My sister-in-law. She's 59. Rosemary balked for months about being vaccinated, despite working in a county hospital in El Paso, Texas. Because of the migrant influx, yesterday she received the 1st of 2 Moderna doses; also yesterday my husband received his 2nd and is now fully vaccinated. Rosemary has called him 3 times in the past 24 hours, including tonight, curious as to any effects on husband (none). During tonight's call, she told husband that her arm is sore. How is he doing, she asks again. We're married 28 years. Rosemary has NEVER phoned her brother like this before (her usual is once every 90 days!). Rosemary must be stressing. This is NOT like her at all. Please pray her mind is put to ease.
If her pain continues, especially if stiff in the shoulder... Any vaccine can cause frozen shoulder (SIRVA). Physical therapy can really help. It is a long process. Praying.
Prayers. We have not used the Moderna over here until yesterday so I have not heard of any ill effects.
