I honestly don’t think so. It’s hard to say this, but it would be like leaving the game in the 44th minute of the second half.
I tend to agree. I fear that the past 12 years were just a prequel to something worse. I hope I'm wrong. We must storm heaven for the next Pope. Prayers always for Pope Francis and for the man who will follow.
What I was thinking is that if the Pope had part of a lung removed in his youth due to pneumonia, now, with the highly complex situation of double pneumonia and a polymicrobial infection, is he heading toward survival with severe long-term damage to his "healthy lung"? I know many patients who had coronavirus and were left with serious lung complications. I’m not sure if this applies to the lung diseases Pope Francis is currently battling.
Think of all the cardinals appointed over the past 12 years and I'm afraid the deck is stacked against us.
Maybe resignation will happen? I was surprised by diagram that shows more conservatives than liberals. Pretty surprising if it’s accurate. https://www.zerohedge.com/markets/v...ignation-pope-francis-enters-8th-day-hospital

I had a dream last night and kept hearing the words , Two Popes, two Popes, Two Popes. I fear the Conclave will go into schism. But maybe that will not be the worst thing that ever happened. Let those who wish to run down to hell run on. Leave t he rest of us free then stay with Jesus.
Oh gosh, I can't even imagine what could be next since the Church is in such an utter mess as it is...
