughout the history of the Church, played a fundamental role in the conservation and dissemination of the Word of God long before the invention of printing. If the House of God has many mansions, perhaps there is an exclusive wing in heaven for these "anonymous saints.".
I read a story about a Carthusian Monatsery recently were they are having building works done which necessitated the digging up of several monks bodies. One of the monks bodies was found to be incorruptible. Even though buried many years ago. The Prior shrugged and ordered the body returned at one. They didn't want the publicity
I wonder if one of the reasons Protestantism gave in to modernity was because it largely rejected the monastic and contemplative life. A life hidden in sacrifice and prayer wich sustains the church.
Wanted to share that I had another dream of the day of the Warning last night (I shared another on this thread in November when I had the previous one). It wasn't as vivid in terms of the light or explosions in the sky as I've seen before, but it seemed so real in the sense that I even was cognizant enough to wonder if this was just a dream or actual real. The main reason I'm mentioning it this time, however, is because of the lead up to falling asleep. I was having trouble falling asleep because of the events of yesterday, and feeling so much evil around. I'm never scared of the darkness front the night-I typically love the peace I feel in it. Not yesterday, however. When I finally did try to go to bed, I put holy water all around. And sure enough, evil did not threaten me when I slept/dreamt, but rather dreamt about the Warning, again. It feels closer than ever. But, the main lesson I learned last night is that God's power will ultimately overcome evil. And he cares so deeply about us, even when we are doing something seemingly as insignificant as sleeping. Satan may win some battles, but he will not win the war. In fact, he already lost it 2000 years ago.
I had a dream last night that a tsunami hit Belfast. I saw it crashing just over the two giant cranes that dominate the Belfast skyline at the Harland and Wolff shipyard. Goliath stands 96 metres (315 ft) tall, while Samson is a little taller at 106 metres (348 ft). So the tsunami was about 110 metres tall. I know Padraig has had recurring dreams of this tsunami hitting his home city.
I really, really do think this is going to hapfpen. I had the same dream over and over about it and St Teresa of Avila says this is one of the true Signs of a true grace. I would guess that many others have had similar dreams. But people in the West don't generally talk about their dreams. What could cause such a tidal wave? Well there are several things. But I have been thinking of a Prophesy lately that turns up from several Catholic mystics and saints and is also mentioned in Scripture, a world wide Earthquake. Scientists say it has never happened before but some say that it could happen.
I had a dream last night where I was in Europe, likely in the UK. I was with a bunch of novices of an order I don't remember, sitting outside on a patio eating a meal. The novices were of every shade of skin (white, black, asian, indian). When suddenly out of nowhere I saw drones attacking each other and exploding. The drones on one side were lighter green in the shape of a half moon, while the other was white and had the shape of the typical quad copter drones we see in modern combat. The odd thing is that both had St. George crosses on them. While these drones were attacking each other I noticed that they weren't doing any damage to anything around them. I don't know if this has anything to do with the current issues in the UK, but I suspect it does. My interpretation would be that the drones represented the current clash between Muslims and white British. That this conflict isn't really changing anything. I believe the novices represented a coming resurgence of Christianity which is going to come to the UK. That the eating of the meal on the patio means this coming resurgence is going to feed the people spiritually.
A mountain will fall in the sea is what I heard from a seer. Asteroid.?? I remember reading Revelations and reading that too. So I will reread some Revelations today.
I had a dream last night. I was in an old cathedral type church. I dreamt about being in church and receiving the Holy Eucharist. It was in pieces instead of a whole host. I always receive on my tongue and not in my hand. I’m feeling that God is angry that the Eucharist had been mocked recently and things will be torn apart. Or does it signify our church is torn apart? I’m feeling very bad tribulations are coming soon because of this. Any other thoughts?
The blasphemies against Our Lord these days are horrific. Within the Church and outside the Church. It sounds like a spiritual dream to me.
Could the Eucharist in pieces symbolize the division of the mystical body of Christ due to a new liturgy that will divide the Church in the name of synodality? https://www.youtube.com/live/8e9Fqoslc-w?si=Fp8vhEt4xHasOHa_
