Yes, thank you, this is a great idea. I can plead the Precious Blood of Jesus on all the thoughts in my mind, entering my mind and every fibre of my being, body, mind and soul. I actually kind of did this yesterday at Holy Mass, at the consecration of the wine. May God bless you abundantly!
Dear forum members, I guess your prayers are working, as I had a strange conversation with a fellow parishioner yesterday. He does not know about my problem. We talked about business ideas. Then he mentioned, quite out of the blue: "Online p. is bigger than us. It is aimed at our most powerful drive - procreation. Once addicted, we cannot fight this temptation as we can fight other temptations. We need to flee p. and turn to Our Lord and His Blessed Mother". I am quite amazed this came up in a conversation with a man that I hardly have a chance to speak with, and quite out of the blue. So I take from it that your prayers are working. God bless all here!
Thanks be to God for His Providence and for putting the right people around you to help you. St. Aloysius is a great intercessor for purity.
Michael_Pio, I often bite off more than I can chew in regard to commitments, but I will keep this simple and offer up a novena for you along with Therese, the Little Flower.
I found this today when looking through the concordance of Medjugorje messages. I was searching her previous use of the word "mountain". July 2, 2007 "Dear children! In the great love of God, I come to you today to lead you on the way of humility and meekness. The first station on that way, my children, is confession. Reject your arrogance and kneel down before my Son. Comprehend, my children, that you have nothing and you can do nothing. The only thing that you have and that you possess is sin... Be cleansed and accept meekness and humility. My Son could have won with strength, but He chose meekness, humility and love. Follow my Son and give me your hands so that, together, we may climb the mountain* and win. Thank you." Again Our Lady spoke about the importance of priests, and their blessing... *Our Lady referred to this as a spiritual climb. I hope this helps. We are all sinners. Which explains a lot about the parable of the unforgiving slave.
Thanks be to God, indeed! I have signed up for tomorrow's online deliverance session with Msgr. Rosetti. God bless!
Yes, I am the same. Hopefully, we can both carry through. I am very very grateful for your novena, dear Mario, to the Little Flower. I had the pleasure to visit her house and her Basilica in Lisieux two or three times over the years. My wife and my son enjoyed these visits, too.
Yes, frequenting the Holy Sacraments is high on my list. I go to confession about once every two weeks or even weekly. But I want to make it a point to go to weekday Masses more often, such as today (Monday). Planning to take my kids to the 6 pm Holy Mass. Thank you also for having pointed out the spiritual climb analogy. Hopefully, this time, I won't slide off the mountain. I am feeling carried by your prayers and support. May God bless you all very much! Our dear Lord and his most Immaculate Mother, we, our family, will keep turning to you and bringing you the members of this forum and their loved ones in humble prayer.
How wonderful! A humble suggestion: With the presence of children who can be cantankerous at times (imagine that), Geralyn and I had at one point 5 kids in a 10 year span. Let your spiritual habits grow gradually, but build over time. The Lord looks into the heart and knows the ups and downs of our lives here below.
Keep in mind that this is a battle, spiritual warfare at its highest level put on the armour of God and stand firm, your enemy never sleeps, When you get knocked down get up and start again.
St. Paul also uses that wonderful image of armor and spiritual warfare. Thank God too for the assistance of Our Lady and St. Michael! Ephesians 6: 13 Therefore take the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having girded your loins with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your feet with the equipment of the gospel of peace; 16 above all taking the shield of faith, with which you can quench all the flaming darts of the evil one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
You sound like you are in a good place and eager to be free. Also, you are doing everything humanly possible to assist Gods action. The Holy Spirit will bless your efforts I am sure. Loaves and fishes and God does the rest Our family has been going through a purification for about two years and we are finally seeing the light. Everything hidden will be brought to light and I would much rather have it brought to light on this side of the veil. Praying for you….
I shall have your intention in mind when I say my Rosary and pray for the graces you need. God bless you. Keep the faith. Each day is a new chance to try again. Seems we're all sinners trying to find the way.
I attended part of the session with Msgr. Rossetti today. It was really good. I got interrupted by a work call (it was 11 am our time). Hopefully, I can attend the next session. I don't know when it will be, it does not seem on the website yet. But thank you for having pointed this out, it seems like a great deliverance session.
