Yes, this is an awesome time of preparation for new missions in the days ahead. So exciting!

Years ago a 12 year old boy on our hospice was visited by Jesus a couple days before he died and was told, "You have completed your mission." That's when we'll each be called home, when we've completed our mission. Any of us standing at the end will surely envy our brothers and sisters who finished early. But we were born for this time - may we each finish strong!

I don't know about this. I think like all things we are constantly in the state of spiritual growth, some being more immature spiritually than others. I know in the past I would have reacted the same way if I though God wanted me to give it all up for him because I was spiritually immature. Now I'm like "Heck Yeah!" Of course I don't want my son to have to suffer because of my spiritual willingness, I would rather suffer for him. But if I suddenly found myself without any human responsibility I would try to find the best way to get rid of everything. The older I get the more I realize what a gift to be totally dependent on God. Just my 2 cents.

Thank you all for responding to my unworthy rant the other day. I was really in a funk for some reason. I was talking about it with my buddy at work and he was saying he was feeling the same kind of stuff. After I wrote that I was feeling really down and decided to go take a nice walk at lunch. I was still thinking about it and feeling down and then this wonderful song randomly (ha ha right like it was random at all!) came on my ipod and I felt instantly better!

You help sooo.. much!! After attending a retreat on the Divine Will, my thought, my fear is the same, how can I ask for the gift of the Divine Will if I can't do what God desires of me?

I think Our Lord means the faithful when He says "My Bride."

p.s. It is happened again of late, hearing about the Catholic understanding of the Bride and Our Lord being the Bridegroom. I caught the last part of a talk about God's Covenants on Catholic Radio. It was so fascinating I searched for the other talks of the presentation. Their are four. The speaker is Monsignor Daniel Deutsch. The first one, see the link, at the bottom of the page (26th).

Monsignor explains Salvation history by God's Covenants. Monsignor introduces his talk to the crowd with...you are going to be amazed! You are because God's ways in helping man, simple and intricate at the same time. The wonder of it, how could Our Lord live a daily life at the same time fulfilling all that was promised and prophesied? Wow!

I think it takes giving away your will to him repetitively. I've done it daily at Mass for over a year, and then "suddenly" got the gift.

One thing I learned at the Divine Will retreat (I knew very little of Luisa and her messages before the retreat).

Sanctifying grace comes from God, we all are aware. God always gives more, now in our time, the gift of the Divine Will is given, it is greater. You have to ask for it, to receive it.

 

Can you explain more of what you mean living in divine will and how you knew you suddenly got the gift?

Living in the divine will is a daily choice; asking God first thing in the morning to see in my seeing, breath in my breathing, work in my working, pray in my praying. Then consciously inviting Him to act through me whenever it comes to mind. For instance, when caring for my mother, I pray, "I do this work in your divine will, in reparation for all of humanity, from the first to the last, who failed to honor mothers and fathers. And I ask that my small actions give the glory owed to the father from all of humanity for the great gift of life and family." This gives the smallest acts great spiritual powers and effects.

The "gift" I'm speaking of is a new peace, a sense of being guarded and protected in a place the enemy can't reach. I no longer have the enemy whispering in my ear; I'm not feeling temptations like I used to (and please, God, this continues!) The interesting thing is, that protection shines a spotlight on my own pride and my own fallen nature. I've been blaming the enemy for a whole lot of stuff that belongs to me!

 

Kathy, I am not quite where you are spiritually, but I am in a place of peace at least every now and then. Being Franciscan in my heart helps with this, but it is more about accepting God and giving my activities to Him like you say. Jackie, one thing that has helped me is this thought...that God only expects us to do what we are capable of doing at any given moment in our life. Not that we should not try to do better, but that we need not do "as good" as someone else. God calls us to be the best version of ourselves, not the best version of somebody else. This is another lesson that is hard to wrap around, but you have to find that comfortable place in your heart for where you are now, and also know that you have all the time in the world to get it right. Do not stop, always try to move forward, but sometimes we need to slow down, and that is okay. Mary told the visionaries at Medjugorje that they could start with just one decade of the rosary, then another, then another...same with fasting. Always try to do better of course, but don't shortchange what you have already done or are doing now, however small it seems to you. To God it may be very big. It may be just enough for you for right now. God understands you better than you do, and you may be doing just as much as you are supposed to do right now. I hope I am making sense, it is not easy to explain how to find that peace inside. Remember that it is already there. It is always there. Relax and let God or your favorite angel or saint show it to you.

