Could I request prayers please. My disabled husband had back surgery a couple of weeks ago which is ok, but today while at work I took a bad tumble and completely tore my Achilles tendon. Scheduled to see the surgeon tomorrow. Trying to figure out logistics of everything (I am primary breadwinner). Also, upon leaving the emergency department I learned that a coworker Tracy, was in a bad car accident major injuries.
May St. Luke, the doctor, pray for you to Jesus, our Healer and great Physician. May Mary hold Tracy close to her Immaculate Heart!
MC i will pray and keep you in my prayers. I am so sorry to hear this in so many levels. God bless you.
Thank you for your prayers, I will be going in for surgery tomorrow morning and out of work for 3-4 months. My coworker was in surgery yesterday, another today. She has no recollection of the accident. She has a long road of recovery ahead of her.
I Pray that " The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; and the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.”’ Amen
Since you fell at work, you are eligible for Workers Comp. They will pay you 2/3 of your gross pay from the past year, overtime included. Then they divide that by 52 and that is what you will get per week. No limit on how many weeks. My husband told me to tell you. My husband said don’t sign any releases and don’t work any part time or light duty because that will mess up your compensation. Just FYI something to think about. The only thing I can say is we will all keep praying for you. Successful surgery and speedy and uncomplicated recovery, “If He brings you to it, He’ll bring you through it.” Hopefully things will look brighter as time goes on. prayers for your coworker too. MC, we are all here for you. Lean on us.
HH, please thank your husband for this it has indeed brought some ease to my mind. Also for your words of encouragement, I am so blessed to be part of this beautiful community of faith.
God bless you. My husband is a practical man. Lol Rest easy and concentrate on healing. Jesus, please take good care of MC.
