My older daughter, Rachel, has a friend, Erin, mother of 6. Here is what Rachel said (please pray): A mom of 6 in our parish went into the hospital today with a brain hemorrhage. They are trying to stop the bleeding and have discovered she has stage 4 melanoma in her brain, spine, and bones as well. Lord have Mercy!
Saint Roch, please make the sign of the Cross over this young mother Erin and obtain for her a miracle of healing if it is possible in God's Holy Will for this family. You were renowned for working miracles in your day dear saint, give Glory to God once more in the Name of Jesus. Amen.
Offering up Mass and Devotions in Front of the Blessed Sacrament now. Poor woman, poor children and husband. Prayers too for the evil, evil people who have conspired at all this. May God forgive and have mercy on their poor benighted souls. Wickedness at its total height. May God grant also that folks eyes be opened to these Benedict Arnold's within.
Prayers to St Joseph, the pillar of families, hope of the sick and comforter of the afflicted. For Erin and her family. We need a miracle St Joseph and leave this in your hands, together with your most holy spouse to present to your foster Son, Our Lord Jesus.
Again, thank you all for holding Erin in your prayers. My precious, older daughter, Rachel, gave an update as follows: ...The bleeding was from the tumor so they stabilized it and sent her home - she planned out her homeschooling for the next week - and then she started radiation and immunotherapy. It is a really fast growing tumor - had changed considerably in a week - so they're hoping tests this week will show it shrinking. Life goes on; a mother never stops pouring out! But our Faith reminds us: our steadfast Lord is ever present. Be merciful, O Lord, to Erin and her family!
