Geralyn and I rejoice in the arrival of our 11th grandchild at 6:20 this evening, 9/6/24, Eastern time. In 3 weeks I'll have the privilege of baptizing her, welcoming her into God's family!! Down in Lancaster, PA. Labor and delivery went smoothly for my daughter, Therese! Her fine husband, Johnny, is all smiles! Our 12th grandchild will hopefully be born with no complications down in Texas within 10 days! Another Catholic generation dedicated and entrusted into Our Lady's care! O Mary conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee!
Humor is always a great gift when contemplating the times in which we live. My eldest son, Fr. Benjamin, is now located in Philadelphia and will be able to be present for Rose's baptism this coming Saturday. In his community back in Fort Worth, TX, Ben "served" as bartender on special days of celebration. To tell you the truth, I don't know where he has picked up his ancillary skill set. But we had a good laugh on the phone today, deciding when the times get rough, he can go incognito, working in a bar. No matter how crazy it gets, there will always be a need for bartenders! Nothing like hobnobbing with the bartender and having your confession heard at the same time! Mary Most Holy, pray for us!
Congratulations - beautiful name - and wonderful to have 11 grandchildren. We have 13- lots of prayer needed on my part. You are also in my prayers!
Congratulations to you and your beautiful family. We had our 12th with the recent birth of twin boys to our daughter & her husband. It's such a great blessing. What a beautiful name.
God is spoiling you all rotten!! The Lord says, “My eyes shall be on the faithful of the land, That they may dwell with me; He who walks in a perfect way, He shall serve me.”A faithful man will abound with blessings