 

The Lord had me speak the following word, during the service yesterday morning, at the church I attend, which I would like to share with you for your discernment. Your comments are always welcomed.

See Scripture reference to the Great Warning, the last words in Revelation 6:15-17. And given to Judy, God speaks of the "terror" further on in Revelation 9. "My Church" will not experience it. On earth as it is in Heaven, is reference to the Millennium, the 7th Day

In the first part of the message. Judy sees a "celestial", there will be a celestial object to get everyone's attention at the time of the "awakening." At the start of her message (part one), something very important besides Scripture about the Warning. As in the time before Christ came, like the Jewish people, there are non-Catholic Christians today who believe Jesus' soon coming involves Our Lord to reign physically on the earth. No, no, Jesus says it twice.

There is another term for the Warning, the "awakening" is what our brothers and sisters often hear it called. Heaven has another term, the "mini judgment." Judgment is the word Our Lord uses at the end of the excerpt.

The Vision:

As I quietly waited upon the Lord, an astonishing vision began to unfold. I saw hundreds of thousands of stars that softly lit the night sky. It was so peaceful and beautiful. Suddenly flashes of lightning illuminated the heavens and smoke swirled around an object deep in the cosmos! Out of the smoke, a chariot appeared and it was rapidly approaching the earth. It reminded me of the one described in Scripture that took Elijah away – it was mysterious, fiery, and fierce! This ominous sight struck deep at my heart and the reverential fear of the LORD overwhelmed me.
Then I heard the voice of psalmist Misty Edwards softly singing, “Awake, Awake O Sleeper. He’s coming.”
I asked the Lord to help me understand what He was showing me.


The Lord Explains:

“What is coming is not about the return of Christ, as some would suppose, but it is the coming of the Awakening of My Church. This is the awakening of My faithful ones to come out of hiding, for it was not Me who said to hide in caves and wait to be taken out. I will cause your heart to be strengthened as you do the will of your Father on earth as it is done in heaven.

“My word reveals in Revelation 6:15-16 that men of all social statuses will hide from Me and cry out to nature to come to their rescue – begging for the rocks to fall on them. Revelation 9:4 states that the ones who do not have My seal on their foreheads are the ones who will beg for death and not find it. This terror is not for My Church; you are to walk confident and victorious in Me.

“Behold, I have spoken that I will send My prophet Elijah to restore the hearts of the fathers to their children and the hearts of the children to their fathers. This is the heart of the Father’s love!

“My return is not imminent, as Scripture is clear. Matthew chapter twenty-four tells what is to take place and in what order; however, My judgment on the land is – and My judgment is just. ...

Our Lord is NOT returning physically in His person until the final trump is blown, when the dead are raised at the Final Judgment. Our Lord's prophesied middle coming and His reign on the earth during the Millennium will be SPIRITUAL. Many divine charisms will be given in the new time, the Era of Peace as Catholics hear in the messages.

 

Non-Catholic Judy Bauman received this message over a period of time. I noticed in the message, maybe a revelation on the year, the nearness of the Warning, in the second paragraph. 2014 is the year 5774 on the Hebrew Calendar.

An old message was posted today at a Protestant daily message site called openheaven.com. Don't you think this excerpt is saying sin needs more than Jesus did it all on the cross, your sins are covered by Our Lord's blood?

Our Lord decided, everyone needs the grace of Sacramental Confession, the importance of repentance and confession of one's mortal sins to a priest. Personal confession of your sins to God, you don't take them seriously and how about humility? What a great benefit, it is so hard to say your sins out loud to another person.
