I would like to request prayers for a priest who used to be at my hometown parish here in the Northern part of New Mexico. His name is Father Denis and he is currently back in his own country of Uganda. They are going through a great amount of unrest and are apparently under a military siege due to current elections. There are many arrests, tortures, jailings, and killings that are directed to anyone speaking against, the injustices, oppressions, exploitation, and bad governance. The clergy has been speaking out against such evils and are therefore targets.
Have offered some prayers for Fr. Denis, and he will be in my Rosary intentions tomorrow. St. Michael the Archangel, please help and protect Fr. Denis at this time.
