My niece went in for prenatal testing a couple of weeks ago. They discovered the baby has Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia, a hole in his diaphragm. Due date is some time in November. My niece will have to go to the children's hospital to give birth. A special team will be standing by. He will need emergency surgery. The survival rate for this condition hovers around 70%. Even so, the potential for life long problems is rather high. After the diagnosis, my niece and her husband had genetic counseling, and it was determined this isn't a result of genetics. My niece is a nurse. She had the Covid injection shortly before conceiving. There was no talking her out of it. Only God knows if it's related. They have three healthy children all under the age of 4. Pray for my niece's safety and her unborn baby boy.
